This place is awesome! I got the single garlic burger and it melted in my mouth. So delicious! Not exactly favorable of paying $10-15 for a smash burger. I also got the garlic parm fries. They were delicious at first, but became way too salted toward the bottom of the basket. I couldn’t finish them because of the salt. Atmosphere was clean and easy to navigate although they are in a small place. Definitely going back soon!

This is a great place. The staff was friendly and answered questions about the menu. The food didn't take too long and was hot when we received it. The fries are so good. The burgers are so delicious and taste fresh and just the right amount of seasoning. It was the right amount of food. I highly recommend Bae's Burgers and will go back again and again.

Very busy and small burger joint that has went viral on Instagram and Tik Tok. Great Smash Burgers but it can difficult patronizing this business due to the small restaurant space and limited parking around the downtown area. The smash burgers are delicious and cooked to perfection if you have the patience to deal with everything.

High level smash burger!!! Drove 45 mins in the rain to try it.. was told it was the #1 smash burger in NC. The burger lived up to the hype, also tried a classic hot dog and fries. I really enjoyed my experience, burger was great - hotdog (solid) - fries (decent). Bae's comes in at #1 smash burger, but #2 overall burger in all of NC.. This is solely based on personal preference. I give the nod to Harriet's Burger in Charlotte by just a smidge, better fries, better drink options, better special sauce. Would for sure visit again if I'm in the area.

simple non cluttered atmosphere. We were talked to right away and order taken, the woman that took our order was very personable. Food came out fast and it was packed. Everything was clean and a lady even took our plated away... only down side is no tomatoes but that is forgotten with how good the burger tastes... Great job

So, I’ve been following this restaurant’s IG account for a few months now and the time has come for my family and I to be able to try their burgers. We don’t eat fast food burgers, but will try restaurant burgers with good reviews. I had a nurses skill lab this day and after it ended, decided to drive 30 mins to this place. I was greeted as soon as I came in. The ambience inside was relaxing and chill. The person at the counter was helpful and patient as it was my first time to order from them. I basically dared my family at home without them knowing by ordering 3 of their double patty of “The Bae”, one double patty of “Bae’s Patty Melt”, one double patty of “The G.B.B.” (for my work lunch the next day), a medium regular fries, and a medium garlic parm fries. From placing the order to having it freshly cooked only took 10 mins, did not feel like I waited at all (also, it helped that I came after lunch hour rush). The fries were hot and the seasoning was on point. I took a bite of the burger before leaving the parking lot and had the same seasoning as the fries, but there was more seasoning plus their “Bae sauce” is a must try for fries and their burgers. This was my very first “smash burger” even though there’s a couple of so-called smash burger restaurants minutes away from my house but opted to try Bae’s instead. I live an hour away and trust I was munching on them hot fries. Luckily, the food was still warm when I got home. It would’ve taken me hour and a half if I was to drive from my house to this place. I think next time we will just order single patties as they fill you up good. The patties maybe smashed thin, but their actual size is bigger than my favorite potato bun brand (Martin’s). Highly recommend this place if you’re truly looking for that thin smash burger.

Man this place 🖤 highly recommended. Everything is fresh made to order. Even when they're busy they get food out fast. They're burgers are amazing! I do wish they had tomatoes but 10 out of 10. We drive from hickory at least two times a month just to get burgers lol The staff is very sweet, kind and attentive! If you haven't been Definitely go there!

The service is great. The people were friendly. The burgers and fries were delicious. I would recommend the double GBB with garlic Parmesan fries. The burger was juicy and the fries were great. The plain cheese burgers and fries are great also. I also got a side of ranch, spicy ranch and bae’s sauce all great. The sauce was extra but worth it. This place is small (limited sitting). The combos are about 16-20 per person but it is worth the money. I’m definitely going back.

