Yelp
Baddeck Lobster Suppers has signs about 20 kilometers back of lobster with all you can eat sides, that include mussels, chowder and biscuits. I went here with my mother after a trip around the Cabot trail and I was overall, very impressed with one of the most uniquely flavored, wild-caught salmons I've ever had.
But I digress.
The price here is outrageous, but it IS a tourist spot and has been open since '87. The main question being, are you getting what you pay for? Uh... yes. It's fresh, and by fresh I mean, I think these people literally go out in the morning to get the food because my salmon was definitely wild caught and my mother's lobster was pretty tasty.
The salmon I had, which I would highly recommend, came with this sort of sweet, a little tangy, and yet just right sauce that had a hint of tangerine flavor and a mix of a bunch of stuff I can't quite describe as a sensational masterpiece that enters your mouth and makes you wonder if this is what salmon is supposed to taste like... Yeah... it's that Good!
The system here is a bit odd, since you pay before you sit down. The wait staff was really nice and helpful, they know the short menu and can explain things out to you very well. They make great recommendations and know how to keep you happy. If you order the unlimited sides, expect for them to make sure your getting your money's worth (WARNING: They WILL attempt to FATTEN YOU UP! (I'm not sure if their cannibals though, so take heed not to become a porker after your meal) ).
Expect to pay between $25-30 a person, not including tip.
Atmosphere is pretty standard, nothing special. It has a lot of seating available though. Only annoying thing is trying to leave, since there was a crowd of hippies surrounding the door, which is right next to were you pay as your enter.
