Went to this restaurant as it was highly rated n close to our inn, so just had to visit & it did not disappoint. We luckily made a reservation, else we might not have had a chance to dine in as the restaurant was full on a Monday evening. The restaurant has such a great ambiance and takes you right to the beaches of NS. Loved the decor. We ordered the mussels bucket, crab dinner, sea food chowder, and a desert. The chowder was so flavorful with chunky pieces of seafood. The mussels were plentiful but not much of a white wine broth. The snow crabs were the highlight full of meat and so delicious. Desert was good. Would highly recommend.

We came for an early dinner around 5pm ok a Wednesday night and by the time we finished around 6:30pm, the restaurant was jam packed. We both had the four course meal (crab & lobster) and both were absolutely wonderful! Can't go wrong with either! The chowder and mussels are unlimited and served before the main. Both are really good, but I personally enjoyed the chowder more. Definately drop by for dinner if you're in the area.

Google
It was about a 45 minute wait. Food and service was overall good. The chowder has a lot of seafood in it but it’s mostly shredded, still good but not great. The mussels were good as well. The lobster came partially cracked but the majority wasn’t and took a little work since you only get one small “fork” and nothing else. The service was great. I’d go back.

Google
Go early as this spot is only open for 4 hours and is very popular. The food is outstanding. The lobster and crab are fresh. Both are served with a wonderful green salad, baby potatoes with a hint of dill and coleslaw. Ordered a cup of chowder. Light broth with shrimp and other seafood. Lovely. Ended with a luscious chocolate cake with a mocha frosting and a side of French vanilla ice cream (only $6). Definitely don’t miss out.

Google
Casual seafood dinner in this very scenic waterside venue. Amazing seafood chowder, steamed mussels, and lobster. The bucket of mussels is huge...so bring your appetite and share around the table! The salmon is made with maple syrup and grilled on maple planks so it is quite sweet to taste. Not cheap, but big portions and well prepared. Good beer and wine options.

Google
Just what you expect from a lobster boil, simple and delicious. The chowder and mussels were very tasty and the Lobster and Crab could not be beat. The Coconut Cream Pie was delicious and a great meal ender.

Google
A touristy spot that should not be missed if you’re into lobster and you’re on the Cabot Trail! Food was well prepared, albeit expensive! We brought our 2.5 year old - not really a kids place. Would recommend adults or adventurous kid eaters only! I had the all you can eat mussel and chowder option! Very delicious chowder - chalk full of all the good stuff! The views were lovely and we appreciated that it is somewhat of an institution in the area! Glad to have experienced it!

Google
Can't recommend this place enough! The portions you get for the price you pay is very good value. And the food is amazing quality! You can tell that they actually make their crab and lobster fresh, unlike other restaurants in the area that reheat from frozen. Great selection of Nova Scotia wines! The potato salad was the best I've ever had! I don't even normally like potato salad, but this was made with whole small potatoes and fresh herbs and an in house made dressing. I'm going to dream about that potato salad. I had the crab supper, I was so full but I kept eating mussels anyway because their mussels were delicious! In addition, you can tell all the staff are happy and care a lot about what they are doing. This businesses owned by a local family and hires people within the local community. When you eat here, you're supporting a community effort. Which is very important to me, as post-pandemic a lot of restaurants have been bought up by people who don't even live in the communities that keep them afloat.

Yelp
One of the best Lobster Supper in Nova Scotia! Great service and fresh and delicious food. Our lobster was nicely cracked that it was easy to eat. We ordered the 4 course meal all you can eat option which includes: all you can eat steamed mussels and seafood chowder. And a main dish (lobster, snow crab, salmon or steak), dessert, oat cake and biscuits, salad, soft drink and tea/coffee. It's a lot but so delicious you won't be disappointed. Clean and updated interior, cutely decorated and spacious inside. But this place does get filled up quickly so I'd recommend showing up at 4pm if you don't want to wait.

