BAGEL Lounge

We visited here twice during our 3 day stay in Karlovy Vary. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and also speak good English. The food is brilliant, it was so good that I actually forgot to take a picture of our second visit because I was hungry. Very cosy and nice relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend.

We went there on a Sunday morning 9:30h. Although there were already a lot of guests, we immediately got a table. The service personnel does a great job!The service lady immediately brought us the menu. She was very friendly and spoke English very well. Our order was processed very fast: we had ordered black tea, cappuccino, breakfast Benedict, breakfast Avocado & Eggs and bagel Classic. Everything looked fine. I only have to remark on the bagels: this breakfast place is called "Bagel Lounge", thus I expected the culinary focus to be on the "bagel" and thought they feature a variety of different bagels of high quality. Regarding the quality of the bagels I was pretty much disappointed: they only have a single type of bagel, and these bagels are - sorry to say - of low quality, with a taste of nothing and with a rather matzy texture. Consequently I neither can recommend the bagel Classic: this is a bagel with a whole lot too much cream cheese - neither the bagel nor the neutral cream cheese has any taste. However, the beverages and breakfast Benedict and breakfast Avocado & Eggs were fine - except, as I said, the bagels' taste. From 10:00h the place filled with guests, so I would definitely recommend to come before 10h. As the place is rather small and packed after 10h you should not expect a quiet and placid atmosphere.

We had a really nice breakfast on a January morning. The vegetarian options we chose were delicious. The barista was super nice and made a great flat white, of which I ordered two :D. Dogs are allowed.

Went here twice whilst in Karlovy Vary, food is delicious and staff are really friendly and welcoming. On the first visit I had the Black Panther bagel and a Pilsner Urquell, which was great and definitely recommended for burger lovers, the second visit I was feeling healthier for breakfast so ordered the Avocado and Eggs with a latte, which was also amazing. Has a very relaxed environment. Would definitely return again when I am back in Karlovy Vary.

We were here for breakfast, the restaurant is a bit narrow table is not wider as much as you eat comfortably as for food, we ordered duck special bagel which was delicious and mozzarella sticks as side dish, to me mozzarella was not half bad but honestly i wouldn’t have been my favorite. To wrap up; I suggest you visiting for breakfast and lunch

We visited this breakfast spot on a Saturday morning without a reservation, and it worked out perfectly. The service was friendly and welcoming. We had an avocado bagel and a bacon and cheese bagel, along with a pistachio cheesecake. The cheesecake was fantastic—so delicious that we wished we could have had a second one! The bagels were also great; the bacon and cheese were juicy and flavorful. The avocado could have used a bit more seasoning, but overall, everything was top-notch and definitely recommended.

Me and my friend visited Bagel Lounge as a first thing being in Karlovy Vary. Amazing bagels, service super kind and tasty cakes! If you found yourself being hungry in Karlovy Vary definitely visit!😁

Nice atmosphere, very good service, and perfect foods. No doubt that why this place earned a Michelin Star. Try two bagels(Duck Special and Black Panther)!

Stopped at the Bagel Longe to fill up on food and cappuccinos prior to exploring Karlovy Vary. Very cute shop and excellent bagel sandwiches. They didn't rush us but did check on us regularly. Food was excellent. I would recommend.

So delicious. I was a little hesitant to come here but it was so nice to eat something other than Czech food that was delectable and fun. They have fun black gloves for you to eat your messy food with. I got the black panther that has an egg told right on top, so it certainly got messy. I eventually ate it with a fork and knife. Loved the black bagel bread. Everything inside tasted delicious. Fries were yummy and curved - unique. Some seating inside but a little tight. I felt I couldn't lean back much.

We found Bagel Lounge after reading all of the phenomenal reviews about it! After walking through the brisk cold, we were welcomed by this warm little cafe nestled in Karlovy Vary. With a cute ambiance, creative decorations, and smiling (and English speaking) employees, our visit was off to a great start! They have a wide variety of drinks and bagel sandwich variations, and you couldn't go wrong with anything you choose. I opted for the bbq pork sandwich with salad greens on the side and a cappuccino! It was wonderful! They also give you little bagel crisps to munch on while you wait for your food - which isn't very long because their service is speedy! To sum everything up, you need to come here!!!
