Good location and the apartment was spacious with its own kitchen. The breakfast arrangements were not explained to us and when we arrived we were met by the cleaner who only spoke Italian. Fortunately I speak enough Italian to be able to communicate with her. The apartment floor was not very clean and street noise was audible at night. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the apartment's kitchen rather than having to go the communal area. Having said this, I would stay here again as it was good value for money overall.

I stayed at this hotel during New Year’s, and while the experience wasn’t bad, I found the price high for what was offered. With the same amount, I’ve stayed in real 3 or 4-star hotels in cities like London, Barcelona, Berlin, and Zurich. Let’s start with the positives: the owner was incredibly friendly, which made my stay pleasant. The highlight was the 24-hour coffee machine with unlimited coffee, water, and some juices—a nice touch. However, the breakfast was very basic, consisting only of bread and jam, which I didn’t try during my 4-day stay. The apartment is quite old, though it was clean, and the location is perfect—probably the best thing about this place. That said, given my experiences elsewhere, I feel the price was too high, although it might have been due to the New Year period. Based on value alone, I’d rate it 3 stars, but since the owner was so friendly and helpful, I’m giving it 4 stars.

Cute rooms, great location, easy access in and out, right near the main bus station so it was easy to get to the airport. Good air conditioning. We stayed here two different times and the second room had a bathroom that was private but outside of the room (we had the only key - but inconvenient and very hot in the bathroom). If you hoped for a breakfast buffet with hot items, you would be very disappointed - only yogurt and a coffee/tea machine and pre-packaged crisp bread and pastry in the room. However - you could go to the 24 hour place across the street for simple food items. The host was available - personable and helpful.

Second time here and probably for our the next trip in Catania will chose the same way. Stylish, nice and clean rooms, close to the city center, bus and train station. The personnel is nice and helpful (thanks for everything, Alessandro !). Excellent price/quality ratio.

The accommodation was grotty and tired. We got what we paid for given how cheap it was, but it definitely looked more pleasant in the photos than it was in real life. There was no lift which didn't make things easy with luggage. The light in our room flickered constantly. The bathroom was very disappointing - the shower was blocked so didn't drain whilst in use and filled up with water, the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied before our stay and in general the bathroom wasn't very clean, we were told it would be for our private use even though it was separate to the room but other guests used it in the night. We were told we would be able to store our bags but the host was no where to be seen at check out time so we couldn't store them with him and had to pay to store them in the city centre instead. Only positives really were the low cost and that it was a fairly central location.

Lovely room and roof terrace to have coffee in the morning. The location is perfect to visit the city’s highlights and have a stroll. Owner was very kind and welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage after check out wich was very helpful to enjoy our last day on the main market for lunch. Thanks for the good time <3

The location of the hotel itself is excellent, since you're just feet from Catania's busy fish market and on the south side of the central tourist area. The hotel reminds one of a European hostel, but with private rooms of course. The breakfast is not much: bread and jam, yogurt and juice, and coffee (I would suggest some fresh fruit or pastries). My room had a comfortable bed and was very clean.

Host Alessandro was very helpful. Perfect location for exploring Catania and close to the bus station for trips elsewhere. Great value for money, super clean. Loved our attic room and terrace off the breakfast room, watching the swifts in the evening with a beer.
