BAGGU San Francisco

I usually order baggu bags through their website so it was so cool for me to go see everything in person. What you see on the website is exactly what you see in the store so if you are wanting to see a bag in person it will most likely be in store to check out. The store is pretty small so if there is a crowd of people it is hard to walk around. The staff has really nice and helped answer my questions. 100% recommend visiting especially if you are wanting to see a bag in person.

First time coming here and didn't realize there was a store close ish to where I live lol. Went in the store and the staff was very sweet and helpful knowing that it was my first time they recommended products and gave me helpful info. I appreciate them so much and they made my experience worth coming back ❤️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love their tote bags! I’ve been using my for 3 years and it still has life on it! It makes a perfect gift as well. This store being their flagship store, offers a great selection of current prints. However, if you are looking for some other *retired* prints, I would recommend checking out Cliff’s Variety in Castro, their selection seems to be bigger. And if you are looking for a sale/discount, check out UO, sometimes you can find an unbelievable deal there.

The staff was super helpful with all my questions. The store is small but has a lot of variety of styles and also some limited edition pieces that aren’t available online.

Bad and rude customer service ever. Looks like I am not the only one after browsing all other reviews. Owner!!! please read this! Read all other reviews! And fire whoever the sales is! If the rude lady is the owner! Then go do something else! Play doom day at home all day! don’t open a shop….and ruin everyone’s Valencia St experience. Anyway love the bag itself.

Great shop with lots of inventory on display which is great for exploring all of baggu’s patterns and products. Their patterns are fabulous and fun. Friendly staff. As far as purchases go, I love my packable sun hat (rare gem in the retail game!) but the socks I purchased are too delicate of a knit for my urban hiking and physical art making. I recommend the socks only for light activities as they are delightfully soft but easily catch on things.

Lots of cute products but the worst customer experience ever!!! The woman behind the counter seemed like she hated being there or hate to have customers at the shop. I showed the picture of the product I am interested and she just pointed at the wall. It was hard to take the product out. She did not care whether a customer was struggling to get the product. I asked for help. She got the bag from the back and threw it on the table. I just noticed that there are so many bad reviews about the customer service. I am not sure why the company does not care about the customer service. I bought the product but I feel terrible after the purchase.

Baggu is one of my absolute favorite brands--I'm obsessed! I especially love their medium crescent bags; they've become my everyday go-to, and I love switching between different designs. I also adore their baby reusables, which are perfect for takeout food. I own several packing cubes and dopp kits--one for skincare and the other for makeup. While Baggu bags are on the pricier side, they're definitely worth it and last a long time. I'd say the prices are comparable to Cath Kidston, Vera Bradley, LeSportsac, and Kipling, but Baggu offers better designs at possibly a lower cost. I recently visited the store for my birthday, which was exciting since I've always purchased online through Facebook, Mercari, Depop, and Poshmark. I'm thrilled with my purchase! The staff were very helpful in applying my 10% off coupon for first-time email subscribers, and they assisted me in selecting the perfect placement for my bag--a detail I really appreciated. If you love Baggu, I highly recommend visiting their store, but be prepared--it's surprisingly small!

If you like Baggu or bags in general definitely check this store out. My only complaint is that it can be expensive but it is what it is. It's nice to be able to check out the bags in person and try stuff on.

What a beautiful little store with all kinds of bags and containers for sale. The colors are all bright and cheerful and it's so thoughtfully designed and utilitarian. In particular we liked the bags because they were light as a feather almost weightless and then the designs are so cheerful and colorful. Great service, fair prices and a generally happy place to be shopping in. Just wonderful.

We came right before opening and there was a line waiting to get in. Didn't know this place was pretty busy. Bags here are cute and they have a lot of different styles to fit your needs. They also sell reusable bags for grocery runs and errands. Prices are reasonable and staff here are friendly.