I'd been wanting to try this place after I saw it on instagram and it did not disappoint! I love the smash style burgers, these patties were super thin and crispy. They seemed pretty salty but were still delicious. We tried the GBB burger which has garlic aioli, bacon, and cheese on it. It was very satisfying. Next time I would probably add lettuce and tomato to it to cut through how rich and salty the patties and cheese were. The regular cheeseburger also looked good. We got the garlic parm fries with the burger and a kids chicken tenders for my daughter which was tasty too. You also have to try the sauces, we had the honey mustard and spicy ranch and both went to well with the burger and fries. The place is pretty simple, with a counter to order food at, an open grill area right behind it, and some booths and tables, along with a few tables out front on the sidewalk too. Definitely recommend taking a trip to Morrison to try Bae's Burgers!

I'm impressed that Bae's Burgers in Mooresville actually appeared on a list of some of the best burgers in the COUNTRY. You can't ignore an accolade like that if you're a burger hound like me. My wife and I made the 45 minute drive on a beautiful day. Bae's is situated downtown amongst a bustling shopping Main Street. Parking might frustrate you but be patient, you'll find a spot on the street. Bae's is small with a limited menu. But burgers are their forte and what they are known for. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Be mindful sitting near the ordering counter, you'll feel squeezed as there is not much room for people to move by you. Bae's was quite busy and most of the tables were full. I ordered a double burger. I just rode 45 minutes and wanted all the meat. My wife got a single and we split some fries. Our food came out fairly quickly and was served hot. The burger was well-constructed and appealing. The hype is real. It was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. My wife agreed. The fries were standard fare crinkle cut but were also very good. This place is well worth treating yourself to. It's out of the way, a little expensive, but I don't mind paying for a good food. There are also a lot of shops in the area for you to walk off your meal. It made for a nice day trip. Check out Baes and see for yourself.

I'm from out of town and pulled up Yelp to find a place to have lunch at. OMG! The Burger is A M A Z I N G ! Don't bother going anywhere else The patty is perfection and the soft buns will make you drool

Awesome Burgers!!!!!! Everyone is so nice! And the place was very nice and in town Mooresville. Very convenient, even though we drove from out of town Lincolnton, North Carolina.

The burger was the little on the salty side but still delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Don't forget the garlic Parmesan french fries, I must have.

Saw a video saying this place the best smash burgers in North Carolina so had to pay them a visit. They are on a Main Street type road so parking was on street. There may be a lot behind. Upon entering you see they have a few tables for dine in. I was ordering take away so no seating for me. I tried to call and place my order but was informed they do not take orders over the phone. A bit odd. I was directed to the web to place my order. So, I pulled over on my drive and did so. It was an easy process. I got the Double Bae Burger and large fries. The burger was very good but was not "knock my socks off" good. Flavorful for sure. Felt like there wasn't a Lot of meat. The fries were the hit of the meal. Excellent. Fresh cut. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I wouldn't make a special trip back but I would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Oh. Em. Gee, the smashburgers are so freakin' good! We opted for a Bae and a Pretender with garlic parm fries. Both were delicious! Bae's menu offers tasty options for both carnivores and herbivores, and our food arrived hot and fast. We sat outside to enjoy the lovely weather and classic car show, and will definitely be back!

