Bagoly Cafe

It was the warmest, most sincere, and lovely café we visited in Budapest. The food was prepared with great care, and the owner was the sweetest woman in the world! The service was excellent, and the friendly café owner created a wonderful atmosphere with her guests. During our three days in Budapest, we went there every day, saw Ms. Kota, and tried her delicious food and drinks. You should definitely visit—it’s amazing!

A really quite and pleasent place. Food was good, didn't like Cappuccino. Fried eggs and toast were pretty good. Staff was friendly. For sure, recommended.

I stayed in the city for three days, and I ended up visiting this café on all three of them — that alone says a lot. From the very first visit, everything felt warm and welcoming. His friendliness, positive energy, and the way he treats guests make you feel more like a friend than a customer. Bagoly Café is not just a café, it’s a place with soul. If you’re in Budapest and want great food, great coffee, and even better human connection, this is a must-visit. I already miss it and would return without hesitation. During our three-day trip to Budapest with my friends, we came here every single day. Not only were the prices, coffee, omelette, and croissants amazing, but the atmosphere of the café and its lovely owner were even more wonderful. Bagoly Cafe is a place where YOU truly MATTER. Kata and Tibor (the owners) will personally take care of you. You can come here alone or with your friends. You can come here if you want to be left alone and just enjoy your coffee/ food and the tranquil environment AND you can also come here if you like to have a fun conversation. This place is about connection and openness. You can be just you (bring your weird)... Least busy in the early afternoons and ideal as an alternative work place (when you feel cooped up with your remote job at home). EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!
