Bademiya Kebab Restaurant

I recently visited Bademiya for dinner, and it was a fantastic experience! This iconic restaurant truly lives up to its reputation for serving delicious food. The highlight of my meal was the **Chicken Bhuna**, which was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Pairing it with their soft and fresh **Rumali Roti** made it even better—it’s a combination I highly recommend. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, which added to the positive experience. What makes Bademiya special is the unique vibe it offers at night. The lively atmosphere, with the bustling energy of Colaba around you, creates a memorable dining experience. Whether you’re sitting at a table or enjoying their famous street-side service, the ambiance is perfect for a fun and casual meal. If you’re in Mumbai, Bademiya is a must-visit, especially at night. The food is incredible, the service is great, and the vibe is something you don’t want to miss. Perfect for a night out with friends or family!

Taste of the food was bit good but quantity is very less In main course must try item is chicken bhuna And also try dessert shahi tukda and pherni.. tastes so delicious And veg food items taste was not good .. not a good place for vegetarians to visit

Visited this particular outlet of Bademiya as it has proper seating arrangements, unlike its main restaurant at Gateway. Ambiance is decent, waiting time is observed on weekends. Had their Mutton Seekh Kebab after a long time and taste was maintained. However prices are too steep, it was priced approx 400+ for 3 thin seekh kebabs. Chicken Bhuna tasted good as well but there was excess oil used and again quantity was an issue. Roomali Roti and Reshmi Paratha tasted nice and Onion Salads were good side compliment to the dishes. Service is a hit and miss as well. Overall, I love the food here but prices are too steep because of its name, and price to quantity ratio is not great. Cheers!

Had some Bhuna Chicken with Roti and then Shahi Tukda for dessert. Everything was delicious. The curry could have been less oily. Service was good. One unique aspect about the restaurant was their washroom - it had a plastic seat cover which could be replaced at the click of a button. Probably a first during all my travels.

The excessive use of oil overpowered the dish, masking the expected robust blend of spices that defines a good chicken curry. • The flavor profile lacked depth, with an absence of the rich, slow-cooked taste that typically characterizes this dish. 2. Paneer Tikka Masala: • Similar to the chicken curry, the paneer tikka masala was excessively oily. • The paneer itself was decent in texture but lacked the smoky, marinated flavor that makes this dish stand out. The gravy was bland, failing to bring out the balance of tanginess and spice. 3. Chicken Tikka Biryani: • The biryani was average at best. • While the chicken pieces were tender, the rice lacked the aromatic punch of spices typically expected in a biryani. It felt like the dish was missing the balance of saffron, fried onions, and ghee that elevate a biryani from ordinary to exceptional. Overall Experience The meal was underwhelming, especially given Bademiyan’s reputation. The excessive oil in the dishes and lack of robust flavors indicate either a rushed preparation or a compromise on quality. The chicken tikka biryani, though decent, didn’t compensate for the lackluster curries.

As a south indian travelling to Mumbai wanted to enjoy some street food but accidentally ended up here. Loved their kebab also chicken curry was my favourite, bit crowded, service was decent not much to talk about ambience. Overall a good experience in Mumbai trying something at an old joint.

Price is a bit on the high side due to its location in the touristic area but the food and the service is totally worth it. The mutton and chicken seekh khebabs as well as the chicken bhuna roll are the absolute classics and must try when you are in the Colaba area. Service is also friendly and very quick.

The place is soo authentic and clean and the foodd is really really delicious and honestly it’s not expensive for what i’ve ordered with my mother! The waiter was super friendly and really recommended very delicious plates and dessert
