Bagnet Tea House

I don't know why it took me so long to write this review—honestly, I think part of me wanted to keep this gem a secret! ​Bagnet Tea House Restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel exactly like you are part of a Filipino family. You can tell they take a lot of care with the details; the decor is incredibly attractive and sets the perfect mood. ​The service here is incredible, but the food is the real star. It is always served fresh, hot, and ready to go. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended if you want great food and a genuine, homey vibe.

All I can say is CRAVING SATISFIED. What I love about Filipino restaurants is that they feel like home, even though I’m not Filipino. The food was so good and there were so many options. I’m sure to others who eat this food frequently it may not seem like much but I was impressed and everything looked mouthwatering. Small and quaint place, and super friendly front staff.

This restaurant has only been opened for 2 weeks, so they have some tweaks they need to iron out. The food was okay. I liked their sizzling plate dish. I got the porkchop. The garlic rice was tasty and had crunchy garlic on top. The portion was kind of small. They didn't have egg roll available as a side, but they asked me to substitute it with a side of my choice. The porkchop was tasty. Wish it was a little bit crispier. It had an ok sauce on it. For drinks, I had melon juice. At first, I wanted to try their milk tea, but it was also unavailable. The plastic utensils were flimsy and hard to use on the porkchop. I hope they can provide a better one next time. The place was clean and had decent interior decorations. The place is small and has about 6 tables available. They staff were very friendly and accommodating. I can tell they're still figuring things out. I'm optimistic and rooting for them to keep getting better. Decent parking is available, but it can get busy. Hoping to try their all-day breakfast menu next time.

great service. it's just earlier today Oct 11 2025 around 10-11am a group of titos who were staying outside were lying that i'm a dude after one of them made me uncomfortable looking at my fat belly while inside the place. If you know any of them please give me a name so I can sue them next time they lie about me.

Clean,spacious and bright inside. I tried the bagnetsilog, longanisa, sisig and melon drink, and halo halo. All of it was spectacular. The rice and meat were spiced just right with not too much salt. The melon drink and halo halo tasted like home and weren’t too sweet. The owner is incredibly generous with her menu prices and unlimited rice, coffee and melon drink as you sit and eat. The rice unlimited rice is super important as most places don’t give enough rice.

Sometimes I crave silog, and this place is a quick and easy spot for breakfast. Daing silog was cooked well. Everything else on the menu looked delicious, including the adobo mani.

I recommend this small resto when you’re out here in Koreatown. There’s not much food on display as other restos a do but they have an “all day breakfast” with unlimited rice and coffee. Their prices are also reasonable.

When I recently was on my way to City Hall I stopped by to this restaurant for breakfast and was ultra amazed by the staff and food

I went to a gathering that was catered by this restaurant and OMG everything was so good I had to ask where they got the food from. My favorites were the crispy pata, dinuguan, and even the sauteed veggies! I had a whole plate of that! Their food ruined me for all other Filipino food! We don't live in the area but whenever we are nearby, we place orders for their crispy pata and dinuguan. Both are so tender and melt in your mouth. I don't typically care for the crunchy bits (like the pig ear) in dinuguan but theirs is so tender I can't even tell. I had a local spot I get diniguan from but now it doesn't compare. I also crave their crispy pata all the time. Wish this place wasn't so far! I met the owner on one of our pickups and she is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet.

Parking is a bitch! My blood was boiling from the lawlessness of my fellow Filipinos. The guy in the front needs help. There was so many of us waiting for him to take our order. Food is good.Except when I went they did not have tocino. And the guy kept insisting I get longganisa which I don't really like. What happened to the unlimited coffee? And where is the cold water? I like the old Bagnet on Beverly. And prefer Bagnet in Glendale because they were nicer. Need more space for sitting. That big fridge is waste of space. Maybe a little cleaner. and maybe a little nicer and kinder. And please smile. A smile goes a long way. What happened

Happy to see they serve breakfast now. The place was empty when we got here around 10am. There are flies outside the restaurant which was off putting. Inside the rating is B. The inside looks clean though. Food was freshly made. We ordered cantaloupe juice which was self serve in a container with label "cornstarch". Very Filipino if you ask me lol. Since they were called Bagnet tea house I ordered the bagnetsilog and realized should have ordered an actual breakfast. The bagnet was not the best. Garlic fried rice had onions? Weird. Wish they asked me how I wanted my eggs done. They serve it sunny side up which is traditional but I'd rather it medium well. My brother ordered the longsilog and liked the longaniza but not the rice. We left feeling dissatisfied so we ended making our own garlic rice at home and getting Jollibee down the street

Staff was so nice when I came in, very welcoming but I'm so sorry to say the food is not so good especially the breakfast. Some other items are okay but I would not recommend the breakfast. By the way the garlic rice will leave you stinking like crazy and it's not even worth it because it tastes like crap.

