Absolutely delicious burgers, served with fries and by a very polite, English speaking gentleman who didn't get annoyed when we didn't know what we wanted and were taking our time ordering. I had a burger with blue cheese and it was fantastic. Daughter, son and wife also had a burger and each and every one of them agreed that everything was perfect. This, of course, is coming from a Brit who is used to having rubber burgers sold in every pub and restaurant across the land and which cost roughly £12 -£14 and are more and more frequently being served without fries. So, when we say these burgers are delicious, to us they are but I'd find it difficult to believe there are better burgers out there. larger ones, maybe but I was really struggling to finish mine and I'm a hefty eater. If you are close by and hungry, you really can't go wrong with one of these beauties....

The burger was great! Meat was very juicy and flavours were so well combined. Highly recommend put avocado sauce to your burger, you won't regret. French fries were a bit dry though. Otherwise staff is very friendly and beer is good (I had dark one).

Cheap, but very tasteful burger place! Good customer service. The extras are expensive compared to the basic burger but for the budget conscious you can have a great meal with a burger and fries for 10 euros! Fries are homemade ! Photos as of May 2018.

Great place for good burgers. The meat patty was made up of 200g premium cuts and it was cooked to medium. I love the chili sauce, it goes well with the fries.

First we were spooked by slightly higher prices than the rest of bacoa places, but the burger is much bigger (tastes a bit different from other bacoas, there was sauce unfamiliar to me) and coming with fries included (normal or sweet potatoes). The sour cream sauce with sweet potatoes is just amazing - i couldn't figure out in the end what herb was giving it a bit nutty taste. Absolutely recommended.

Had the La Bacoa which was pretty damn good....quality of the meat was apparent and would definitely go back for the same. Great condiments and toppings. Only complaint was the bun would have been nicer toasted and the fries weren't evenly salted but they are minor points and still 5 stars.

I've ordered the vegan burger and it was really tasty, also it's fries and ketchup sauce was homemade. It is a small but cozy place. Friendly staff.

Essentially raw. Absolutely disgusting. I wish there wasn't a language barrier so I could better explain. Though pointing at bright red meat didn't seem to do anything, so I dont think language would have made a difference.

Oh my I loved everything about this place. First off the service is wonderful. The guy at the counter was so enthusiastic and made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant even though it was pretty busy. Love the fact that they have menu's in english. You order by first checking off the items you want on a pamphlet and then present that to the cashier so nothing is lost in translation. Now for the actual burger! I think this may very well be the best burger Ive had. Anywhere! I mean the craftsman ship alone is award winning. Its so well plated I almost didn't want to touch it. The quality of beef they use is above fresh. It was definitely high quality meat. If you decided to go with the organic grass fed beef its only .50 more, which I thought had to be a typo lol. They also run a video in the restaurant showing the farm where the cows are raised. Its a small local farm that uses ethical practices and it shows in the taste of the beef. I cant recall the name of the burger I had but it had manchego cheese, bacon and caramelized onions on it. Dear lord the flavors paired so well with each other it was party in each bite. However, the caramelized onions were the star of the show. Those little suckers are amazing. I suggest ordering extra, you wont be disappointed. The burgers are also huge! If you're a light eater definitely consider sharing one. The only thing I didnt care for was their house made ketchup. Which is probably because my unsophisticated palate is used to that highly processed junk Heinz puts out. But they also make their own mayo which is on the burgers and that was delicious. Heads up, your order takes a little time to come out. Likely due to it being freshly made and of course the place is usually pretty busy. However, Id wait twice that amount of time to taste that burger again.

Americans shouldn't eat burgers outside of America. We have too high expectations and standards when it comes to a good ol' burger. This place is attractive with a long line, guaranteed fresh beef, and homemade sauces. You also bubble in what burger you want, type of sauces & extras, and the type of potato sides you'd like. We waited about 45 min in total from end of line to getting our food. Not worth the wait.. The burger itself was good, pink tinged inside and charred on the outside. The classic white bun is too thick in my opinion, too much bun to meat ratio. The French fries were mediocre, too well done and not fluffy enough. Note to self: do not try a burger spot just out of curiosity- better to stick with the food specialty of the country.

This place was one of the best dinner places I've gone to in Spain the burgers and fries were delicious! The only downfall was the WiFi wasn't the greatest. 1000% should check this place out if you're visiting Barcelona

Stumbled upon this place when walking to barceloneta. I don't eat meat so I can't speak to what the majority of the burgers taste like but i had the vegan burger and I really enjoyed it. The concept of the place is that you walk in and fill out s card with what you want. You can make alterations to any order like adding extras, changing the type of bread, and picking different sides and sauces. I liked this and so I added cheese and pickles to my vegan burger and also got a side of the fries. The food came quickly and it was very tasty. I think this is a good place to have a quick bite but you should be aware that the burgers are large and so this is definitely a heavy meal- I was sooooo full after snd probably ate a little bit too much for how much walking I was about to do!