Yelp
Our first dinner spot at Cape Breton road trip. Nice restaurant with great ambiance. Good and very prompt service. We had the lobster dinner, good fresh NS lobsters. Yup, would recommend this place for a good dining experience

Yelp
If you've never done a traditional Maritime Lobster Supper, this is your chance. Fair warning, be prepared to wait for a table to come available (after giving your name) and expect to get messy (and love doing so). There are various a la carte options, including Lobster, Crab, and even Steak (this latter seems to be the least expensive item). But if you're planning on having a couple of additional items like a cup of chowder or dessert, consider doing the full all-you-can eat chowder and mussels dinner. I did. My spouse opted for Lobster a la carte and had a taste of my chowder. The cup of chowder and a generous bowl of mussels (and an empty pail) were delivered. The chowder was flavourful and contained a fair bit of seafood, it also was not overly thickened with flour. The mussels were fresh and I enjoyed polishing off what I was served. Our server came back to see if I wanted more of either but I decided it was wiser for me to just move on to the lobster. The lobster was about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds as advertised and was already cracked. Claws off the body, tail taken off and split. Plus there was a nut cracker and a tool for getting meat out of tight places. Our server helped us into our disposable bibs and we got to work. The lobster was flavourful and we enjoyed the challenge of extracting and consuming each morsel. Dinner was finished off with dessert. My was rhubarb crumble and my spouse chose blueberry. I think mine was better, there was of course added sugar but not so much that the tartness of the rhubarb as overwhelmed. The blueberry was a little to sweetened for my taste. We fairly waddled out after supper. Fresh seafood is never cheap but I feel like we got value for our dinner dollars.

Yelp
Food was amazing, chowder full of fish, the mussels- couldn't get enough! Snowcrab rounded out the seafood, then chocolate cake for dessert! Impressive collection that will not disappoint!!

Ed S.

Yelp
Slowww service. All you can eat was how much time are you willing to wait for them to bring out another couple mussels or cup of watery soup. Really had our hearts set on this place and eating well. Went to rusty anchor next night and prices were better, food was better, service was better, and the serving, while not all you can eat, was filling!!

Yelp
Five Star facility. Our first stop this visit to Cape Breton. Food, service, generous portions for lobster selection entre. We definitely felt we got our money's worth!!!!

Yelp
Fresh and delicious seafood offerings. We had the lobster and salmon, both were cooked perfectly. Great service as well.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! We had a great server and we had someone who wasn't our server that treated our child with kindess. She sat on the floor with her and interacted her. And EVERYONE was kind there. We would go back. The food was good. The lobster was fresh. Our sever was prompt and friendly. The place was full so food came out at a slow pace. But really the best bang for your buck here. Everything was fresh and tasty. One of the few places that offered king crab legs. So I tried them and they were delicous. And they included lovely dessert and coffee or tea. I would definately eat here again.

Julia K.

Yelp
service is great be prepared to wait However 42$ for a lobster that I couldn't cut with a knife I won't go again they have steak, salmon, crab, lobster for entree all are 42 $ sides of chowder great oat cakes with buns they are complimentary

Yelp
Simple menu. Very very good chowder - loaded with seafood. Lobster was well priced and good. The desserts are great. We had the best coconut crème pie. The blueberry crisp was excellent too. We got there at 6 on a Tuesday and got seated right away. By 7 the line was out the door. More seating than Freight Shed.
google avatar

Elaine K.

Yelp
The wait staff was nice and very attentive! We got there at 5:30 on Thursday and got seated immediately. It's a good thing we were early, because a line formed out the door afterwards. We had a bucket of steamed mussels for an appetizer that were very good. Then we had the Lobster Dinner! It was very good and very filling! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the Baddeck area!

Yelp
I'm giving this five stars based on the experience we had our first night there. We had a waitress who was simply wonderful -- she was attentive, she was helpful, she made great suggestions. I'm kicking myself that I don't know her name, but she was probably in her 40's-50's, short reddish brown hair and absolutely fantastic. The food was very good, but having this waitress took the whole experience to a new level. My husband had the mussels, I had the chowder, and we both had lobsters. Everything was perfectly cooked and really tasty. We had terrific lemon meringue pie for dessert. The biscuits and oatcakes that come with the meal are to die for and we appreciated having refills of both. We went back again two nights later and the food was once again great. My husband repeated his meal and I had the crab legs. They were tender and very meaty. The downside was that we had a different waitress, named April. She may have been overworked that night, but she was very inattentive. She never replenished our bread basket or water, never came back to check on our meals (we both needed more butter and had to flag another waitress to get it), and was generally kind of indifferent to waiting on us. Everyone gets a bad night, and I'm certainly not going to hold it against the restaurant, but it left us feeling very deflated after the wonderful time we'd had two nights earlier. I highly recommend this restaurant for great seafood and, if you go, look around for a waitress with short reddish-brown hair and ask to be seated in her section. It will make a huge difference in your night!