Although Baggu's social media and website are aesthetically pleasing, their IRL experience did not have the same tone. While it was nice seeing their collaborations and OG friendly designs, the woman overseeing the shop was the opposite. As we were walking around the store, she said out in an annoyed voice, "I have to take my lunch in a few minutes, so the store will be closing soon." It seemed like no one was against her taking a break for lunch, but why isn't there someone else switching off with her to watch the shop, and also she didn't have to announce it in that tone. Regardless, I would advise buying Baggu products online and coming into the store if you have to.

Super cute and trendy bag boutique. I was instantly drawn by the bags displayed and had to go in and take a look. I immediately found a tote bag I loved despite there being many other cute ones. I have never bought something so fast, but I'm glad I did! I will bring my friends here next time.

Baggu is a quite store in Valencia specializing in bags. Their store is small but has a lot of options for simple and cute bags. They carry totes, pouches, wallets, and different types of backpacks. Aside from this, they also sell hats, accessories, home goods, and socks. All of their stock is high quality. Staff here are very helpful and attentive.

I am a big fan of Baggu; from their bags, fanny packs, socks, laptop cases etc. What I'm not a fan of is their employees and customer service at this store location. Employees looks extremely annoyed and bothered when asking for assistance and they roll their eyes when you have follow up questions. Although none of this takes away from the quality of the products, having more customer service presence could have made my shopping experience more enjoyable. I'd stick to the online shopping and website.

Employees were literally so friendly and welcoming!! It was kind of busy, the store is small so it's very easy for it to feel crowded - but the two working the counter were well organized and created a great atmosphere for shoppers! They had a great selection, and I definitely picked up some cute stuff to bring home! Will be stopping by again very soon, can't wait to go back! Bags range from 14$ for reusable (depends on size), and their shoulder and crossbody bags can range from 30$-$64ish depending on what style. What they have out is what they have in stock. There is one of each style in each color out on the floor, and when you are ready to check out, you tell an employee what you want and they will grab it from the back for you!! Since they are a bag store, they do not offer paper bags to carry your bags... obviously. I'm glad they don't. The employee opened one of the bags I was buying and packed everything I got in there for me. I'm so grateful we have Baggu here in San Francisco!

It's nice that they have a physical store available to go into when stock is low on the website but they do not answer the phone for any questions and good luck showing up in person. I showed up at 3 to the store being closed. Odd seeing as though they open at 12PM so it's strange that during the busiest time of day someone would already be on lunch. Either they are really understaffed or should clearly state they close the store DURING business hours. Seems unprofessional Better off shopping online and going in store only if necessary or you need to do a return later in the day Saw at least 10 other people try to stop by while waiting outside

Very clean and organized store. A good spot to buy a bag to carry the stuff you buy at stores. Bag are fun and colorful. They also have masks!

Check your email or text before leaving. I leaned the hard way today. I stoped by today for first time and made a purchase of $78. I told the seller if I can pay $40! On Chas and the rest with my card. I handle two $20 bills and spear them for her to get and she took them. I proceed to pay the remain balance with my card. She never show the screen other wise I was bel to see how much she charge my card. I left and when I got home open the receipt and saw she only credited $20. She stolen$20 from me. There is a camera behind the counter. I will stop tomorrow to ask for my money back. Don't trust people.

found last minute and I was not disappointed!! found my new favorite bag from here and it was a great price too! Not too expensive and good quality. All the totes look and feel very durable. Love this place!

The sweet associate was so friendly and nice. She had dark hair and golden skin--looked like me :) and she was helpful and welcoming. The store was bright, colorful, and very well organized. Love this place!

I have always admired Baggu products but, was not to keen about ordering online and recently found out that they had a location in Valencia and I finally made my first purchase at the store and I will definitely be coming back!