Good spot, wouldn't say the best but it's worth trying. I had the overloaded patatas which were not that good at all. I asked for a medium burger and they gave me a raw burger. They later cooked my burger a little more to my taste.

Better than American burgers for sure. This was a pleasant surprise. Moist meat with uniquely prepared toppings created a fresh and delicious lunch choice. The staff was super helpful and they taught us how to properly order our food. Be ware of the sauce applied and make sure it's to your liking. Highly recommended.

4 stars. I've yet to find the holy grail of veggie burgers. This wasn't it. I mean it was good, yes, & I just might return to Kiosko for it, if I ever find myself in the Barceloneta area, but yeah, I can't say that I "need" to return to Kiosko for their veggie burger. Who goes to burger places for their veggie burger anyway, right? Maybe like 1 out of 15 people. So yeah, this review is just for the veggies out there, so for the majority of peeps, don't let this influence what might just turn out to be your best burger experience in the whole of Barcelona. I liked the energy of this place. It was full of people during lunch time, & I loved their black & red decor. Their bottled sauces were also pretty fantastic & nicely designed, including the packaging for the burgers ("Burger Diario", or Burger Newspaper).

Food quality: hamburguer was delicious. Fresh products and really tasty beef. The sauces are homemade and tasty. General quality is more than average. Service: just the typical staff behind the desk like a fast-food restaurant. Nothing to be critized. Service speed was just normal. Place: the restaurant is very small, just for eating in 10 min and leave. It's very narrow, specially when is crowded. Not recommended for big groups, you might wait too much time to get a piece of table. Price: affordable. For 12 eur each you might enjoy a big hamburguer with french fries and fresh drink. Price is a little bit more than average but the quality highly worthy pay it.

Very very Good spot, wouldn't say the best. I had the takeaway fastfood, fast services! I asked for a medium burger and they gave me a meduim burger. They later cooked my burger a little more to my taste. Very helpful! thanks

One night we fancied something that wasn't tapas, but dreaded go going to McDonalds or something similar. I think we passed this so did a quick search and found it. Its a really good burger I must say. Hands down beat five guys and would give GBK a run for its money. Open till 1am which came in handy. There mustard is incredible good job there guys. 1 Person, Burger (with basically everything on it), fries, soft drink, €13.

Got here after a review in Yelp, overall the reviews were good. Starting off - you get a card menu, while you wait for your turn to order you fill in your order (great idea). The place is lovely with great atmosphere and when the food arrived - it was very good! Juicy and tasty- yum!

SO DELICIOUS! I got the Roost, which is a chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. The sauce was amazing and all the different layers of ingredients complemented each other to make an incredible chicken sandwich. I also got a side of fries, which I would definitely recommend. They are thin cut, but perfect size to complement my sandwich. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty big so definitely come hungry! Would definitely come again.

When in Spain, and specially in Barcelona, the last thing I may want to have is a burger. I live in Houston and we have great burgers in town. Also, Spanish food in general is outstanding. Regardless of the region in Spain, the cult and passion for food is extreme. I know, I am just about to talk about a burger, but it totally took me by surprise finding such a well crafted burger in Barcelona. Everything seems done in-house and the quality of the ingredients are excellent. Please note that this place is very close to some of the best dives I've tried in Barcelona (e.g., el Vaso de Oro and Can Paixano), and it became a must for my next visit. I had a simple cheese burger with bacon, but there wasn't anything simple about it. From the bun to the patty and everything in between, this burger was outstanding. Will definitely try again in my next visit.

While I was on vacation in Barcelona I was a bit over tapas and paella. We came across this gem just walking around and was stoked they had a black bean option for us vegetarians. I loved that it was build your own. I got a black bean burger with avocado, grilled onions, and their special mayo sauce. Wow! The burger could barely fit in my mouth but I made sure I was able to eat every bite I could. As messy as the burger was it was worth every finger lick. It was a bit pricey compared to burgers back home but totally worth it. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the music playing was perfect. I heard tame impala which was the perfect setting for the wooden benches and succulents. If you're ever in a burger craving, I definitely recommend this place!

