Our review of the hotel is excellent. From the moment you enter the hotel until the last day (and we stayed for 12 days!!!), everything is magnificent. The treatment of the hotel staff, from the doorman, to the waiters, to the restaurant, to the bar, to the housekeeping personnel, was exceptional. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities are excellent. Different flowers appear in the lobby every day, and the hotel smells enchanting!!! Breakfast was always very good and of great quality. The bar offered excellent service, and the Brunello restaurant is one of the best in the area. The chef presents gourmet cuisine dishes that are a feast for the palate and the eyes. We highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, Baglioni Hotel Regina exceeded expectations. We landed in Rome on a night of a city-wide train strike—no taxis in sight. We hauled our luggage on foot to the hotel, hot and tired. But as soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted with genuine smiles and kindness. While checking in, the front desk staff immediately noticed I was sweating from the long walk. Without hesitation, they brought over a towel and a large bottle of ice-cold sparkling water—a small gesture that spoke volumes. The rooms are beautifully appointed—spacious, clean, with elegant marble touches and stylish décor that balances luxury and comfort. We felt completely at ease the moment we stepped inside. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The selection was excellent, with something for every palate, and the team working the dining area was incredibly warm and friendly—always starting the day with a smile. Location-wise, you’re perfectly situated near the U.S. Embassy and just a walk away from key landmarks, restaurants, and Roman charm. An exceptional experience from start to finish. Grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely return. 📸 I post quiet corners and cultural highlights like this one on Instagram: @postcardsandcoordinates

Absolutely perfect stay at Hotel Baglioni in Rome! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—always greeting us with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. Special thanks to Rocco, the front desk manager, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was taken care of. We stayed in the family suite on the 5th floor, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and truly perfection for our needs. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of fresh options to start our day right. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—central to everything we wanted to see and do in Rome. I highly recommend Hotel Baglioni to anyone visiting the city. We can’t wait to return!

Had a great stay at Baglioni Regina in Rome. The property is a blend of classic elegance with modern luxury. The rooms are large and comfortable with Aqua di Parma bath products. Location is great right on Via Veneto famous for its role in creating Dolce Vita fame - and it’s right across the street from the American embassy. But the best part of our stay were the people and service at the hotel from the doormen and front desk, to the restaurant servers, housekeeping and very knowledgeable concierge staff. Always a friendly face to welcome us back.

Spent a week here whilst attending the Tennis Tournament at Foro Italica. Unusually I did not undertake any research beforehand as the Hotel was selected by our trusted Travel Agent with a view to proximity to the tournament. We were not disappointed and totally enjoyed the Hotel as our temporary home for our stay in Rome.||Impressed from the moment of our arrival from the warm greetings of the door staff to entering the brightly lit and welcoming lobby and meeting the reception team. This is a classy Hotel with a beautiful period environment and furnishings. Check in was friendly and efficient and soon in our Grand Deluxe Room on the 7th floor.||The room was quiet, spacious with a large comfortable double bed, sofa, small table, desk and chair plenty of hanging and storage space, hospitality cupboard with a fridge, safe, TV, Kettle and Coffee Machine. Furnished in warm colours and immaculately clean. Sliding door through to the good sized bathroom with spacious vanity/basin unit, toilet and bidet, heated towel rail, stool and a huge walk in shower. Plentiful supply of towels and linen with Acqua Di Parma toiletries and accessories.||Housekeeping was maintained to a very high standard.||Breakfast could be taken in one of two rooms and there was an extensive choice from the buffet (where the food was covered) and cook to order service. Table service was attentive and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. Extensive choices of high quality offerings. Breakfast was always relaxing and enjoyable.||The small Spa is on the lower floor where we spent a few delightful rest periods and the facility reflects the high quality environment of the rest of the Hotel. There is a Gym for the more active guests.||Located on Via Vittorio Veneto (opposite the American Embassy) the Hotel was ideal for our needs. Walking distance to some main attractions, plenty of taxis, two minutes to the Hard Rock Cafe and a five minute walk up the hill to Harry's Bar and just beyond the beautiful park Villa Borghese.||Restaurants we recommend are Salumeria Roscioli (in an an actual delicatessen, brilliant atmosphere, service and food but you need to make a reservation), Santo Padre on Via Collina (small, quiet, traditional food) and Restaurant Peppone just around the corner from the Hotel for a classy dining experience.||Our wonderful trip to Rome was all grounded in having Baglioni Hotel Regina as our home to return to at the end of a busy day. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and really good at what they do. The Concierges were great at organising all our booking needs and the whole system worked splendidly.||Thank you all for our special memories.

