The resort is very beautiful and secluded. The staff here is very very helpful and very polite and very professional as well. The food is here amazing as well. We tried the spa which was very relaxing as well. A little overpriced but with the views and services offered, you can neglect the pricing. A gem resort

The Badian Resort is best for the secluded getaway or just a quiet rest.  You must get yourself by taxi or other vehicle to their pick-up pier where you be greeted by someone from their security team.  He will verify you are expected and call one of their speedy water taxis and in 5 minutes you will arrive on the island where you will be met by one of their friendly staff.  I was given a welcome flower to wear.  I was quickly checked in, then personally escorted to my cabana.  The room was very attractive, clean, safe, well laid out, quiet, roomy, and comfortable.  Note:  the room (my room) had neither teIevision nor phone - which was fine by me.  WiFi was great.  Cellular was zero.  Yes, this is secluded.  I arrived too late to use their pool, which closes at 5pm.  Had a great dinner there with a large selection to order from.  Breakfast was good, but not as good as dinner.  The Badian’s grounds are fairly large.  There didn’t seem to be other businesses or places to go on this island, so the focus is the resort.  I liked it very much and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking a laid back experience.

We recently stayed at Badian Island Wellness Resort and had a mixed experience. The resort is situated on a tranquil island, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful landscapes and friendly staff. Our arrival was warmly welcomed, and the food was great, with a variety of delicious dishes. However, there were several aspects that fell short of our expectations. The expansive property lacks transportation options like carts, making it challenging to roam around, especially with luggage. While the staff assisted in carrying our belongings, the absence of convenient transport made it less accessible, particularly for seniors. The walk from the reception to our room took over five minutes, often uphill, which was inconvenient, especially during our midday checkout under the scorching sun. Additionally, the rooms lacked telephones, making communication with the reception difficult. Given the distance, walking back and forth for inquiries was impractical. We resorted to calling the mobile numbers listed on their website, however, two were unreachable, and only one was functional. Their Facebook page was unresponsive on Sundays due to office closure, further complicating communication. On a positive note, the resort's serene environment is ideal for those seeking tranquility. We stayed in a family suite, which was satisfactory and provided a comfortable stay.

This resort is peaceful and relaxing but there are a few drawbacks. The water isn't clear enough to swim. There's no telephone in the room. When asked how we can contact in case we need something, the front desk staff said to use WhatsApp to communicate. The AC didn't cool the room and I tried several times calling and messaging via WhatsApp but no reply until I brought it to one of the waitresses' attention when dining for lunch as the main lobby is about 5-8 minutes walk from our room. After that, I received quick responses from the team. Their business hours is only til 10pm or 11pm, therefore, I questioned in the event of an emergency, this would be a challenge for the guests who stay here. There aren't much to do here except relaxing; not even a gym. The rooms and facilities are outdated. This entire property needs renovation. This may be one of the reasons for the slow volume. Furthermore, local residents are burning trash daily in the area as a quick why of disposing trash but not realizing how this impact the environment. It was hard for us to enjoy our private villa pool and even outside during the day because of the strong smell. Otherwise, the staff are friendly and attentive.

This is a very quiet and peaceful resort so if you want lots of action or activities it's probably not your place. ||We drove down from Cebu and were able to park our car on a private lot near the jetty for P250 per day. Once you arrive at the jetty, they radio for a boat from the resort to pick you up. Because the resort was so quiet we chose to go out each day and paid P800 per couple for a return boat trip. ||The room was large and comfortable. Be aware it's not a place for long sleep ins due to the natural light and birds which are guaranteed to have you up bright and early. The rooms have no TV but the wifi was good and OK for streaming.||The grounds are really large and very pretty, and the views are gorgeous. Breakfast was one of three choices from a set menu and the food was fine. ||Overall, we had a good stay, I wouldn't say great simply because the resort was a little quiet for our liking, but it is a wellness resort and I'm sure it's designed that way and a lot of people will like it.

Overall, the resort is great. It’s private and lives up to the “wellness” in their name. In addition, the staff are very courteous and polite. HOWEVER, we left our 3 day-stay with disappointment. We paid an extra ₱2,500 (per pet) to bring our pets for the whole stay. We also paid ₱10,000 as security deposit (this was relatively higher than most resorts, believed it was most probably because we had our 2 furbabies with us). No big deal, we paid our dues. Dinner came and since pets are not allowed in the Panorama restaurant, we had to dine in our room but they’ll charge 10% service charge. Just bear this in mind when you want to bring pets and can’t leave them alone in the room. The rooms do not live up to the hype especially when it comes to airconditioning. Their AC units are severely underpowered compared to the big size of their rooms. The only time we felt the room was cold was in the early mornings. If you plan on staycationing, maybe look for another resort as it does get warm in the room especially at noon. Wifi was extremely slow as well. We averaged only 5mbps. Thankfully, we had an LTE connection on our cellphones.

We came to the hotel yesterday on a day pass. It was 1200 which included 600 on consumables. It was an amazing day. The staff made it incredible from start to finish. From security organising the boat, reception being so friendly, amazing cocktails from the bar and a lovely time paddle boarding that evening (600 per board per hour). Special shout out to Ricky, Emgielyn, Marlito and Aljun for making our day so memorable