Yelp
My friend and I have been travelling all through cape Breton and all she wanted was snow Crab. So when we reached baddeck she found this place. I was hesitant based on the price but she really wanted her crab. I really had high expectations based on the price alone. Let me start by saying the service was great. Friendly. Welcoming. Helpful. My friend loved her crab. I had the salmon which was a tad over cooked but good. It came with basic boiled baby potatoes that could've used some seasoning. Again our server Sarah was great. But it was just a little expensive for what you got!
google avatar

Yelp
Went inside and was warmly greeted then sat down to have the mussels and a lobster dinner followed by a blueberry cobbler. The bread selection consisted of Scottish oatcakes and biscuit & I had to have both. Such a tender biscuit! Next our bowl of mussels was tasty and very simply steamed. It was delicious with a home-cooked feeling (simple and ungarnished), just like most of the restaurants in N.S. Our server was attentive and prompt with everything, bringing out lobster soon after we ate the last mussel. I was shown by my fiance how to get the most meat out of the shells but I was not very fast and soon most of it was cold. The sides offered a trio sampler and was healthy and fresh! Still delicious. Dessert was Ok. Could have baked it more for a crispy topping. I've tried a few good restaurants in Nova Scotia and this one was in between, not my favourite but good enough. One other plus is it's located by the lake

Yelp
Very fresh seafood : lobster, snow crab, mussels. The food comes out in 5 mins and they are all pre cracked for you. The restaurant gives a very homey feel, they have s cute origin story of how they got started. Located right by the water and all food locally sourced. The wait stuff are nice but the guests not so much as seems like a lot of tourists and some are just rude. Overall good experience, fresh fast seafood $32 for lobster $32 for snow crab $42 for all you can eat
google avatar

Diane G.

Yelp
The wait was almost an hour and I was at the front of the line! The lobster was not drained so everything was wet and messy. Not much meat and almost tasteless. Very small portion of melted butter which only briefly stayed warm.
google avatar

Mary H.

Yelp
My husband and I just finished an outstanding dinner. From start to finish, everything was excellent. We had the all you can eat dinner with cedar plank salmon and lobster as the main course. Seafood chowder, mussels, homemade biscuits and oat cakes, sides of salad/coleslaw/potatoes. Dessert was rhubarb strawberry and apple crisp. I am very picky about baked goods and these were as good or better than what I can make and I am an excellent baker! I would definitely return here again and wish this restaurant was not so far from our home in San Francisco.
google avatar

Lee M.

Yelp
Had a great view of the water and service was warm and friendly. They give you this delightful basket of bread to start. The biscuits were melt in your mouth good as was the sweet oat "cookies". We ordered the bucket of mussels and the lobster dinner. The mussels were fresh and sweet and you could dip them in butter if you really want to. Lobster dinner was a fresh and sweet lobster that came with cucumber tomato salad, potato salad, and coleslaw. Of course we had to make room for dessert of Strawberry rhubarb crumble and lemon meringue pie. We then waddled back to the car for the drive home. Love this place and highly recommend it!!

Yelp
No ability to serve folks. Called ahead, arrived on time. Then waited while the staff couldn't figure out how to put tables together to fit our party. Left in frustration.

Yelp
Been passing by here on my way to ferry for 30 yrs and finally stopped! Order the lobster and it comes with fresh rolls and a drink and all you can eat chowder mussels !! Both fantastic ! Chowder is more like seafood chowder because it has lots of pieces of lobster and fish in it ! Comes with desert too ! Can't get this meal at red lobster in Ontario for this price lol
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
Our experience was great!! Our waitress was above & beyond , very attentive & timely in serving the different courses. We had all you can eat muscles, 1st course; then as much seafood chowder 2nd course , then lobster (1-1:4 lbs.) with potato salad, Cole slaw & green salad with a non alcoholic drink of you choice for main course. Finished with dessert, coffee or tea. All included in meal price of $45. It just doesn't get any better!!
google avatar

Eddie F.

Yelp
Amazing service and amazing food. Coconut pie was the best I've ever had. Service was efficient and quick and the food got out one after another with no issues.
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
Asian beware! The thin, mid-aged, grumpy-faced waitress is RACIST!!! She did NOT want to serve our table - our family includ. my three-year-old were ditched with no water, no food, no service after 1.5 hour wait! We spent over $100 and felt humiliated!!!
google avatar

Jenny W.