Ok so I'm going against what I normally do. Giving 5 stars on my first visit! I truly believe it will still be a 5 when I return! This was my first time here but it definitely will not be my last! It's worth the drive from Charlotte! The service was fast and while I'm sure the restaurant can get busy it was cute inside. They her the smash burger and fries right!! It was simple yet delicious! If you love smash burgers, you gotta check this place out! Everything is cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The staff is super friendly and the place packs a lot of good vibes in a somewhat small space. I can see this being a little cramped on busy days so shoot for odd hours and week days. Parking can be tough right out front but there's a large public lot behind the bank across the street, if you don't mind the walk. Otherwise you may want to dust off the parallel parking skills and try your luck with finding a place on the main street. I ordered The Bae and it was perfect through and through. The bun was soft but substantial enough to hold up to the toppings. The patties were cooked perfectly crispy and had great flavor. The cheese was nice and melty and it all works so well combined with the sauce, pickles, and caramelized onions. It was served fresh off the grill so every bite was warm and melty til the very end. My only complaint was that it didn't last long enough and that is purely my fault for not savoring it more. I do wish they would've offered just a littleee more caramelized onions as I found myself searching for them in most bites and I think that led to me eating the burger faster. Totally nitpicky and personal preference so not something I would ding them for. I also was rather starved by the time I arrived here so I would've likely scarfed down everything anyway. My husband ordered the GBB and we agreed to trade bites as we were both torn between the options when ordering. I loveddd that they seemed to chop the bacon up to mix it throughout the cheese while cooking so that every bite had some. I would definitely add bacon to my burger next time because it was cooked perfectly and complimented it so well. I also really liked the white cheddar and garlic aioli used for this option. Honestly, it would be a hard tie between the GBB and Bae next visit. I didn't find it heavy on the garlic so I feel like even those who aren't the biggest fan of the flavor (such as myself on most occasions) to be pleasantly surprised with this one. The flavors are well balanced and honestly these burgers are so nice and crispy, you could probably serve them up however you see fit and still have a winner. We decided to share the garlic parmesan fries and sampled a side of spicy ranch, ranch, and garlic aioli with them. The fries surprised me by being a bit thicker than the standard fast food french fry many places use. I wasn't expecting much as I'm not a big fan of those but *these*... they are what regular fries should dream of growing up to be! They were so crispy and well seasoned. And that ever so slightly thicker cut made all the difference. I will likely hold other fries to these standards going forward and I doubt any will be able to compare. As for the sauces... also fire! I believe I read they are made in house and they certainly know what they're doing here. I loved that the spicy ranch had a spice that didn't blow out your palate but still had a little kick that could be noticed right at the end. The regular ranch was full of flavor as well and the garlic aoili was good too, if you're into a more mayo style sauce for dipping. I'm not one to usually go for the thicker sauces but it works well with these fries. I believe the spicy ranch would be my winner, though. All in all, you can't go wrong with anything this place offers so follow your heart. Or should I say stomach? It was one of those meals where you already want another before you finish it. I will certainly be back for more! *side note to address the elephant in the room about these attached photos... not my best work as I was in a rush to chow down and the lighting was a little shadowy. I'll just have to go back to try again!

We have gone a few times with friends and have been beyond satisfied. If you like smash burgers, this is your spot. They are perfectly seasoned, have a great texture, and coke with great sauce. If you're from the area, it's in my top 3 burgers with Ace and CibiCibi also making the cut. I will say this place is more fun based on the customizations available. I'm a sucker for cheese fries. I also love all the dips, and although I'm not usually a ranch fan, this place has phenomenal ranch. If you're reading this, get that and it will all be worth the calories, I promise. You can eat inside although it does get a little crowded. But, there's also a few small tables outside. This worked out well for us as we took our dog walking around downtown.

Ordered through DoorDash. Food arrived nicely packaged and still hot. The fries are wonderful, I love the extra dipping sauces that are offered. The cheese is a must for the fries! The BAE burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The BAE sauce is great. Can't wait to order again!

Came to meet some family for lunch, and we got here just in time before rush hour! These burgers were so daggone good and the service was great. It's super tight inside the restaurant so make sure you get here at the right time because it definitely gets packed. As the line formed after we ordered we saw why as we ate our burgers. Everything came piping hot and you can get refills on drinks. The burgers were perfect, but you do have to get a double or triple smash burger. The "smash" is thin which makes you feel better if you call yourself dieting LOL. I can't wait to come back from CLT to try these again. Yummmm!!!

This gem is tucked away in downtown Mooresville. Parking is available on the street. This restaurant is a cute quaint establishment. It was very busy when we entered. The line was all the way to the door however, the line moved rather quickly. The staff was very nice & knowledgeable. The wait for my order wasn't long at all. Literally THE best burger in town hands down! 10 out of 10. Please do not sleep on this restaurant. Great food & great service!!! I will definitely return!!!

