We had a lovely stay here with our family during the holidays! The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food and was available from 6:30 to 9:30 AM. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with plenty of flowers and shady trees that made us feel like we were at a beach resort. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We initially booked a Deluxe River View room but were given one far from the river. Fortunately, the staff were kind enough to change it for us. Each room has its own pros and cons — for example, our first room had a spacious, clean bathroom with a nice bathtub, while the river view room had flatter pillows. When we extended our stay, we moved to a garden view room, which surprisingly had better beds and pillows, although it was farther from the reception. The riverside area is peaceful and perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets and doing yoga. Swings are provided along the riverbank, and the well-kept green grass and vibrant plants reflect the care of the gardening team. The swimming pool is large and clean, with separate bathrooms provided nearby. We also appreciated the 20% discount on fresh fruit juices. The food at the on-site restaurant was both affordable and delicious. It does get busier on weekends, and some guests can be loud in the pool area, so I recommend visiting on weekdays for a more relaxing experience. Overall, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Bagan, and I’m sure we’ll be returning!

The location is lovely and the pool is large and peaceful, overlooking the river, We upgraded to a suite but were disappointed by the lack of space generally. I would be interested to see how a garden view suite differs from a classic room and we didn’t seem to be afforded loungers on our balcony, which river view suites in the same block clearly had. Apart from a rather noisy karaoke on Friday night we had a very relaxing stay and would certainly recommend the location but suggest that viewers on the website check the room facilities carefully.

We loved everything about this resort. The room was spacious, very friendly and helpful reception staff. They were able to arrange a taxi for us for both days to do some sightseeing and transfer to Mandalay. The buffet breakfast was very good and they have a big selection of food for lunch and dinner. The pool and garden is lovely, ideal for the beautiful sunset in the evening overlooking the river.

We loved everything about this resort: the rooms, friendly staff, beautiful pool and garden, the sunset overlooking the river. Buffet breakfast was good and they have a big variety of food for lunch and dinner. Reception staff were able to arrange a taxi for two days to sightsee and to transfer us to Mandalay. Look no further where to stay in Old Bagan.

Quality services, exceptionally helpful front office and reasonable room charges. A decent place for a quiet and less crowded sunset view. Located near two main roads in the old town so that all the popular places are easily navigable via maps app. The breakfast food quality could use some improvement though.

Comfy room and big bathroom. Good WiFi (but it’s necessary VPN). There are a lot of options for breakfast, and the restaurant’s food is delicious. All the staff is very helpful (we arrived in the night bus and the room was available to early checkin). It’s possible to rent a motorbike to go to temples.

Bad service. No enough resource during travel season. Door in washroom is not working properly. Prerequisites are changed without prior notice. Very expensive food compare to restaurant in Bagan(can be acceptable since already mentioned in menu)

Housekeeping service lis good but the bathrooms are old and dingy. The quality of the food is not that great, the food runs out quickly and takes a while to top up. Hotel should be plan accordingly to ensure that the food is always refilled.||I was charged for hot water with lemon which I had requested during dinner. When I queried about the charge, I was told it was because I ordered room service which is not the case as the hotel provides tea making facilities in the room.||||This really leaves an unpleasant feeling after spending a lot at the hotel.||I would not recommend the hotel to business travellers nor its a good place to hold events.
