Baffin Island

Worked on the Baffin island at the iron ore mine for awhile, it’s a cold place to be in the winter with long nights almost 24 hours of darkness, but in the summer it’s one of the most beautiful places I even seen before clear rivers, mountains, lot of birds, caribou, foxes, and lots of polar bears we get them a few times week at our camp. Its a tough place to be and live for anything. But its a beautiful part of Canada and im lucky to have spent some time there not too many have.

There are Auyuittuq & Sirmilik National Parks in the island. Snorkeling there you can explore the glacier undersea. Sometimes you might meet a narwhal or polar bear ~

Baffin Island is a beautiful place, with such interesting history and culture. The fishing is great, too!