I love their food , very down to earth people and makes you feel like you're in the comfort of your home eating your favorite Filipino dishes. Reasonable price , good customer service and good ambiance.

Bagnet Tea House is the newbie on this block. They have a grand opening special of free coffee for breakfast starting at 7 AM. I actually never had Filipino food before, so I'm glad I got to try it here. A customer who was eating in there told me to get the bagnetsilog, which was the pork plate. The food was good, but also fatty (I was forewarned that Filipino food tends to be fatty/fried). The hot foods looked authentic, but because I'm not familiar with Filipino food, I didn't dare try them yet, heh. The adobe chicken was good. I ate it all. I was sad that the lumpia was $1.50 each, but they were the size of my pinky. I think they're so new that customers shouldn't expect much. I do hope they can get more business and get more efficient.

Finally! A place with yummy halo halo for a fair price. It was $6.60. It had a good amount of jellies too! I'm so happy. The staff were really friendly. I'll be coming back for my dessert cravings.

The three star rating goes to customer service & cleanliness of the place. But the food needs a lot of improvement. It was passed 8 in the morning when we got there but they were already out of "bagnet" (crunchy pork) & marinated milk fish so we ended up getting the fried pork chop & marinated beef. Both comes with garlic fried rice & egg for $7+. It looked so delicious until we experienced the tough, rubbery & dried meat which most of them went into waste. We called the owner's attention who happened to be there & openly welcomed our feedback. She assured us to address the issue & we also promised to come back for hopefully a better visit.

It's a nice new filipino breakfast place. Very good price for their great portions and tasty food. BUT There's a big BUT... You have to be extra patient to dine in here. It's only two people working. Chef and server. That's all. The server is quite disorganized in taking orders and payments. They need more knowledge on how to properly serve and maintain order in this small cafe. Other than that...food was tasty and really good value. Plus they give complimentary coffee. I do look forward in returning one of these days and hoping maybe it will be better.

If you're looking for an affordable and delicious meal, head to Bagnet Tea House! Although their popular items are Filipino breakfast meals, it's still a must whether it is lunch for dinner. I personality ordered tosilog, which is a Filipino sweet pork. After taking my first bite, all I can say it was amazing. 10/10 Looking forward to come back!

The tapa was full of fat. Could not chew through. The server was nice but the food just was very disappointing. The sinangag was not tasty at all. Will not be going back.

When it comes to homestyle flavors in each bite , Bagnet Tea House reminded me of the Filipino flavors LA lacks in the restaurants. The service was as if we were special guests in a home and the energy of the space was very welcoming. I can't wait to bring more friends.

And so i dropped by here after work and bought breakfast to go and found this hair on my fried egg, ended up throwing and not only that, the porkchop was hard to chew and was not Crispy as i expected... ‍ no hair net as one of the employee came out to get coffee ‍

Nice Pinoy restaurant. And fairly priced. Clean. Keep it up. We will visit again for sure.

First time coming here and YOU have to go! It's the cutest little spot with amazing food. The service I received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again. The boba was wonderful. Tasted just like fresh mangos. They made me feel welcomed and gave an amazing experience.

Insanely delicious Filipino food, extremely kind employees, and prices that literally can't be beat. I got the Porkchopsilog which is a pork chop with egg and rice, perfect breakfast for a very generous $6 price tag. While for sure be back here many times!

Seriously the only place I go for my pork chops if I'm not cooking them . Also the generous portions make you consider tipping because it's SOOO DAMN CHEAP. I have the pancit for lunch about twice a week so I decided to finally drop a review because they deserve the love

Giving it a 2 star because the prices they have on the board is totally different when you are about to pay. Happened to me twice already. Bought a medium pork steak and on the board it says $8 i think for medium sized food, but when i was about to pay it's actually $10. Wtf once. Second time i placed an order for a lecheon belly and it's a diff price again. Might as well remove your price boards if it's not accurate. Two stars for their unlimited melon i guess.

