Yelp
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch during our Tuscany tour in May 2022. The restaurant is perched on the hill with a beautiful view and serves outstanding food. I ordered the Stuffed and Roasted Duck Leg as the main dish and joyed it thoroughly.

Yelp
My wife and I visited this beautiful Abbey at the beginning of September. As our flight was delated, we arrived past 1130pm but the restaurant staff was so kind to leave a full dinner in our appartment. The granaio appartment was clean and well furnished, and the breakfast the day after our arrival very good. Friendly staff served us scambled eggs, prosciutto and cheese, excellent house made focaccia and pizza, a spinach and prosciutto puff pastry pie, fresh fruit and yogurt..and a milion other items. Coffee service at the same level of a bar..cappuccino, latte and all you can ask for, juices etc. My wife broke a tooth and the reception found for us a dentist the very day. Stunning to say, dentist performed a clean up and temporary repair for free!!!! We also joined the tour and tasting, which was hosted in a tasteful room. Concierge again helped us booking a wine tasting at Volpaia our last day. A part the restaurant needs to be mentioned. Riccardo Giorgi, manager at the restaurant, offered us the most friendly and professional service I have ever received in my entire career of hospitality and food and beverage manager. Service was attentive but not invasive, we asked for items off the luch menu such as a big juicy chianina steak, he made it happen. Wine tasting was offered by the house. I shall mention that we booked the granaio room not being aware than it can host up to 2 families. When we casually mentioned this to the receptionist, we were given 50% off. I have been manager in the industry for over 35 years and I have never received such professional and attentive service. Stop to visit the pretty shop at the beginning of the road that takes you to the abbey..you will find the same quality. We will be back

Yelp
Amazing experience. My boyfriend and I were staying in the adjacent monastery and after our wine tour, we had dinner at the restaurant. Funny - we made reservations but literally we were the only people in the spacious restaurant. We were allowed to sit anywhere so we chose near the window so we could have a view of the mountains and the distant city lights, but there was also an intimate fireplace warming up the restaurant. We went for the tasting menu along with the wine pairings - oh boy it was a lot of wine in the end haha. But each made to order food did take a while, our dinner lasted between 2-3 hours which was fine since we were there for the agritourism anyway and were staying at the hotel. We had a bean and pesto plate, soup, wild boar pasta, a meat dish, and dessert - very filling and delicious. The wine was enticing as well. The hotel took care of us and was very welcoming and understanding. They even upgraded our room for free! My favorite part was walking through the beautiful garden. One of the favorite stops in Italy!

Yelp
My wife and I drove here while we were staying in Siena. We came for the wine and stayed for the food. We ordered a pasta dish (vegetarian) and an eggplant lasagna. The pasta dish was a bit too el dente for my taste and the sauce had a bit of a sweet taste to it. I'm not a fan of sweet flavors in anything but dessert so this wasn't up my alley. The eggplant dish was great, though. Well cooked, good flavor, and light. Perfect for a light lunch after all the carbs we were eating through Italy. The wine was amazing. Great selections, very helpful staff in selecting what was good and what to try. Would recommend to check this winery out if you have time!

Yelp
We had dinner at the restaurant while staying at Badia. The food and the vibe of this place exceeded our expectations. The food was farm-to-table and absolutely amazing, we liked everything (including house-made bread, pasta, and olive oil) but the biggest surprise for me was venison tartare (locally hunted). It was divine! The Badia 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva was my favorite wine in all of Tuscany (we did quite a lot of wine tasting in Tuscany). The views were magical (see my photos). The staff was great, extra shout out to Martina and Fadi (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly). I really hope to return and highly recommend the restaurant (and staying at the abbey next door).

Yelp
Creative & Delicious! Made it under the wire for an amazing lunch (serving till 2:30) Every dish we ordered was a winner. Since pictures are worth more than words here's two - A wonderful panzanella salad with rolled roasted eggplant & a crunchy reconstruction of lasagna with zuccini and pesto - both excellent. Add a bottle of their 2014 Classico and you have a perfect light, tasty lunch.

Yelp
The wild boar ragout was one of the best pasta dishes I had in Italy and in my life! Staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience.