Umm Umm GOOD! Yes this could have been the best burger I have ever had. And I have had lots O' Burgers. "Love at first bite" not just a slogan but Truth. Baes Style was the road I took and there is a reason the biz is named after it. Think that Big M burger from back in the day but amped up by 1000. The fresh bun, those smashed patties with the crispy edges, gooey melted cheese some crunch azz pickles and Baes Sauce = the way to my heart. Fries were also yummy but the homemade ranch made them over the top. Spot was super cute and Clean. I highly recommend if you find yourself in Mooresville.

Cute place in the downtown area. This place is a local spot in the area and they make "smash" burgers. They are delicious. They have a station set up to order or you can wait for someone behind the counter to help. It's efficient and quick. They have plenty of tables to dine in. The lunch came with fries and a drink and their special sauce. The sauce was all that.

The burger was good and the fries were good although both were a little too salty for my taste. The ranch was really good though! Service was great, food came out fast, and the people friendly. The fountain soda cups are kind of on the small side... But that might be a good thing as I do overindulge given the opportunity! I think overall it was a good experience, and the only reason I would say it's a four-star and not a five star is that I probably won't be back. I just don't see myself going out of the way to come here. That said, though, if you want a burger and are downtown this is your place.

I saw a video of this restaurant on Instagram. The food looked great! I saved the video and completely forgot about it... until someone invited me to go. It was extremely busy but I didn't expect any less for noon on a Saturday. I lucked up and found the last parking spot. There's no specific parking lot for this business. The line was to the door and I could barely get in. All of the tables were packed and it was difficult to walk around. None of this deterred me from entering, it actually encouraged me to stay. I see a long line and I think the food is delicious #girlmath lol. I ordered a single Bae Burger without onions and pickles, and added bacon. I also ordered a side of cheese fries. I decided to take my food to go. It's a half wall between the cook side and the pickup area. I like that if I wanted, I could watch my food being made. Once I got around to eating it was about 30-40 minutes later and my food was still warm. That let me know that it was fresh when it was made! I started off with the cheese fries. They were yummy! The perfect balance of a crispy fry without being too hard. They put a good amount of cheese on the fries as well. My burger was very good! Overall, my food was DELICIOUS! I'd revisit.

When walking into this restaurant you can smell how delicious it is. The service was fast and amazing. The food was even more amazing. This was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Definitely recommend coming to try there amazing food.

OMGoodness! it's not often that I feel compelled to post a review immediately but this place is so good! I got the GBB (Garlic Butter Bacon) double patty with Parmesan fries and only wish gluttony wasn't a deadly sin or I would order 2 more! You know when you go to Krispy Kreme when the lights on and those donuts are coming out hot and fresh, pillowy soft and melt in your mouth? THIS BURGER was just like that! For real real. Red Beard (Tyler)that took my order greeted me and had recommendations right away. No need to hem and haw about what to order, just go with it. Thanks bro! If Tik Tok and Insta had a burger baby it would be Bae's Burgers. Super cute inside with bright colors and neon lights. Family friendly and Quick service. I can see why they were voted BEST OF IREDELL. Sorry no pictures, I ate it all.

After hearing all the rave reviews about Bae's Burgers on the Lake Norman Eats Facebook page, my husband and I decided to venture up to Mooresville one weekday evening for dinner. I had a single Bae, and my husband had a double Boss. We added onion rings, too. Our orders were ready very quickly, and we couldn't wait to take our first bites. These burgers are delicious! A bit greasy, but still so good. The onion rings were nicely crispy, too. We don't eat burgers very often, but theirs are definitely worth a repeat visit.

Live having a new burger place in downtown Mooresville! Checked it out for the first time tonight - we've never had the truck either. All in all, we were fans! I got the bae burger and my husband got the boss burger - both as singles. He had cheese fries and I had seasoned fries. I mentioned I felt like I was missing tomato, but I could have built my own burger so that's not an issue. I just wanted to try the burger as it comes the first time... minus the pickle because pickles are gross The food was quick and filling. Totaled about $30 so not cheap, but nowhere is really. Normal for what we ordered at a burger place. We'd go back!