The pork chop remind of Deep fried pork skin but in smaller amount. I'm glad it's not as tough as pork-skins. Nothing is over season thank you god LOL . I would get this again

Highly recommend stopping by here! Great home style Filipino cooking with a super cozy ambience! Owner is extremely kind and welcoming, and makes the place feel like home. Boba was on point and Halo Halo is so pretty! Melon Juice is IT!!

We visited last week. What we ordered: longsilog and sizzling porkchop. Longsilog was okay. Longanissa was tasty but the fried rice could be better. The gravy on sizzling porkchop was salty :/ though the porkchop was well-cooked. Place is pretty small but its fresh and clean. Free coffee!! And reasonable price :)

The female that's took my order was very unprofessional no customer service skills seemed lazy when I ordered 2 Halo Halo and she stated she's can't make it when asked for Boba tea instead she stated the same thing she can't do it with an attitude if it's too much of a task to do try another job how sad I'm never going back was my first time so much for an experience. And to top it off our food was cold smdh. If I could give zero stars I would.

Not good! Why will you cut the head of the okra and include it. All okra was whole. If you cut the unnecessary parts of the vegetables or meat part do not include it as your ingredients.

Tea house open at 7am. Arrived around 7:15 and was told no garlic rice. Asked for steam rice, server told me it was 30 min wait. How do you open with no rice. Smh

I wish I could give them zero... Food is so so... I tell you they're not fresh. They recycle some of their food (the one in the buffet) Never have I ever posted a review to any resto. But with them? NO AIR-CONDITIONING, I feel bad for their employees. I hope they don't get heat stroke this summer... probably OWNERS never care! This place has a potential, as long as you take care of it...

Triple A's: Authentic, Affordable, and Amazingly delicious!!!! Highly recommend the Bagnet, Daing, or Porkchop for breakfast. If you're lost on what to order in the Turo Turo front section, just ask what's the most popular dish. You can't go wrong!

This place is a hidden gem. First time here and wow the food is soooo good. The sizzling pork/beef steak is so delicious. You guys need to try it. I recommend this place because the food is excellent, it's cost efficient and the customer service is great. I am coming back for sure

The owner, Nicole, is lovely and has a strong sense of pride for her cultural food and it is reflected in the taste of the food. Food is amazing and customer service on point.

A Filipino kuya was already mad in line because the server was taking forever to get his food. My boyfriend and I laughed about it until we experienced the same. We ordered an already cooked ulam with rice, all she had to do was place it in a container period yet she still took 15 minutes to prepare everything.

The food they serve is full of MSG. It seems like they use MSG rather than salt/pepper/other spices to flavor their food. It reeks of MSG. Just to make sure, I tasted all of the food I ordered, and sure enough all of them were OVERLY flavored with MSG. It made the dishes I ordered inedible and I ended up throwing them in the trash. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money :( Another problem is the serving portions (specifically for a la carte orders). Unlike other Filipino cafeteria-style restaurants, they do not give you the portion you ordered. I ordered small items ($5.50 each) and medium items ($7.50 each) and all of the containers were not filled completely. Really disappointed. If you go to other Filipino restaurants, most of them fill the container to the brim. Bagnet Tea House barely goes past the half-way point. You get around 3/4 of what you paid for. For the "medium" a la carte order, almost 1.5 inches of the container was not filled!!!! Definitely not worth the money. They are already cutting corners and they are just a newly-opened restaurant in the area. This is the first and last time I will buy food here. If you want authentic Filipino food that is affordable and worth your money, I recommend Manila Sunset, Lutong Bahay and Little Ongpin. While the restaurants listed above may not have the cool menu/trendy set-up, they actually serve better-tasting meals and I never feel cheated with the serving portions.

Found two hairs in my drink and it also didn't taste good at all. Wouldn't recommend this place.

The food is great and the people who work there are amazing. I got the Bagnetsilog and a Thai iced tea with boba. Everything was good and I can't believe how affordable it is for the quality of food. Definitely coming back

Omg love that there's a Bagnet closer to my house and that this one has tea! I love the Thai tea so much, highly recommend. Also the aesthetic is so cute, simplistic/kinda vintage. Great spot for cute pictures for Insta with your boba. And the staff is super friendly

Found this cute new spot walking around my neighborhood- soo yummy! Not many Filipino restaurants around LA but this one is definitely worth it!! The food is delicious, fresh and super affordable- plus the owner was so kind and welcoming! highly recommended!
