El Badi Palace

An interesting place with historical significance to visit. There is a lot of construction work going on. The pool is completely covered. This means there isn’t so much to see at the moment.

This palace is a beautiful gem within the city. The intricate tiles are absolutely stunning and really bring the whole place to life. A peaceful escape from the busy surroundings. Definitely worth a visit.

El Badi Palace has an entrance fee of 100 Moroccan dirhams, which feels quite expensive for a site that is largely in ruins, especially since payment is only possible in cash or online in advance. The overall experience was further diminished by the lack of well-preserved areas. Apart from the underground museum, there isn’t much to see beyond the ruins themselves. While the historical significance is clear, limited attractions, and the price makes the visit rather disappointing and not necessarily worth it.

Not worth the visit at the moment. The entrance fee is quite high for a site that is largely under construction. Aside from some ruins and a few underground displays, there isn't much to explore. You can see the best part—the walls—from the outside for free. Skip this one until the renovations are finished.

Loved this place and its history. Great art exhibition as well. The cranes are a bit of a treat of you go in the winter. Toilets are questionable however…

El Badi Palace is interesting from a historical perspective, and the ruins give a good sense of the palace’s former grandeur. The vast open spaces are pleasant, and it’s worth a short visit if you’re nearby. That said, the 100 dirhams entrance fee feels overpriced for what is left to see today. With limited structures, the experience does not fully justify the cost.

El Badi Palace offers a striking look at Marrakech’s grand history. Its vast ruins, sunlit courtyards, and resident storks create a dramatic atmosphere. Though largely in ruins, the scale and stories behind it make the visit both impressive and unforgettable.

A good visit however perhaps lacking in proper information about certain features. The palace is exactly as pictures suggest, but despite this it is a wonderful place, and with not so many visitors you can get great photos.
