Khajuraho is a small town, and the dining options are limited. Badri Seth stands out because it is centrally located, clean and has a good range of veg fare.
We tried the simple thali and the one above the simple thali - the only difference being one extra veg item. The cooking is good, though nothing to go gaga about. The ambience is clean and welcoming, with simple decor, and attentive service
The dining area is in the basement. The entrance foyer contains a sweet shop run by the same management. There is a wide range of laddus and namkeen. We tried the gur laddus, khajur laddus and besan laddus. The gur and khajur varieties were tasty, with quite a bit of dry fruits in them. The besan laddu was too sweet for our taste.