We stayed on our recent family vacation to Rome. The hotel made our time in Rome truly unforgettable. The staff are amazing and from the moment you get out of the car, you are greeted with a warm smile and an open door. From the front desk staff and the concierge to the cleaning team and the bellman, you are treated like royalty! The facility itself is also beautiful and the rooms are impeccably appointed. We stayed in a two bedroom lock off and had more than enough space to truly relax. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was included with our stay and was amazing! My daughter and I especially enjoyed listening to the live harp player while sipping tea in the dining room at breakfast. The dining room staff were very accommodating. It’s one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. If that wasn’t enough, it’s in a perfect location. Everything you would want is close and in many cases walkable. There are amazing restaurants in every direction. We also took advantage of the park that was close by. I can’t honestly imagine a better hotel option in Rome and I can honestly say it surpassed all my and my family’s expectations. Bravo Baglioni!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the door every single time we stepped in or out. The staff is truly special, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The scent of the lobby was beautiful, and the space felt curated down to every detail. It was elegant, elevated, and refined. A special thank you to Francesca at the front desk. She made us feel like royalty. As Palace Elite members, we received a double room upgrade and were absolutely blown away. The room was huge and gorgeous, with a lovely street view, and we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of champagne. The location is unbeatable. You can walk to everything including restaurants, shopping, and major sights. For anything that wasn’t within walking distance, the concierge arranged a golf cart tour to show us around the rest of the city. That alone was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. Breakfast was another standout. The breakfast room is stunning, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’m attaching photos so you can see for yourself. Everything felt personal and thoughtful. We left completely satisfied with the experience. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Rome. This was the best four days and we are absolutely coming back.

We had an absolutely great stay here at hotel Baglioni! Obviously the hotel is very nice but what stood out the most was the service of the staff. Everyone treated us so well and was so kind. The hotel truly treated us like we were the most important guests there, even for a one night stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Yelp
Stayed here for a few days after a cruise with my parents of the Mideast, up the Suez Canal, Greece, and finally Rome. This hotel ranks right up there with the best I've ever visited. It was apparently very popular back in the day with a lot of celebrities whose pictures are in each of the well-appointed rooms (maybe these celebrities even stayed in the rooms where their pictures are? Mine had a picture of Audrey Hepburn and my parents (who stayed in a suite) had a big picture of Marilyn Monroe in it!). The hotel is a balance of classic Roman Rennaissance, Art Deco, and modern design, which I'll have to admit was a bit overwhelming at first. You can't ask for a better location in Rome, either. This is as central as you can get. The service here is second-to-none. From check-in to room service, the attention to detail is amazing and greatly appreciated! My parents' suite even had a fully-stocked bar with a great selection of liquors and mixers. Next time I visit Rome, I'm staying here!

Yelp
I've stayed at 5 star hotels before in NY the plaza the sherry Netherlands but the hotel Baglione surpasses them all! The moment yo get to the front door you're greeted and always with a smile. My luggage didn't get to hotel till day 2 and was a nice surprise to come back after a long day of sightseeing to see it was already in my room the breakfast was like heaven. So much to choose from and the best quality of produce, cheeses, meats, nova lox, home baked breads, desserts and the best cappuccino! The bed was extremely comfortable with great linens and pillows. There were two terry cloth bathrobes a bidet and large bathtub. Was a bit difficult to step into but plenty of safety bars. Great location walking distance to many wonderful restaurants. I hope to come back again one day GRATSI TO ALL Hotel Staff

