Employees were friendly and welcoming . Service was prompt. Overall this is a great deli for bagels and all other things. Highly recommended

Four stars because I just wish this lot would get rid of all this money beggars. They hang out in front and come in the store. The. You lose one and you gain another. They harass the customers to no end. Where is the landlord of this property??

Outstanding! Absolutely outstanding. This place is truly worthy of the 5-Stars. Magnificent food. Sandwiches are phenomenal. Shout out to Harris, Alex, Abl and the rest of the staff. The special bagels they make, like the Galaxy, Bacon Cheddar, and Oreo are all amazing. Cragels are another serious awesome creation. You guys all do a wonderful job in upkeeping the place as well. Keep up the great work. You guys are truly deserving of the 5-Stars. Highly recommend this place. Their catering menu is also a great thing to check out.

This place is good but this place has alot of the time messed up my orders from not toasting it when i ask it toasted or completely forgetting lettuce or even mayo and u can explain it to them twice what i have before and they have still messed up but i still would recommend this place just be sure to speak clearly of what u want

Place is the best lunch spot. Great staff and very friendly. Also the cooks will customize any sandwich you could think of. Quesadilla egg sandwich doesn't sound good but this is a combo to try.

I come in here weekly for their bagels since they are the best I could find on this island and I've visited almost every bagel place out here :) The bagels are big & fluffy and oh so good. The girls that work the register are always nice and the guys behind the grill are always on it and will go above & beyond! I hope they never stop making bagels! I could use some more minis sometimes tho :)

The park lot is big so there plenty of parking. The staff is great and friendly. The food is not bad. The staff sometime mess up the order so I would recommend check your food before you leave. I love that they are open 24 hours. It's also like small deli they have normal stuff you may need for the house also.

They really messed up. Again I put in a special order to pick up for the morning to bring to work and it was never done. I saw the girl write everything down when I ordered, date, time and my phone number. They said the order was made the day before and no one picked it up. I asked why didn't you call me to find out. The mistake could have been corrected then. This isn't the first time either. For all the money I give this place and the lack of respect. Then we have the money beggars outside to deal with

We happened to be in the area and stopped by. The establishment is clean and spacious. Freshly bagels, sandwiches and items to go; everything made freshly onsite. The staff are very courteous, friendly and tentative. Our order was done correctly and it was delicious. Everything made freshly onsite. Plentifully parking.

The bagels are good but they continuously get the online orders wrong. They need a better system of conveying to the cooks the specifics of each order, maybe giving them printouts or their own screen so they can read it themselves what to do. It's very disappointing when you get your bag and it's all wrong. It's a shame because the bagels are good, but if the order is wrong it kind of ruins the experience.

Convenient that the grill is 24/7 but they have slightly messed up my order the last 8 times I've gone. It's always almost correct so I think they're doing it on purpose

Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I come every morning. I get great service, really quick and the food is awesome. Bagels are made fresh every morning and it's very sanitary. I'd would ignore most of the reviews and def come try.

The fat Mexican cook always messes up the order and then blames you for not saying the order right. Horrible customer service.

Not sure how this place even stays in business with so many great bagel stores around. Easily the worst bagel store on Staten Island. Owners are rude, staff is hopeless, avoid at all costs!

The food is decent but not worth the money and definitely not worth the attitude from the staff. The guy that works the deli counter at night is the absolute worst. Maybe if they get an order right once in a while they'd deserve to have attitudes but they never get them right. The owner has an even worse attitude so it explains why he has such a lousy staff. Spend your money elsewhere.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and I love every worker here! The food is so good regardless of what you get. When you walk in there a welcoming feeling that makes me so happy every time! I absolutely recommend coming here!

Its crazy looking at the reviews that this place has such a low rating. I con't speak for the people who posted a few years ago but I like this place. I have had a very good experience over the last 9 months. I will continue coming here as far as I continue being on the Island.

This place simply cannot get your order right. They need better people behind the counter. They got 3 orders in a row completely wrong. If you get a sandwich, make sure to check before you leave the store.

After 1am don't go to this store. The bitchy girl behind the counter has a attitude a bad attitude. I ordered two wraps two drinks and some chocolate and she rang me up and it came to $25 and some change. I asked her what was the $3.50 charge. She didn't answer me just rang everything ip and got the same total. When I asked what was $3.50 she said no the candy or seeds are 2.50. I ask for receipt and to my surprise there it was $3.50. So I asked her what in this bag is $3.50? Here answer was I don't know. I could have made a big stink and left everything but I am a regular here. I want everyone to know check you prices and ask for a receipt. This is now the second time it happened.