Came in first time during a weekend stroll in the mission. What a delightful, cute, colorful store, bringing a spice of vibrancy to the mission. - Overall ambiance is energetic, neatly-designed, fun summer-vibes. White interiors, big windows that let the sun shine in, and simple displays. - Products are hanging on the wall, on racks, and on shelves. Very welcoming space, easy to spot your preferences, try things on, and mix/ match. - Friendly staff was helping a customer pick out her black crossbody vs. English saddle drawstring. The staff gave comments onto each one the customer tried on. Eventually the customer picked the one that the staff suggested, which was a happy exchange. - Good price & functional design. A great place to shop for a water-proof tote for yoga, or a drawstring for a short day trip.

I love BAGGU!! Went to the sample sale and waited a while to get in, BUT soooo worth it!! Been using BAGGU's for soooo long; they are so durable and cute! The people working at this store were also really friendly, nice, and overall amazing! The store itself is really cute inside too.

I love their Go Pouches and travel totes/backpacks. Everything folds up neatly allowing you to pack up for use on your return journey home after you've shopped to your heart's content. This store is cute and you can check out all the styles to find the one that suits you best. They have everything from the reusable tote to fanny packs to elegant leather bags. Every item is quality and made to last a while. With baggu, you can achieve your ultimate organizational goals with style.

Walking down Valencia is never dull. There's always something new, weird, interesting or all of the above. This week it was BAGGU. I've always been a fan but it did feel a wee bit fangirlish to walk into Baggu already toting a baggu. #SoMeta I did a double take because the place was seriously shiny and new and their new spring collection was displaced like they were designer handbags. But unlike designer handbags, I would buy one (or two or three) of these bag boys. The Cherry Design gave me Baggu envy. (OK I think that's enough times saying Baggu for one day.) FYI: It is where neighborhood fave Currents used to be. *sniff sniff*

I've liked their products for a while so going to the physical store was a treat. Make sure you sign up news/updates online so you get 10% off your first purchase. It's a small store but they carry most of what's online.

This is the best place for brightening up your need to schlep bags for shopping. The products and staff are perfect and increasing to totes,wallets,masks,towels pillow cases. The cloud duck bag has to length in handles on each bag for over the shoulder or in hand allowing it to maintain clearance of ground while walking (so thoughtfully made. One outer pocket for phone or wallet and one large inner bag but what makes this the best in my opinion is a zipper pouch with snaps to fasten to your bag or quickly and conveniently unsnap and take with you so you're not worried about your most valuable possessions being stolen from you while you step away for the powder room or whatever. BAGGU please please make more colors of this bag solid and like lake colors you've forgot that us men are not always as comfortable with brightly colored ones lol I am shy not much of a fan of standing out. You're the best product far and away from anything else. I've never regretted any purchase but regret giving them as gifts (not in my nature to desire to Ask for them back) Sorry I am too tired and lazy to proofread you get the idea and enthusiasm.

Walked across town to support a SF company! The store had a limited selection compared to other stores who carry their products, but I wanted to make a purchase. Staff wasn't interested in my shopping experience and it was difficult to engage with them. Overall was disappointed by their lack of customer service, like other reviewers have mentioned.

I adore their tote bags, they are light, fun and making it stylish to shop sustainably. Also a big fan of their canvas round cross body bags, they are just the right size for all your essentials and the front pocket is extra thoughtful. The colors pop brightly and they are quite durable. The perfect summer bags!

Love the store, but they charged me for the wrong price-- bought a mini cloud bag but got charged for a regular cloud bag price. I only found out after I got home. Store has no phone number listed on their website, I emailed the customer service they were able to get me a refunded the price difference right away. Good service but make sure you check the receipt before you walk out of the store.

It was Meh.... I love love love Baggu and was super excited to go but it was just OK. Two gals behind the counter were chatting it up the whole time which was not a big deal but coupled on with lack of variety was a letdown. There are so many stores that sell Baggu that have a way larger selection than the actual store has which was weird to me. Oh well, it was a good experience to be able to go.

I got my first Baggu bag today and I couldn't be happier with the quality, pattern and design. If you live in the city, getting one of their bags is an absolute must since they are compact and can hold so many small and quick purchases when you're on the go.
