Backyard Cafe

Found this delightful cafe on our first day in Phnom Penh. And had breakfast here for the next 10 days. A beautiful, plant filled, AC cafe that serves wonderful, healthy food. Our server was attentive and pleasent everyday. We had a variety of items from their breakfast menu but the best bang for your buck was from their combos (there are 5) which included a main, a fresh pressed juice and any coffee or tea you wanted. We opted for a latte and flat white. Wonderful barista! Bread was a whole grain sourdough. Everything was so fresh. Lots of business people meet here or are on zoom calls. Backpackers, locals, young and not so young. Highly highly recommend!!

such a cute cafe! came here for breakfast & already planning to come back another day. it’s a little bit on the pricier side, but a great spot for vegans/vegetarians. they have lots of different options! delicious food. the naughty but nice smoothie was one of the best smoothies i’ve ever tasted.

Cozy vibe, very fall in love with the atmosphere here. Friendly services and delicious all menu especially coffee that made from a premium ingredient and think of healthy. At Backyard Cafe you not enjoy only atmosphere but healthy food and metal heal 💖

Although a lot has been said about this lovely cafe, there's always room for more appreciation. Located centrally, this bright, airy cafe boasts of cozy interiors and some great vegetarian/ vegan options. It's a really pity that we weren't hungry enough to sample more of the menu. We ordered coffee and a vegan key lime pie. The pie was absolutely delicious and the coffee hot and strong. Best of all, for those seeking hot breakfast or brunch, there are so many wonderful options that you will be spoilt for choice. The staff serve with a smile and the place makes you want to linger a bit longer. This was a great find and highly recommended to those visiting or living in Phnom Penh.

We loved the food and the atmosphere here. Very chill contemporary vibe. I loved the spacious interiors, and very comfy seating. We had a wrap, falafel bowl, coffee etc. Everything was very good. Service was great too. Do visit when in Phnom Penh.

The healthy café in town—I really love their coffee for just $3. It has a lovely vibe with big tables, perfect for meeting friends. You can come here to work or have a meeting. They also have an upstairs area with even bigger tables. They offer healthy snacks, coffee, and meals. The biggest downside is the parking. There’s no car parking at all.

During my short stay in Phnom Penh I came to this place twice. Recommended by a local friend, it met and exceeded my expectations. Consistent good food (I went for breakfast both times), quiet environment (perfect for work or a quiet chat with someone), and super friendly staff. Located very central, so make sure to stop by for a bite or coffee!

This is the nicest coffee I'd recommend for those who want to find a quiet place for a date or meeting here. Everything seems so good, the quiet atmosphere, some trees and plants to make us feel fresh, and a cool air conditioner.
