10 Best Food Trucks in Portland, OR | Condé Nast Traveler

"Opened in summer of 2018, this cozy pod, ringed with carts and anchored by the small, central Baerlic Brewing tap room (hence the name) serves as a much-needed food hall and community space in Rose City Park, an otherwise sleepy residential neighborhood. In a city where fast-paced development is squeezing out the little guys, it’s as if the owners have taken a firm stance in making sure there’s always a place for Portland’s iconic and groundbreaking food carts, which you'll find in spades here: There's Hapa PDX, which ladles up some of the best ramen in town, and Bing Mi, which brought crispy-crunchy-savory-sweet Chinese crêpes to Portland (and thus induced a cult following), plus Smakken, with its Dutch-style waffle sandwiches, and Flew the Coop, whose juicy, crispy Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is the stuff of legend." - Danielle Centoni

Love this pod. Really great environment with tons of great food trucks. The Baerlic bar has awesome beers and always very clean and great service! Come here whenever I'm in area! Update: Still one of my favorite Food pods in the area! Especially on a nice day! But nice inside on raining day.

Great atmosphere and good beer! We went on a Friday evening and we ordered an Arepa from the Venezuelan food cart (good Arepa and it matched with a beer we got from Baerlic Brewing). They had Halloween decorations (October), low hanging lights to help with the atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. Great music too. Busy and family friendly place.

A wonderful brewery out post and food cart pod. A much bigger spot than I expected when looking from the street. A nice variety of food carts, only half were open on a Sunday afternoon. I was really impressed with Bam Pow Burgers, excellent burger and the fries were cooked perfectly nice and crisp with a nice amount of salt. The tap list was nicely balanced with a surprisingly number of fresh hop options. The fresh hop never fresher pale ale along with the fresh hop stay fresh IPA were both excellent. The Eastside pilsner was nice and crisp. Beers to go and beer swag available.Indoor and outdoor seating options. Not too busy on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Fast friendly service. Street parking is the only option. Highly recommend a visit if you love good beer and food. I will be coming back.

10 food carts surrounding the satellite pour house for Baerlic Brewing in SE Portland. I've eaten at every food cart and all have something fun and unique to offer. The quality and variety of beer and other options in the house is wonderful. A bar inside and community tables inside has overflow outside to picnic tables with umbrellas and a huge high quality tent. There is also a chalkboard for children to enjoy adding to the very family friendly environ. While still having adult beverages

My husband and I have been here twice and both times we say how memorable the staff and vendors are here. We both have tried the fried chicken and Thai food food carts and both are so yummy. The other carts look interesting as well and plan to try those sometime soon. The staff in Baerlic are awesome! Always friendly and ready to provide a suggestion of their many great options for beverages. The seating arranage is perfect rain or shine - plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. We plan to hang out here more often this summer.

This place rocks. Such good food options and looks like they’re about to have a nice covered area out back. - if they made a shirt that said “you can Baerlic my balls” with Owen Wilson’s face I would definitely buy it

Good place to have a beer and eat with the food carts around the place. There are lots of different types of dishes, chilean ,Syria, Venezuelan, just to name a few , good interaction to have the whole experience, good options for sitting inside or outside , parking was available , felt safe and secure . Will go again a 4.5 as far need it more of the exposure to the outside .
