Amazing food, super friendly service and a nice rustic German ambiance. My wife loves the Jägerschnitzel with Spätzle and I enjoyed the Maultaschen with Waldpilzen a lot. We shared a large Feldsalat as an appetizer and loved it. Second trip, because we enjoyed the first one so much, my wife had the same but I tried the Cordon Bleu, and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. Juicy and flavorful and home made. It was delicious. Already looking forward to round three, trying even more yummy foods.

We went there for a spontaneous family dinner (2 adults, 2 children) and had a very positive experience there. Unlike many restaurants where you are directly turned away if you didn't have a reservation, we were offered a table for a limited time, which was just perfect for our needs. The table service was exceptional and the meals sumptuous. The kids' menu had more variety than most places we have been to. The atmosphere was also very inviting and just right for the evening. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to dine to typical German food in a serene atmosphere, especially with the family or with friends.

A nice modern interpretation of "gutbürgerliche Küche" with multiple vegetarian (even vegan) options. When it's good enough weather, the beer garden out front is convivial. Reservations recommended on weekend evenings.

I was looking for a decent Schwabian restaurant near within 1 hour drive from Frankfurt (not all the way down to Stuttgart) and this one would definitely serve that purpose - their Maultaschen taste pretty good and the Herbst menu was diverse. Recommended!

The orange juice contained gas, which was an unpleasant surprise :( But the waiters were friendly and service fast, maybe even too fast as we were asked for the drinks while sitting on the table. This can be great for some, but we prefer looking at the menu before asking for things - drinks included. The dishes were great, especially the pasta with meat. I want to go back another day to upgrade it to 5 stars by not ordering the bad gas juice. I think we should have ordered the house made lemonade that was on the menu and signs, we just missed it!

Very good Hamburger. Extrmeley good. Nice place to have a beer. Super friendly staff. This place is very good. 4 stars because prices. Not expensive but could be maybe 10% lower.

This restaurant is delivering consistently perfect german food. I was there many time already and checked different meals from the menu. All are very delicious. The service is competent and very friendly. The best is their coffee. They own a Franke machine equipped with the foam master. Latte macchiato or cappuccino are a dream. A must! One of the best restaurants in the Heidelberg neighborhood!

Location: It's not exactly Heidelberg, but this is the place to be in Eppelheim. And it's a nice location. You can get there good by tram and also there are some parking lots available. This spot has a lot of space, so you can have your own space as an seperate group if you want. Everyhing looks clean and in place. Service: Havent seen a waiteress/waiter, who was not totally friendly and brought me my orders with a respectable speed. Food: Mostly local and german cuisine. The have a wide range of good food for flesh eater as well as vegetarians on their menue. I've been there 4 times so far, and everything had a very fresh and awesome taste. Even if I try some new dish every time, I've never been disappointed. Summary: If you find yourself in this area = go there for food. 5 Stars because I would go again there, when I come back to this area.

We walked in and they made a space for us even though we didn't have a reservation. The place was full and the atmosphere was great. Husband and I both got a classic German size beer. I had Jägerschnitzel my husband got a sausage and sauerkraut dish and my son had fried fish and fries. Everything was very very good

Great food, friendly staff, excellent prices, super variety of Badisches food. Go a couple of times and they'll remember your favorite drinks. Can fill up on Friday nights, but you can sit at the bar as well. Nice patio to watch the fine citizens of Eppelheim drive by. It's right across the street from the last stop on the 22 tram if you're coming from Heidelberg. Wonderful place.

Large variety menu. Excellent local German food. Friendly and fast service. The salads are homemade, fresh, large and tasty. I recommend you go there.

Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. You cannot miss this authentic and delicious gem. It is worth the minor excursion to the quaint small town.