Yelp
The hubby had meetings at the U.S. Embassy which is located across the street from the hotel so the children and I were "stuck" at this gorgeous hotel in Rome on the Via Venetto while he was busy working. Just trying to live La Dolce Vita! When I have the opportunity to stay at a nice hotel I always recall the days when I use to work at the Phoenician Resort. I was there when they first opened their doors. The efforts they took to get Five Diamond ratings where simple refined details that would ensure your stay was going to be extra special. Those details can be found here. Turn down service includes chocolates breakfast menu and slippers. Useful since our floors were chilly marble. But most rooms are carpeted. Bathroom has an amenity kit and shower necessities, bidet, marble double sinks, comfy bathrobes, telephone, magnifying mirror, rain shower, scale (but I never used that!), and a heated towel rack. We had two rooms adjoined by a private hallway (almost impossible to find a room with two double beds in Europe) Our Master suite had a nice view of the Via Venetto and the Embassy. Windows opened up to feel the fresh chilly air and to hear the sounds of the city but ironically it was very quiet once the windows closed. Comfy beds with lots of spot lighting for reading, color tv but limited local channels. Movies to purchase available including kid cartoons. Our stay included free WIFI and a wonderful breakfast buffet that had eggs, bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms, artisan breads, pastries, chocolate croissants, dry cereal, juices, fruits, cheese, deli meat, and cappucino which I enjoyed! Since the first few days we suffered from jetlag, lack of sleep from 13 hour plane ride and a lingering nasty cough and cold I have to say I was eternally grateful for the comfortable beds! I did order room service once and was able to get some to-go items from a local restaurant. The staff was so freindly and courteous. They asked how I was feeling and were always smiling. When we checked out I forgot a shopping bag in the lobby they called our cell and said they would mail it to us if we couldnt go back to get it. What I love the most about the Regina Baglioni Hotel is that it has the ambiance, service and quality that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber and the hospitality that is genuine without ridiculous nightly rates. Nice elegant cafe and restaurant with chandeliers, oil painitinigs and sculptures, heavy drapes, mantels, and fresh flowers. Nice quaint elegant lobby, friendly doorman, outstanding concierge, and airport transfers arranged seemlessly. If you are wondering where to stay in Rome think no more stay here. Convenient to walk to many restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe. Be sure and ask for a room with a view!

Yelp
Staff is super friendly. They greet you at the door usually. Huge plus.. easy to communicate in English with concierge, bellman, and wait staff in dining room. The bed and bath rooms are clean. Breakfast is small but efficient to get your day going. Love eating the meat and italian cheeses. They offer several options at their buffet: meat and cheeses, cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, croissant/turnovers/toast. I do not recommend the scramble eggs bc tastes like cheesy baby food. The maid service was excellent. Frig was always stocked, free bottled water every day, the bathroom was cleaned twice a day, and she always placed out my slippers every night! For America standards, this is a 4 star hotel. It's not Trump Tower, Ritz Carlton, etc. But it is an excellent hotel.

Yelp
Very modern boutique hotel in nice area of Rome across from US Embassy. Service was too notch. Accommodations as well. Biggest issue is their breakfast buffet for 33 euros. It's worthless and to charge almost $40 US for bread, fruit, cold cuts is a joke.

Yelp
Great hotel - everything perfect except the most important thing in the world you want in a room- the bed was like a motel 6 bed in comfort and what I call prison pillows. Ugh! Other than that great location, staff very friendly and room was clean. I got in early and she said I could check in if we upgraded to a Jr suite and paid more $$ so after a 10 hour flight from CA that sounded amazing lol. The size of the Jr suite was perfect. I'm still in the room so I will take a picture - please ignore all our stuff haha. The bathroom had a double sink and large compared to most hotels in Italy. Honestly I think I would've given this place a five star rating if the bed and pillows were comfortable:( My husband's first words when he woke up was I was trying to dream of a comfortable bed. With that being said some people enjoy firm beds and firm pillows so if that's your thing then book this hotel:) I like sleeping in a cloud with fluffy comfy pillows.

Yelp
There is too much wrong with this expensive hotel. If it was a budget hotel, some of the things wrong might be more acceptable. The room smelled a bit of smoke and was very dusty. The bathrooms needed work. For example my shower head leaked and the handle to turn from rain shower to sprayer was loose. The shower door also leaked, so water would run on the marble floor which was a hazard. I also found some foreign hair on the floor when I first walked in and the whole place kinda seemed a little dusty and dirty considering the price. It should have been pristine. The staff just wasn't very friendly and lazy. Sat down for breakfast and when they offered me coffee I asked for "some sparkling water" instead and the guy said "okay just get some at the buffet". Most higher end hotels would just go get the sparkling water and pour it rather than basically say "you go do it". I was just there on business but I also thought the location wasn't great if I was visiting as a tourist. It's kinda far from the Spanish steps for example - you can walk for sure, but, for this price it should be closer to the attractions tourists want to see. It's just kinda on a main drag that doesn't have much character. That said, it was pretty good location wise for business because of easy pickups. Basically stay somewhere else but you can make this work if you have no other options available.