I should've listened to the reviews. Ordered bacon, egg, and cheese, no cheese and bacon was burned. How hard is it to make the correct order and not burn bacon, come on.

My best advice to anyone ordering a sandwich here is to open every single thing you ordered at the front counter before you walk out, even if there's a line and they rush you. At this point, I have not gotten my orders correct in probably about 3 years. There is just always something forgotten, wrong, mixed up, etc. They usually won't even make eye contact with you while you order the food. Funny thing is they don't forget to charge you for the extra meat or whatever it is you wanted. The food itself is pretty good and they're open for the late night crowd. They can only get away with the nonsense because there really isn't much competition over here for good deli food unless you go further up forest or up to victory.

I recently visited this Forest Ave. location on Staten Island with my grandmother. My mother who is 80 years old, wanted a blueberry muffin. She picked a muffin and asked the woman if it was blueberry. The woman was so dismissive and insisted that the muffin was blueberry. When she got in the car, she bit into it and realized that it was chocolate chip. SHE IS ALLERGIC TO CHOCOLATE!!!!! My mom took her mom back in the store and the woman there was yelling at my grandmother before my grandmother could even speak!!! This woman who works there is known in the community as being very rude, particularly to people of color. We had someone who was with us record the way she was behaving. MANY PEOPLE know about her and how disgusting she is to people of color in the community. There was another worker there who was kind. He realized that my mom was a senior and simply gave her the blueberry muffin that she wanted. Can you believe such disrespect of a senior all because of a muffin? Special thanks to the gentleman who helped. He tried to apologize by saying that she is always pleasant. But at the same time, he was trying to stop her from yelling. We found that Interesting. With so many great bagel locations on SI, it's important to frequent businesses that are respectful to all people of color. Bagels by the Bay and Bagels in Jewett are examples of establishments that respect people of color. I am giving this establishment a 1 because my mom did eat the bagel. Otherwise, the experience was awful. There reputation of being unkind, especially the woman who works there, is real. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Really a take out deli with great bagels. I had 2 eggs bacon a. Home fried potatoes w. Bagel for $6. People are friendly. They do have 8 seats for a quick in a. out. The breakfast was tasty.

This Bagel and Breakfast/Lunch stop is truly and absolutely a "cut above the rest!!!" The Bagels are outstanding and come in a myriad of different varieties (everything from sweet and tasty popular cereal bagels, to one of my absolute favorites - The Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Bagel, which is like its own meal before one has even filled it with a specialty cream cheese or egg sandwich combination!) These are my second favorite Bagels in all of SI (a place where you can't toss a cat into the air, without it landing on another bagel establishment,) second in size/quality only to my favorite in New Dorp Plaza (which unfortunately, while presenting huge well made bagels, does not have nearly the variety and selection, that Bagels, Bread, & Butter offers-up to their happy regulars!) Additionally, Alex & the others behind the counter, cook-up some wonderful Breakfast & Lunch options, with some of the delectable lunch specials and salads varying everyday. Even their flavored cream cheeses are some of the nicest inventions that I have seen in that category and somehow always manage to taste fresh, as if they just were produced! What I really want to hit upon, is the service. My good friend and co-worker, Kenny, visit this establishment on a fairly regular bases, and have been completely enamored by the unfailing, remarkably friendly and accommodating service provided by Mimi and the others at the cash register! We mostly consume our meals while still at Bagel, Bread & Butter. What that means is, prior to heading-out to conquer our long, Managerial, work days, and while consuming our delicious array of breakfast items, we are privileged to witness a wide cross-section of very diverse Patrons, visit BB&B and likewise purchase food and additional items. Again, those that frequent this establishment are a truly diversified sampling of those that comprise the surrounding communities. They include people of every race/color, religion, ethnic background, age, economic level, work class, nationality, etc. The staff always reflects the highest possible standards of consumer service, professional attitude, and congenially accommodating attitude. I hear from fellow community members surrounding this establishment (again, of every race and background) how much, like myself, they enjoy frequenting it. There have been several occasions when I have witnessed Patrons entering, or approaching the check-out counter, with "issues" of their own, or exhibiting somewhat "irrational" behavior from time to time, yet Mimi and the others never flinch in maintaining a patient, kind and caring disposition. It is for this reason that I am personally offended at remarks made by a prior reviewer, implying things about certain staff that I know in my heart to be untrue, and falsely speaking for a "community" that I also know generally feels nothing but positive about this establishment & all its staff! People often "claim" to have recorded proof of facts that, when asked to present them, are truly not in actual evidence at all! I know that certain staff were hurt by comments falsely made, and an interaction that was biased and skewed in its actual factual account, left by the aforementioned reviewer. In today's times, people can leave nearly anything online within social media, "grinding their personal and emotional axe" without a thought for its consequences, however, I wanted to also speak for the community, thanking this fine establishment, and its kind-hearted staff, for their loving hard work and service, in leaving this review. We wanted to thank Bagel, Bread & Butter and ALL their staff, for their dedication, wonderful quality products, and fantastic "people" skills!