A really good place for have a dinner with friends! Staff friendly, the food is really good (and huge!). The concept and the place is really cool. Most of the time you have a long queue but it's quite fast to enter and have a chair. I highly recommend it ! Super endroit, j'ai adoré le concept, les burgers, l'ambiance les serveurs ! C'est plus un endroit pour se retrouver avec des amis. Les prix sont vraiment raisonnables et les burgers très bons et très copieux! Il y a souvent la queue devant le resto, mais cela est assez rapide. Je recommande vraiment!

If you spend the day in La Rambla, you might need to refuel on energy. If so, get your tired butt and blistered feet to Kiosko! Kiosko is soooo good that you need to be prepared to wait in line. Don't worry. You have to fill out a form of what you want to order. Kiosko has menus in English, Spanish and, I think if I recall right, German. I had a chicken burger and my fiance had a hamburger. Man, I definitely wasn't expecting a huge burger but we weren't complaining. Fries were good as well. Overall, it was heavenly! Seating may be a challenge. We got good seats. However, there are some seats by the line which barely gives you any room to pull out the chair and dine. I don't know what they were thinking unless they were trying to take advantage of having as many people in the building as possible. Overall, service was good as well as the food.

Glad I stumbled upon this joint! The service was great, and the hamburguesa muy deliciosa! Of course I finished it off with papas fritas y una cola! The atmosphere was great, and the style of the shop was really neat/urban/chic/simplistic.

WOW! Great place, great vegetarian friendly concept. This place has the best vegetarian burger we have ever eaten! What a relief to finally have a real vegetarian meal in a city where all there seem to have is seafood and meat. We ordered our burger and salad without goat cheese and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good veggie burger with fries, bravas and/or a good salad.

The burgers are amazing here!! Been in this place few times already and I always end up thinking that I have to come more often!! The queues and the service model could be much better (meaning it would be better to have enough tables and waitresses asking for your order instead of lining up to make the order...). The waiting once you have ordered is very short so thumbs up for that! :D For the taste... These are one of my favourite burgers ever (and I'm a burger lover), size is just perfect and presentation as well - it spills all over your hands though... Haha Enjoy!!

This is the food you will ever eat. The place is almost always crowded and there isn't much room to sit, but the quality of all their products is more than enough to make up for it. The buns, patties, sauces, everything is made there and usually with organic ingredients. My favorite so far is the Japanese.

Great big burgers with a variety of options. All of our groups options were very tasty and satisfying. Service is pretty poor but that is the setup. We didn't receive out complete order and it took asking 3 times to get it. It was very crowded so getting seats together was a challenge but the ambiance is good. I would Definitely would go back when I need a break from tapas.

Kiosko has a great burger. Nothing too fancy, but it was a solid burger. Good size, too, as most of the burgers I had in Catalunya were bit smaller (perfect size for me, but my husband enjoyed getting a bigger burger!). I liked how you could select from a few pre-made options, but also customise it to your liking. They're potato wedges and fries were great, too. None of their sauces were quite spicy enough, though--but that's Barcelona, for ya! Barcelona, you know I have so much love for you, but spicy food is not your strong suit.

Our Hotel was near Bacoa so we had to try this restaurant. You first have to order and pay your dish at the cash register as soon as you come in. You'll get a number and then wait to get served. The variety of different burgers is awsome. I found that the prices where a little bit to expensive but the tasty burger and fries i was served justified that price. Best Burger in Barcelona!

I've had most of the burgers on the menu there over the course of a couple years, and really love them. Bread is really good, and each burger has a special flavour. Beef appears to be of good quality. I do not like the fries too much, however - they're pretty basic.

This was the best food we had while in Barcelona. The place was packed, but the line moved quickly and the food came out fast after ordering. The burgers are truly great in every way. I got the classic and my wife got the one with blue cheese and both were exceptional. A must while in Barcelona when you are ready for something that isn't tapas.

This place is guaranteed to have a line out the door around dinner time, and a consistent flow of customers throughout the day. Given how busy this cozy sized bar is, I was surprised at not only how quick the service was after ordering, but also at the quality of the food that from a simple menu. The food is tasty, the service is good, and you definitely get what you paid for.

As someone who had thousands of burgers in my life in hundreds of different places i feel very competent to judge the burger quality. Kiosko burgers are really great 5 out of 5 stars. Probably not the greatest, but really really good. The bread is (often) fresh, meat is very juicy and of fantastic taste, the extras are fresh and generously added and the whole package is delivered professionally. On the downside I must say that due to a fantastic quality-price ratio, the demand for the burgers is huge, which makes the queues enormously long (30min+) most of the evenings. I think that raising the prices would not only improve the revenues for the place, but also would increase the customer satisfaction for many of us. Perhaps introducing an evening tax may help reducing the queues. I for sure would come much more frequently had there been shorter queues. One other thing that management could work on is educating their customers that the 6e-a-burger place is not for hanging out but rather for eating. Sometimes it has been really annoying to see a group of several people with nerdy glasses sitting there for ages drinking their beer after the burger, while a crowd of other people wait for a seat. Not cool.

