Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life - wow! Our waitress Sara was awesome, and we loved sitting out on the patio. Great beer menu and we loved our salad too. 12/10

Google
The Detroit style pizza was excellent! Nice beer list, some good wines and just a cozy, welcoming space. Love it!

Pizzas are unique! The sauce has a little sweetness to it but the cheese and toppings add the saltiness/ spice. I LOVE atmosphere here, the colors and art work make it funky! There are large tables for bigger groups along with outside seating. There is an extensive selection of beer and wine and definitely something for everyone. Service is a 10/10, Gillian is the sweetest and super helpful.

Leave your Karen at home. This place is a cozy, social atmosphere, with great beer/wine, amazing food, and all the ingredients for a memorable evening with friends or loved ones. Dont expect: - fast service - the full menu in stock - quick food - the location to entertain your adhd kids. Expect: - nothing. Like it or dont, this place has an aire of indifference. It will keep on serving beer and pizza to those who like their beer and pizza. It's that simple. They dont need your approval. They dont need my approval. Why am I even writing this?

I really was prepared to be disappointed, but this place really lives up to the hype. Best pizza in Door Co, and I would say significantly better than Wild Tomato in their prime. They know what they are doing by deciding what days of the week they will make pizza and only sharing it via Instagram. No take outs, no call ins, if you want the pie you have to come in and experience it. They had 1 bartender and server working at 200 miles per hour, but it added to the loure Its not fast, you’re going to be there awhile, but its an incredible place to enjoy. Don’t just go trying to be in a hurry. This is the kind of place that will soon become so busy it would be visitable, so if you can get in, go now. Well done Bad Moravian. Well done.

We were visiting the area for my wife's birthday and she decided she wanted pizza. After looking up some possibilities I was struck by the 5.0 star ratings this place received. We arrived a little late in the evening and found the place hopping. They were definitively understaffed but that's not uncommon these days. Service was uneven but friendly. Upon ordering a pizza, we were told they only make a certain number of crusts per day and that they may be out. After checking, we were lucky enough to get the last dough of the evening. We order the "Apocalypse Wow" which has pepperoni, sausage, and hot giardiniera. My wife wasn't feeling well so we asked to hold the giardiniera. I have tried Detroit style pizza a couple of times and found it to be too doughy and lacking in flavor so I was interested to see if we were going to like this or not. When the pizza came out it was a thing of beauty. Lots of toppings and a beautifully caramelized crust. It did come out with the giardinera on it and we knew there was no more dough so we couldn't send it back. What a fantastic mistake. The flavors were so balanced and popped and the hot giardinera was not too hot and added such flavor to the pizza. Honestly this is one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The vibe is eclectic and cool. Music was rocking and they had a really unique and varied beer selection. I think about coming back to Door county and having this pizza again and again...

Google
Wow this place is unbelievable… from the N/A options, pizza nights, mac n cheese nights and Jamaican Door making appearances... This guy, Randy, is all of us locals favorite person in Door County, he looks out for nearby small businesses and gives us a place to showcase and sell our food, art, clothing. Ryan is a great bartender, tip him well as he just had his second baby girl. This spot feels like my home away from home. It’s cozy and warm and beautifully decorated. AND THE PIZZA 🤒🤒🤒🤒🤒🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Google
Hard to explain - craft beer and Detroit-style pizza at Door County prices with Door County hospitality. Not a dive and not a restaurant, but delicious and worth a visit. The closing time of 9ish gives you the feeling that this place is up for a good time if a good time is happening.

Yelp
So far, this place had the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had (disclaimer: I've only had Detroit style at four places in Milwaukee and one place in Denver). The dough was buttery and fluffy, and the edges of the crust had perfectly caramelized cheese to add a crispy texture. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were all delicious! They serve one size and only Detroit style, so that makes your decision easier. Hours vary, so check their social media page (mainly IG) the week you plan to go. Usually open some combination of Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday from 4pm to 8pm. Plan accordingly and trust me, you NEED to eat here if you like pizza!

Yelp
I literally stumbled upon this beacon of pure light during a snow storm. Bad Moravian was within walking distance from the place I was staying in Door County. There was a snow squall going on, but I wanted a glass of wine and I'd be danged if I'd let a snow squall stop me from getting a glass of red. Blessedly, this place was open, and they welcomed me and my friends, even though we were bedraggled and covered with snow. Bad Moravian is full of vintage furniture and artwork everywhere you look. It's one of those places that you would call "a vibe" (although I would never say those words). You could also call it "hipster," although I'd never say that word either. The decor is just very intentional and aware of itself. I got a glass of Lambrusco, which was nice and effervescent, and nice to sip on while I defrosted. My friends got a glass of Beaujolais and a beer, but Bad Moravian has lots of other carefully curated selections of adult beverages. They also have a small selection of pizzas, which you can customize. We didn't stay long enough to eat, just long enough for drinks. But this is a great place to get drinks. It's cozy and fun.

Yelp
Delicious. Funky..and worth it if you can find it. Small place with great Detroit style pizza. Chill, don't be a dick and enjoy a beer or two while the do their art.

Yelp
Great deep dish pizza and wonderful people! Nice selection of wines and beers. This is Ephraim, no hard liquor. But that's fine.

Yelp
Very cool, hipster type place. Super unique only being open on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Beer selection was good and the pizza was very fresh and delicious. A bit of a wait for the pizza but we weren't in a hurry. Service overall was great.

Yelp
Super cool place that three of us stopped in on an electric bike ride. Nice vibe, and really well curated beer menu. Sophie, the bartender and Randy, the owner, were both really friendly. Randy sat with us a bit and talked about his business plans. Awesome dude worth supporting. There's an adjoined coffee place that we are going to check out tomorrow. Very excited to check it out. And we will be back for more beer!

Yelp
This is the best pizza in Door County- Detroit style. The tomato sauce is very fresh.

Yelp
Update. Open Thurs-Sat now. Updates on open nights on Instagram. They have also hired additional help so runs really smooth now. Still my favorite pizza ever. Apocalypse Wow! Try it.

Yelp
This is a little gem of a place with micro brews. The pizza is delicious. But I can't give them 5 stars because it's so salty. I love salt, but the pizza is so salty that I have to drink water for hours after I eat it. All four of us at the table experienced this, as have others I've spoken to. If they could just cut the salt in half, they'd have the best pizza in Door County. As far as ambiance, there isn't much, which is fine. But the chairs are extremely uncomfortable.

Yelp
Wow! We stumbled across this hidden gem on a rainy Thursday night and discovered delicious, authentic Detroit-style pizza...slightly charred buttery crust, fresh tomato topping, spicy pepperoni! The diverse beer selection only made things better, including two N/A choices. Special shout out to Ryan who single-handedly and efficiently ran the entire front room. Super friendly!

Yelp
This place is great! A wide selection of beers from Belgian, to stouts, to IPAs. Sophie is a cicerone and is very knowledgeable. Thankfully for the customers she is very generous with her knowledge and does not assume everyone is a beer expert. And the serve Delicious pizza and Wednesday and Thursday. The place is small which gives it an intimate vibe. Try it...you won't be disappointed.
