Bagels are very good, but they shouldn't be half-stale at 2 p.m. I'm originally from NY and now live in NC. Some NYers think all their food (and everything else) is superior. The way they act, they poop flowers and strawberries, but the truth is that we North Carolinians don't drive 30 minutes to the supermarket and spend our weekends mowing the lawn with our shirts off while drinking beer. In reality, we live just like you, just with less pollution, congestion, and attitude. And, yes, we have bagel stores.
Not only do we have bagel stores, but the bagels aren't half-stale at 2 p.m. Additionally, you won't find Mercedes-driving-wannabe-rich-folks cutting you off in the parking lot and giving you the finger. Dude, if you really had potatoes, you wouldn't be flaunting a car that at least 10% of Long Island owns. Either buy a Ferrari or limit your costs on a depreciating asset.
The service here was really good. So were the grapes (red) and Linden's chocolate chip cookies (three-pack).
This is a Kosher bagel joint. I still don't know exactly what that means but I do know it means no turkey.
Overall, if you're having bagel withdrawals, go here. If it's not worth dealing with rude and entitled people (some, not all), avoid.