Yelp
The first ones into the restaurant, we had our choice of tables with excellent views. The server was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. We ordered the "all you can eat" selection which included unlimited mussels and seafood chowder along with your choice of entree, a non-alcoholic beverage and dessert for $45. The mussels were plentiful (my husband had a refill, I did not), and both of us had refill cups of the chowder which contained large pieces of fish, lobster, and shrimp (which I'm guessing is not local). My husband ordered the lobster which was cracked and cleaned for him; I ordered the snow crab, which was two clusters of decent sized legs. Dessert was strawberry rhubarb crisp (minus the ice cream which was offered) and lemon merengue pie--not too thrilled with dessert, but the dinners were great.
google avatar

Vincent M.

Yelp
Worth the wait. And be sure you will wait. Compared to other lobster suppers this place was way better. Better atmosphere with a nicer feel and wait staff. Good craft beers. The seafood chowder hadn't clams but was tasty and thick with fish. The mussels were amazing. Best we've had this trip. And lobster of course was perfect.
google avatar

Octavia B.

Yelp
This place is fabulous! Best place to eat in the area for straight up fresh lobster, mussels, oysters, and crab! The small side dishes are lovely and compliment the seafood! Service was so fast and friendly! Try to make this spot a must!
google avatar

Una L.

Yelp
My friend recommended us to try this place for lobster supper. There was a long line up when we got to the restaurant. However, the food here totally worth the wait time and I have to say this place is a hidden gem for lobster and other seafood meals on the island!!
google avatar

S J.

Yelp
This small town dinner gets everything right. The food, the atmosphere and staff are all firing on all cylinders. This is a not to be missed outing if you happen to be in Baddeck. My son had the Atlantic Salmon because the has a shellfish allergy and the staff were great about ensuring this food was not cross-contaminated. I had the lobster which was good. For me, the best part were the endless mussel served as starter. These were the best mussels I had in a 10 day trip packed with seafood. Served in a simple butter and garlic sauce, they were perfect. There was pie for dessert, but after tasting the mussels I decided to have a second bucket of them instead. Do not be put off by the line-ups, this is a very efficient place and they manage the crowds well.

Yelp
We visited this restaurant for dinner during our stay in Baddeck. It came highly recommended by the staff at our local inn. The interior is a large open space with simple furnishings. When our server brought over a bunch of bibs for the table, I knew they meant serious business with their seafood. We got a bucket of mussels to share, and a lobster each for the table. Their prices are high compared to elsewhere we've tried around Cape Breton. So if you're really hungry, I recommend ordering their "all you can eat" over ordering à la carte. All the seafood was very fresh; the bucket of mussels was truly a full bucket of mussels (quite the generous serving); a couple of the lobsters was a tiny bit overcooked; flavors are bland (very much "fresh catch" taste over fancy culinary flavors). Our server was very helpful. But the lady at the register had a lukewarm attitude, only gave a half-hearted smile at best when she saw the 20% tip we left with zero thanks or greetings - I hope she's doing okay & is having a better day in the future.

Julie H.

Yelp
Was looking forward to this dining event with friends & was a bit disappointed. It seemed way too crowded for the servers to be able to be attentive. Felt rushed as there was a hoard of hungry people waiting at the entrance. Maybe plan on going extra early for breathing room. Pail of steamed mussels arrived to share at the table. Sides included a coffee cup of tasty fish chowder & side salad medley. Lobster was pre-cracked & served with melted butter. Wish we had lobster crackers to use. Plastic tablecloth & bibs were fashionable as well as helpful! Friends had the salmon & the steak options- said they were tasty. Recommend skipping the ginger cake w lemon sauce & enjoy the apple pie instead.
google avatar

Corey M.

Yelp
Great value. Excellent service. Can't go wrong here. All you can eat is the way to go. Desserts all made in-house...would return without hesitation.

Yelp
We came from Fort Louisbourg Cape Breton NS with my niece, her husband and 4 children. My sister and I sat with two of the children and enjoyed our lobster dinner. Children's menu so bases were covered and great nephew enjoyed a large steak with fries and drink. Plenty of lobster for me for 1lb3/4 and brought home "body" for $28.00 Canadian. My sister had the full all you can eat lobster with mussels and seafood chowder. Desert and great vanilla ice cream. $38.00 CA Thanks Angie for being so kind and a great waitress. Side note call ahead if party larger than six since place is packed by 6 pm. Manager may not relay message to hostess.