These were easily the best burgers I found in all my time living in Spain (& also one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life!) The ingredients are fresh and delicious, the selection is fantastic and the sauces are homemade and tasty. I would go here at least once a week - but be prepared for a bit of a wait, they get long lines - but are definitely worth it! Also, it's one of the few places that has great customer service and smiling friendly people working there - extra bonus! If you find yourself in the area, you must pass by....

The burger is really good specially the chicken one , but the only problem is that the staff are so slow in taking orders , that sometimes it takes 45 to just order . But once you do that you know it worth waiting.

Burger is sooo good. I got the special of the week and their veggie patty is delish. The workers are a bit straightforward but the service was fast. Definitely a good place to go for drunchies as they are open late! Price is good for how good the burger is.

Burgers are made to order. You have to fill out a form and tell them exactly what you want. Burgers were pretty good. I ordered a side of mustard but I didn't care for it as it tasted like it had cumin or some Indian spice. Fries were good. A bit pricey but nowadays what real burger isn't?!

Love these burgers!!!!! They really know how to make burgers, the bread is good, the meat... just a problem, I don't like the fact that lately is a fashion to go in a place disposed to eat and end up working for the place... I mean... the McDonalsd / BurgerKing style, help yourself is not cool at all. I LOVE to be served at the table instead to get into the place, wait in a long line, order the food and wait again to be called to pick up your meal. It's the only objection that I have with this place. About the quality of the food... 8 points! Besides the area is nice, near the beach and Born neighbourhood.

Huge burgers, raw on the inside (not pink. raw). We asked to have one put back on the grill. Very unfriendly staff. Returned with burger in exact same condition. Fries where okay, salad okay, too, but tiny (and thus, overpriced). Cold and drafty place. Not a good experience.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday when everything else (except tourist traps) were closed. We got the Japonesa and the the Catalan, with a side of patatas bravas. The Japonesa was glazed with teriyaki sauce and the Catalan was topped with fried shredded potatoes and bits of bacon. The burgers are very big, but not too thick unlike their American counterpart. They are easy to hold and not messy to eat. The buns (get the classic white) had poppyseeds and were soft, fluffy, and almost cloud-like. The patties were medium cooked and just as big as the buns themselves. The patties were not too thick, but if you are a big carnivore, there is the option to get a double patty. The most amusing thing about the whole experience was the condiments. There were kiosko-branded bottles of ketchup (very different from Heinz), bravas sauce and spicy bravas sauce. On its own, the burger is a little bland, so these sauces are great to add a bit of a kicker.

Awful tourist trap. Burnt meat, burnt bun and no place to sit. Absolutely overrated.

Top 5 Best Burgers in Barcelona (with Bacoa, Meatpacking, Filete Ruso an Pim Pam Burger)

Unique, quality burgers. Definitely a different taste than the typical hamburger in America.

A friend who has lived in Spain for the past 15 years, and who visits Barcelona regularly, took me here for lunch this past week (July 15th, 2014) and I was very content overall. The small boutique 'fast-food' restaurant specializes in burgers, and their menu offers something for everyone. It seems Kiosko is just one of 3 burger joints run under the name 'Bacoa', the other two called 'Bacoa Universitat' and 'Little Bacoa'. I must admit it was a bit difficult to decide between the amazing array of burgers offered, but I settled on the 'Australian'/'Ozzy' burger which came with bacon, grilled pickled beets, cheddar cheese & 'homemade' bbq sauce. It was exquisite, and quite filling, along with the side order of patatas bravas. Along with the drink (a fanta limón), my order came out to 13.90 euros, which though obviously more expensive than your average fast-food meal was quite worth it. One thing to note is the wait time, which is mostly due to the long line at the counter when you walk in. I've heard that this line often stretches out the door, so I was happy to find it occupied by only about 10 people when I arrived. This provided the perfect amount of time for my friend and I to decide what we wanted, and by the time we got to the cash register the employeed quickly took our orders and gave us number placards to sit with so the wait staff could bring us the burgers when they were ready (about 5-7 minutes later). I would also note that this restaurant does take-out, as we observed an employee entering the store and loading up a mini-van with paper bags full of burgers and fries. Altogether a great option in the oversaturated touristic part of one of the world's most visited cities.
