We stayed at this place way back 2017. Back then, staff was amazing! When we came back for vacation last month, we were so excited to stay in this place, but it was such a disappointment. Staff needs more training, specially Front desk staff! But the gentleman from housekeeping was very helpful, that room attendant was the only one that made us feel like it's worth staying there. Lots of improvements in the place tho. Except the swimming pool that looks like a swamp that week, 😅 i think the filter wasn't working or something.

Disappointing Stay at Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel Resort – Not Worth the Price I recently stayed at Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel Resort and rented their front beach trailer room for ₱3,000/night, expecting a relaxing beachside experience. Unfortunately, it was far from what was promised—or even acceptable for the price. The trailer room was a huge letdown. It appears they haven’t bothered to renovate or update any of the old materials. The shower head was broken, the bathtub looked rustic and poorly maintained, and there were visible stains on the sheets and rusting metal fixtures throughout the space. Cleanliness and comfort clearly weren't priorities. While the food at the resort’s restaurant was admittedly good, the service was painfully slow. It took ages to get our meals, even when the restaurant wasn't busy. To make things worse, the staff were unhelpful when we inquired about the Wi-Fi. Instead of assisting us or offering a solution, we were only given excuses. I couldn’t even work during the night because there was absolutely no internet connection in the trailer. This stay was, quite frankly, a disaster. Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel Resort could have a lot of potential given its location, but without serious improvements in service, maintenance, and basic amenities, I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a worthwhile beach getaway—especially not at this rate.

I choose this hotel becaurse i have been there more time and rented a room fore staycation. Thats why I decited to held My wedding there BUT!!! I payed 18000p fore 3 hours dinner, My wife and me preorder dinner from their menu. We were guided by a worker from there what to order And how much food to order, the worker told us that the food we order fore our wedding was enough fore the 40 guest that we had invited. And now comes the BIG complain. The food that we order was not Even enough fore 15 People, and the little food that they made didnt taste good. I was SO disapointed that the guests And we left after 1 hour only. Lucky we had a lechon prepaired at My house fore all the guests or Else it had been a totally disaster!! This is the biggest scam i have ever encounter i will never set My foot there again. But if your looking fore a stayover, the rooms Are acceptable nothing Fancy. But still cost 3800p pr night which is in My opinion to much. They have a little pool cost 150p. Pr head. But look dirty everytime i been there.

DO BETTER, MY BELOVED BAGASBAS LIGHTHOUSE Food service takes waaaaay too long; waited for a single cup of fried rice for 55 minutes. Cleanliness is the lowest I have ever seen – fridge top and sills are dirty af, tables are full of dust, it's like housekeeping is not doing their job. On top of that, the fixtures are poorly maintained – the door knob is rusting, the fridge won’t cool properly because the seal no longer touches the frame, the bathroom has a strange odour likely due to a leak somewhere, and several lights are busted. The rooms just feel neglected. It’s my beloved location and go-to place, but the poor housekeeping and lack of maintenance ruin the whole experience. Their service needs to IMPROVE A LOT. BLH management: I suggest you raise their wages so they are motivated to do their jobs (I heard they're earning just the bare minimum). The only ones I can commend for doing above and beyond are receptionist Rachel (for being patient with my queries), waitress Charlotte (small but terrible woman who's the most efficient in what she does, even working double shifts), and that guy in the kitchen whose name I forgot to ask, but was very helpful – I usually take a while to decide on my order, but he sped things up because he understood exactly what I wanted. He could even customise recipes to my preference, especially when it came to adjusting sweetness levels and the type of sugar in my fruit shakes (btw, they have THE BEST orange shake!). Despite my frustration with the slow service, poor cleanliness, and shabby maintenance, these three deserve credit for their dedication and attentiveness. Without them, my experience would have been far worse. The resort would have been perfect for its great ambiance and all, but the cleanliness issues and neglected upkeep really drag the whole place down.

We Visited Catherines Cafe resto, unfortunately experience was bad. From the moment we arrived, the service was unprofessional and inattentive. The staff, RUBY, JUDITH and the female OIC seemed indifferent and uninterested. No one wants to take our order. We brought up our concerns, but the OIC didn’t offer a solution. Customer service was not a priority. We won’t be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional dining experience.

They have the monopoly from Bagasbas Beach. It's the only decent hotel there, and they know it, because they did not answer my email with all my complaints and suggestions. I stayed several days and every morning I complained that the TV was not working. And every day they had a different excuse. |The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. The front door and the back door have one inch gap on the bottom where bugs came in. The queen size bed was very comfortable, but I was bitten numerous times from bugs. Which bugs I don't know. I did not see them. But I took pictures of the bites and the blood on the bed sheet, plus the bugs on the floor. The waiters for breakfast I had need more training in courtesy. The service at dinner time was much better. The shocking surprise on the menu was that they charge an extra 150 PHP for cooking the seafood, which they have displayed in a display case. Not even the top hotels in Manila do this. For me this was a turn off and made me order something else. Overall the restaurant is charming with entertainment at night. I will not stay there again.

We recently stayed at Bagasbas Lighthouse, it was a pretty disappointing experience. Despite having a reservation, our room wasn't ready on time, which was really frustrating. The room itself was not as clean as I expected, and it felt super cramped. Definitely not what I had in mind for a comfortable stay. The service was terrible too. The staff didn't seem to care much and weren't very helpful. Overall, it felt like the place is geared more towards locals, which explains the bad service. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice, hassle-free experience.

We have rented the family room. It's spacious and clean. No problem with the aircon. The bed duvet is comfortable and not itchy. The Ensuite has actually a bathtub. Basic toiletries and utilities are available. The family room also has a balcony. They also have a lighthouse which you can climb if you want to see the aerial view of the beach. I highly advise you to do this early in the morning for the sunrise. The staff were nice and accommodating. They've been helpful with the things that we need, like extra towel (has an extra fee), the use of blower (it's not readily available on the room. You need to request it) and room early check in and extension (has a fee of 185/hr. It's fairly affordable for the room!) The lodging is just across the boardwalk where you can access the beach. It's not that far, and you just have to enjoy the place. It's also quite accessible from the bars and surfing lessons area.