Yelp
I am pretty picky so 5 star rating from me is pretty unusual. This place deserves it and so much more! Great service, excellent food, and great views. A must visit in Cape Breton! I found it on TripAdviser and Yelp so decided to stop in. The food choices are Lobster, crab legs, planked cooked salmon, and steak. Dinner is all you can eat and includes chowder, mussels, desert and non alcohol drinks. I liked this place so much I ate here on the first and last days of my trip. Food was the best here than anywhere else on my trip throughout Cape Breton. Mussels were very fresh as was the chowder. The lobster and salmon were amazing however! Best salmon in my life. The desert is different every night I think but I highly recommend the fruit crisp with ice-cream (don't forget to ask for it heated though). I will definitely be back next time I visit Cape Breton!

Tracey S.

Yelp
Wow, what an amazing meal! My family and I stopped in. I had the steak and my husband and son had the lobster. All fresh and cooked well with very tasty sides. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Beautiful scenery as well. You gotta eat here!!!
google avatar

Bonnie M.

Yelp
Kind of a tourist trap. We were informed the moment we walked in the door that we couldn't do the all-you-can-eat because it was "too late". It was an hour before closing time. My husband didn't care about gorging himself, but he did have a lobster, a bowl of chowder, a beer, and a dessert, which priced separately came to more than it would have on the all-you-can-eat menu. You would think that they would have priced it that way, but they didn't. I had the grilled strip loin steak which I asked for medium rare. It was medium well to well done. I ate it because I was starving and our waitress never did a callback to see if our meals were ok. Iced tea and waters never got refilled. Staff was too busy sweeping and mopping the other section of the restaurant that was empty to pay attention to the customers in the section that was still full!
google avatar

Chad T.

Yelp
Absolutely great place. They do a few things but they do them extremely well. We had the all you can eat lobster and everything was good. Our server really hustled and got us plate after plate of clams which were awesome. Everything was amazingly fresh. If you find yourself in this part of the world I highly recommend you check this place out.
google avatar

Kathy P.

Yelp
Great food. I chose the lobster that came with a salad plate. My husband chose the lobster dinner that included seafood chowder, unlimited mussels (my husband loved them!!!) and dessert for $50 Canadian. The lobster was excellent. He said the seafood chowder was average. He kept eating the musssels, before and after dinner. Said they were amazing. We sat on the enclosed porch which was nice. The other part of the restaurant is more of a dining hall. My husband had the Bloody Caesar and though it was a great Bloody Mary. I had wine which was fine. Our server,Jolene, was very nice as were the other guests around us. Would definitely recommend. Would have give 5 stars but took off for the dining room atmosphere and chowder. They also had some shortbread squares that they serve with the bread- I ate 6 of them! The strawberry rhubarb crumble is served hot and is so good. Wow. We got here right before a bus load of 40 arrived. Come here- you will love it if you like fresh seafood and homemade dessert!
google avatar

Wutan F.

Yelp
Service was great. Parking available! Lobster was sooooo yum. Fast service. Drinks were really good too. Would love to come back.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
This was a great place for all you can eat mussels and seafood chowder. Chowder was not that impressive but the tasty, fresh mussels made up for it.

Filippo A.

Yelp
Is this great food? No. Is it decent value for the money? Yes. The salmon was very well received. The accompanying veggies and potatoes were pretty good. The lobster was pretty good, a decent value. It was served lukewarm, which was too bad. The lobster was tasty, but that has nothing to do with how it was cooked. The sides were so-so. For a place that calls itself a Lobster Dinner restaurant, you'd expect this one dish to hit it out of the park. The clam chowder was ok, by far not the best I've had in 2 weeks in Nova Scotia. That's disappointing. All in all, an ok experience. But nothing great. If you want that one, awesome lobster meal while you are in Atlantic Canada, this doesn't feel like it is that.
google avatar

Trevor B.