Just order my send a chicken salad on a bagel payed for it and came back to work to eat it here . Open it and see it chicken parm or fish with tomatoes .. I'm allergic to tomatoes and I can't even eat it . This is the 3rd time they do this to me and I can't even go back to change my sandwich .. some in the staff are rude and the cooks really have to pay attention .. pay for my food I don't get it free expect it to be done right

Prefer to go to mom-and-pop shops over "Dunkin' Donuts "type locations. After going in and spending almost 8 dollars they declined taking my debit card. I ended up in Dunkin' Donuts to pay $3.80 for the same thing. So much for supporting a local business. They won't even take my debit card.

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Third time here, I believe everyone deserves 2nd and 3rd chance, NOT a fourth, I will not return. Was there on a Sat morning, bagels were hard, I think they were leftover from fri! I had to toast it to make it edible, and I hate toasted bagels! The tuna fish tasted like it was left out on a counter, I got sick Sat night and am certain it was from the spoiled mayo in the tuna. My wife their cream cheese on their stale, toasted bagel and after 2 bites, threw it in the garbage. Do NOT eat here. I can't believe health department hasn't closed them down yet! Only a matter of time. Avoid if you value your digestive tract.

After driving by this place more than a few times, I (finally) decided to stop in on a Friday night to pick up a sandwich. The prices are reasonable ($7.99 for a two meat HUGE hero), the selection is bountiful, and the service is friendly. Plus, you get a free can of soda with each sandwich purchase. For our two sandwiches and bag of chips, it was nearly $18.00, and the heros are big enough to get two meals out of (if you aren't a glutton). Bagels, wraps, and fresh salads are also available, in addition to other pre-packaged snack items and drinks. If I'm hungry when I happen to drive by again, I'll probably stop and grab something here.

This dump got 1 star because i could not leave feed back without doing so. Find yourself a roach coach, 10X better. Surprised they're still in business.

What a dump! I wouldn't trust the thugs behind the counter to prepare my food. The rear of the store is filthy & infested with flies. The food isn't fresh. There are so many places in the area to get a decent bagel or a Sandwich--avoid this cesspool & spend your money elsewhere.

$10 minimum on cards. Bagels taste like grocery store bagels. More of a convenience store than deli...

My family loves getting breakfast from here. We call it pick it up it's always ready! The cold cuts are so good.

Excellent food and when i dont have time to get to the grocery store they always have what i need. Prices can be a bit on the high side at times but the quality is great! Bagels are fresh and taste fresh. The bagels in no way taste like they are bought at a supermarket. The store is not filthy and there are no flies anywhere to be found.. Seems to me like people are writing fake reviews here.

The thieves here charge sales tax for cold cuts making their "deals" not so much of a deal. When I informed the young lady behind the counter that it was illegal she shrugged her shoulders and walked away.

Rude staff and food is below average. Also, be careful to check your sandwich before you pay or watch them and make sure they made it right. Other day I ordered 2 egg sandwiches, bacon/cheese was really hungry went home opened it up and they smothered it with ketchup. Ugh! Do not recommend. Go to Bagel Bin down the street...much better.

Bagels Bread & Butter, also known as "3B"s serves decent food at an okay price. The thing is, some of the service sucks. The girls and most of the guys in there are very friendly but there is this one guy who annoys me to such an extent. I pass by the store every day, on my way to school and in the mornings or afternoons, I'll buy a bagel. The one day, I had bought a bottle of water next door because it was cheaper than in there, and went into the store looking to buy a bagel and the one employee behind the counter hassled me about not going next door and that I should go there. Um, how about no. Like, rude. Oh and just because I'm not an older customer, instead of giving me two quarters for change like any normal person, he'll give me odd change made up of dimes, nickels, and pennies. Like, okay, that's rude like oh my god. Their bagels are pretty good and stuff but service sucks at times.

Verifiable reports of them spitting in cops food. They were laughing and quoted as saying "if they only knew what was in their food".

Employees behind counter caught spitting in food! Will be going there to inquire. Don't usually get food there anyway,just newspapers.