The burgers are phenomenal and worth every penny. The fries are pretty good but nothing to rave over. That burger though? Makes up for any and everything else. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. I've just eaten there a second time and it was just as good as the first, so they're extremely consistent. The place was packed but the food still came out fast. I cannot recommend it enough.

This food truck is cranking out awesome burgers and fries! I built my own burger with cheese, bacon, grilled onions, lettuce and pickles. I also got the Garlic Parmesan Fries. Naturally I had to eat everything fresh in my car. The bun was buttery and the fries were loaded with garlic and Parm cheese. So yummy! No complaints from me. My first visit to Bae's and the place was packed!! The seating here is limited. But even with a line out the door, we managed to get seating for six. The smash burgers were great, the Bae's sauce was very flavorful. Fries were crispy. I'd eat here again.

Lunchtime at the new Bae's on Main St. DoMo was busy by 11:45am on a Friday. Get there early as the place is small with limited seating. The hype for Bae's Burgers as a food truck was insaaaane so I had high expectations for their first brick and mortar. Here's how it went down: Loved: *The 2 girls that took my order at the counter were legit perfect. Helpful, friendly, funny, and efficient! *The mural at the front door is so gorgeous and sets a great vibe for a local burger joint. (Rumor has it the owner's dad painted it!) *The neon art is modern and cool. Liked: *The Burger. I ordered the Boss burger which is what the adorable girls at the counter recommended. it's a smashed diner style burger with grilled onions pressed into the patty. It also came with "Bae's sauce" (every burger joint has its own riff on McD's special sauce), cheese, and bacon. TBH, my burger was pretty good but would I come back here just for this burger? Probably not. *If I came back, I think I would try the "Bae" which includes shredded lettuce and pickles which to me are staples of a great diner burger. I should've read the menu more closely. Could've gone better: *Fries. Ordered the garlic Parmesan with a side of homemade ranch all at the recommendation of the order gals. The worst thing about my french fries was that they were not fresh tasting or warm. I imagine when you run a food truck the turnover rate is much faster and probably people always got hot fries... At the restaurant maybe this is more of a concern on timing? The ranch was average at best and I threw my entire order of fries away which anyone who knows me knows that is a rarity. I just don't like room temperature fries. ;) *Price point was pretty high. I spent nearly $20 on a single burger and fries. (I did tip $3 even though there is no table service). *The restaurant has a difficult flow when it is busy. You pass by the seating area to order and then head to the complete back of the restaurant to get a drink and have to backtrack out to the seating area and if a line has formed it's tough for traffic to flow two directions as the space is narrow. I totally want this local business to succeed! I love how they have such an incredible following from Charlotte and the greater surrounding areas... I will probably come back and try it again in a couple of months.

We also tried The Boss Burger and that was a hit too! Now the garlic parmesan fries and sweet potato fries were the perfect pairing to the burgers. If you've ever been to their food truck stops in Charlotte you know you're in for a delicious meal and it's worth every cent! No I did not take any pictures because I scarfed down the burger! Did the burger melt, single patty with cheesy fries. I love a good smash burger. They amped it up with flipping the bun and grilling it. Service was extremely friendly and food was served fast. You could tell that it is a community favorite.

Where have you been for the past 6 years?!! I know I know it's my fault....‍ we have been looking for a good burger in NC for 6 years and we found it last week in Bae's! Best burger around!! So you don't know me but I despise sauces on my burger, I will always send them back. However, at Bae's we did take out and they got my order totally wrong. Sauce on the burger as well as onions but..... it was still excellent! This should tell you how good it is if I even ate the sauce! Next time tho Bae's, please get my order right? I can't believe how busy this place was and how fast I got my food. Excellent job to the staff. I also see in many places that if you are fast, the food suffers. If the food is good, staff is slow. This place has mastered both, I went with the Bae's Double, I wish I would have done a triple, it was that good. Parmesan fries are a level on their own. If you want good food with speed, this is your place.