Yelp
Really slow service, warm- not hot food, never got the all you can eat as they ran out and service to price was not fitting better to keep driving
google avatar

Yelp
Baddeck Lobster Suppers has signs about 20 kilometers back of lobster with all you can eat sides, that include mussels, chowder and biscuits. I went here with my mother after a trip around the Cabot trail and I was overall, very impressed with one of the most uniquely flavored, wild-caught salmons I've ever had. But I digress. The price here is outrageous, but it IS a tourist spot and has been open since '87. The main question being, are you getting what you pay for? Uh... yes. It's fresh, and by fresh I mean, I think these people literally go out in the morning to get the food because my salmon was definitely wild caught and my mother's lobster was pretty tasty. The salmon I had, which I would highly recommend, came with this sort of sweet, a little tangy, and yet just right sauce that had a hint of tangerine flavor and a mix of a bunch of stuff I can't quite describe as a sensational masterpiece that enters your mouth and makes you wonder if this is what salmon is supposed to taste like... Yeah... it's that Good! The system here is a bit odd, since you pay before you sit down. The wait staff was really nice and helpful, they know the short menu and can explain things out to you very well. They make great recommendations and know how to keep you happy. If you order the unlimited sides, expect for them to make sure your getting your money's worth (WARNING: They WILL attempt to FATTEN YOU UP! (I'm not sure if their cannibals though, so take heed not to become a porker after your meal) ). Expect to pay between $25-30 a person, not including tip. Atmosphere is pretty standard, nothing special. It has a lot of seating available though. Only annoying thing is trying to leave, since there was a crowd of hippies surrounding the door, which is right next to were you pay as your enter.

Yelp
Just had dinner here. We chose this place from Yelp reports and "foodie" from San Francisco yelp. We are San Diego folks who enjoy interesting local menu and good service. Service was good. Our waitress very attentive. However, we both ordered all you can eat entrees. Wife had lobster entree and I had salmon. We thought the mussels were quite good but chowder very disappointing. Couldn't finish either of our servings. The salmon was good but I have done better on home bbq. Her lobster was just ok. We had better fresh from docks. Desserts ordinary. We only had one beer and check came to $94 US. Kind of pricey for what we had. Buyer beware!

Yelp
This was our favorite place while traveling around NS. It is sort of a VFW with seafood. Nothing fancy but a real pig out sort of a place. We had to wait out in the parking lot for a table with about ten other people but got a table in a reasonable amount of time. The lobster is very good and they crack it up so you don't have to. We also got a big bucket of clams which none of us have ever had before and had a blast eating them. We are now hooked on them. Some places you order them by the pound others by the bucket. Try them if you have the chance. The NS lobster season ends in April unlike the US where it is open until I think October but there are still fresh ones in tanks and flash frozen. These were as good as it gets regardless of when they were caught. Don't miss this place. It is fun.

Yelp
Went here on a whim, to check out the lobster supper. We checked out the menu and figured that we would go with the All You Can Eat option. WOW! We had a bread basket to start with a delicious bowl of chowder, followed by a real true bucket of mussels. We were then asked if we wanted more of either the chowder or mussels. Then they brought out a plate with the lobster and a second plate with the three types of salad. The lobster was cooked to perfection and cracked for us. To top off the meal they brought us our coffee and choice of deserts. Tons of food, all very tasty and excellent value for the money. We will be making the trip again to Cape Breton and this will definitely be on our list of places to go to again.

Yelp
Clam chowder was more watery than creamy. Good and full of hearty pieces. After we finished eating the waitress took roughly 45 minutes to clear our plates, when neighboring tables got water and more attentive service. We didn't order any alcohol nor did all of us order the full 'all you can eat' dinner special. Food arrived fast, but waitress disappeared for rest of the night.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly staff, short wait since we had reservations, excellent food and great prices! Screened outdoor seating. Ordered the all you can eat buffet salmon entrée with dessert and coffee. Would definitely recommend it to anyone going this way to visit.

After a long day out on the Cabot Trail my fiancé and I decided to stop in and have dinner here. We both got the all-you-can-eat dinners. One lobster and one crab dinner. If you are hungry this is the way to go! You basically get one seafood of your choice then unlimited mussels and seafood chowder. Seafood chowder was ok - Wasn't my favourite. The mussels were small but with unlimited amount it definitely can fill you up. In general it was just simple seafood that was cooked really well. Sometimes simple is better especially when you are just looking for a good seafood fix! You will also need to work for your food a bit because you will need to crack open your own lobster/ crab but well worth it. Meal also comes with coffee/ tea and dessert. Desserts were made in house and were delicious! Staff were very nice as well despite it being very very busy. If you don't get there early you will definitely be waiting a while.