Yelp
I've stayed at a number of different hotels in Rome, and I think I've found my favorite. Location is great, walking distance to most of the main sights (Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, etc) and lots of restaurants and cafes around. Rooms were super clean, comfy, quiet and spacious. Actually the room is much bigger than any other hotel I've stayed in in Rome. The only thing I didn't like in the room was the shower. The head was old and water was going everywhere. It was also really close to the wall so I kept bumping into the water handles turning them up and down. But this my just have been my room. Everyday the house keeping staff would put complimentary water in the room which was nice. Staff are very friendly , helpful and speak good English. They even sent me a fruit platter on my first day as a welcome with a thank you note from the hotel manager. Overall, really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Love this hotel and its staff. We found it on accident as our travel agent booked us in another hotel in Rome that we were unhappy with. So we left and I used our American Express Platinum Concierge who found the Baglioni at 11:30 pm. We got the last room. The next morning the hotel upgraded us to the Dolce Villa Suite. It's spectacular. Black marble floors, extremely comfortable bed, 2 mini bars. They brought a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit for us each day. The Spa is really nice with a jacuzzi tub and steam room and sauna. The gym is good for a hotel gym too. It's very central but not in the insane part of Rome that's similar to Times Square. Our room was very quiet. The concierge is amazing as well and booked us two dinner reservations at very in demand restaurants that otherwise we would have been turned away from. He also booked a private car for us for a night for a little adventure we went on. When I'm Back in Rome, I won't take my chances with another hotel. HOTEL Baglioni Regina is exceptional.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel but service is poor. Upon arriving at the hotel I talked with the desk about replacing the down pillows due to an allergy, and they agreed; 5+ hours later (midnight) it still wasn't done, and their answer was to just wait longer. I offered to even go downstairs myself but no.

Yelp
First time in Rome so my review is according to first time experience here. Hotel staff is very attentive. The hotel is immaculate. Very spacious and big. Pressing is a must because they don't have ironing boards or iron. Very expensive and cheap quality work. Concierge is a one star. Concierge should have all the ins and outs of everyplace. He would send us places and they were horrendous. Again this place is beautiful well kept and clean but nothing special about it.

Lisa M.

Yelp
I really want to say good things about this place because the staff were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately I can't say this hotel 5 stars as advertised. They don't have irons or ironing boards nor will they bring you one. The first morning I left at 10:00 and put the please clean my room sign up so when I returned i would have clean towels etc. After walking around for 5 hours I came back and the room was as I left it. I called down and instructed her I would be leaving again and please send someone them. I got undressed and right then I hear the door opening. This is around 3 now. It was the maid asking to clean the room. I told her after 5. About 10 minutes later someone else tried to come in. I was in bed almost asleep, finally. After that the phone rang a total of 3 times preventing me from getting any rest before dinner. Asking about the maid and someone to iron my clothes. That was disturbing to me. Finally the day we were leaving there was no hot water. This did not get fixed before we left. They did do everything they could to help try to make up for the inconveniences. Sometimes that's just not enough to make someone want to come back.

Yelp
We spent three nights at the Hotel Regina Baglioni, and had a very nice stay. The hotel is upscale and quite beautifully decorated. Rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. We did experience an issue with our shower leaking, but it was fixed quickly. Free wifi (ask at the front desk for a passcode). The staff is generally friendly (some more than others) and the concierges were very helpful in arranging tours and dinners. The included breakfast is impressive, served for a generous period of time and far more expansive than what I've seen before at similarly-priced hotels in the U.S.

Yelp
5 Star service. Beautifully decorated. Polite and insightful staff. Breakfast was tasty. Bed is extremely comfortable, love how they come in to turn in your sheets and leave a piece of chocolate. It is also close to some nice restaurants and shopping. My father and I had a delightful stay.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The whole hotel is beautiful & well maintained. The Junior Suite is very large. I'm not sure you can call it a "good value". It is luxurious at a luxury price. I would have given 5 stars, however, the concierge service is only so-so. Breakfast is delicious & the selection of quality food is excellent. No iron or ironing board is,available. You must send clothes out for service through tge hotel at a ghastly price or visit the laundry around the corner for drop off/pick up. You may think you won't stay in your room much on vacation but you will if you are sleeping off some jet lag! Very comfortable, despite paper thin walls.

Bill R.

Yelp
Enjoyed are stay at this fine hotel. Upscale rooms, beds, and amenities made for a relaxing stay. Drinks were generous, overpriced because it's Rome. Hotel staff is extremely helpful, comfortable with English and very service oriented. Would stay again.