Online ordering is super easy and the timing is close enough to call it good. placed my order from a gas station on the edge of town and was advised I could pick up in ten minutes... took twelve to get parked and in and my sack o' food was sitting there waiting for me. kinda neat to have my order up on time. biggest issue with fries to go is the container; open top gets cold and horrible but a closed container stays warm and traps moisture so unless you're cheesing things up it's probably best to just sit down and tuck in while they're fresh and hot and fries. skinny burgers are skinny burgers are skinny burgers; the cattle equivalent of chicken and waffles which promises exquisite delight but mainly serves to separate me from my money in the cruelest way. it's a fine little burger and all the fixings play well together in balanced proportions but the reality of smash burger is something less than the dream... or maybe I need to get out more often :-\ $10 gets a sheet of beefs smooshed thin and thinged up with pickles, lettuces, tomatoe, cheese and 'bae sauce' plus seasonal fries which is about the going rate. want an egg on top? hard or runny add a buck either way. add an extra meat for $2.50 or make it a triple for $5.00

Super good smash burger nice crispy edges. Line was to the door when we got there luckily we got a table. We got the boss and the bacon was crispy just the right amount of toppings. Onion rings were crispy and cheese fries were good. We will be back.

Delicious smash burger with crispy edges. Ordering online was easy. There is a public parking lot behind the stores on the opposite side of the street if you're looking for parking. They don't have outdoor seating so we took our food to go and ate in the little garden at the senior center.

Bae's now has a storefront downtown Mooresville. It might seem like a journey but it is so worth it. You can easily park and walk around the downtown area. Bae's is amazing, especially if you prefer a thin patty, which I do. I love the soft, fresh bun and the thin patty with all the toppings melded together. If you prefer a bigger style burger you can order as many patties as you like. Each burger is made with care and they serve piping hot fries and onion rings. If you haven't tried Bae's yet, just go!

The first time I tasted Bae's I was blown away. My husband had ordered from their food truck late night outside of Pins in South End. I tasted his food and was disappointed that I didn't order my own. FF to 2021 and we saw on social media that the truck was going to be at Wooden Robot so we decided to drive over. The wait was reasonable, and we got a beer while our burgers were being made. Unlike last time, the burger was a little too salty for my taste. I ate it but I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked. They may have just been having an off day, so I definitely won't judge based on that experience. But I really enjoyed the fries, they had Parmesan on them and were seasoned well.

Great experience. Fast service and food was excellent. Had double Bae burger and wife had the single. We shared garlic parm fries as well. The burgers were excellent. Smash burgers with the delicious crust. Came with home made pickles and Bae sauce with cheese. Second best burgers we had in the Charlotte area. The parm fries were good but didn't have a big garlic flavor to them. Prob won't get again. But the burgers are impressive and will be back again.

Not sure why people rave about this place. Certainly NOT the best burgers around. Took 45 minutes to get order of 3 burgers that cost $ 36.00. While I understand that they are smashburgers, the size of the patties are small so you need more than one or you WILL BE hungry. Had to get food elsewhere after eating this. Not worth the $ or wait time. Disappointed!!

These burgers were SO good!!! We got the GBB and the Patty Melt. Both were good, but we liked the bread on the Patty Melt better. I'm not a huge burger person so when I like a burger that isn't made at home, I call it a win! I wish this wasn't so far from me because it is a great lunch spot or a casual early dinner spot. Seating seemed a bit limited but not sure how busy it gets at once. We went around 11:30 on a Saturday and there were several open tables.

First time eating there and spending over $50 bucks just to get strands of long blonde hair in my hamburger patty. I literally spit it out and felt nauseous. I tried to call back but no one answered. Never again.

Great burger melt and Parmesan fries! Friendly staff. My only complaint would be they need more seating.
