Very long queue both for tickets and entry. Online option is not easily found on the web. Some of the performances were good but some very average, specially the duet snake dance performers, they were both doing their own thing ,no co-ordination and appeared to be very casual. The group dances were good. Overall seemed a little like a tourist trap

An Ancient Historical Monument in Udaipur.. May be visited if have some time to hangout. Puppet Museum inside is the best thing.. Good for having Lake View Photography. Folk Dance Show may also be seen here.. in 2 slots of 7 to 8 and 8 to 9.. 200 seats in each Show.. It's good to book tickets online in advance for any inconveniences...

A well maintained haveli. Museum has a nice collection of old and antique items. Entry ticket for museum is 60/- per person. They have a dance show in evening for which buying tickets in advance is good option.

A beautiful small underrated place in Udaipur. It's much more peaceful and has Great views of the lake. Also close to the Ganghaur ghat. Haan great sunset views and lovely place to have own time. It does have the largest turban and has great art articles within. It also has a show every evening for which you need to buy tickets separately

Bagore Ki Haveli, Udaipur is one of the finest places to experience the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan. Located right on the banks of Lake Pichola near Gangaur Ghat, this 18th-century haveli is beautifully preserved and offers a glimpse into the royal lifestyle of that era. The haveli has over 100 rooms, each showcasing unique artifacts, intricate mirror work, beautiful frescoes, and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Walking through its courtyards and corridors feels like stepping back in time. The collection here includes costumes, jewelry, hand fans, puppets, and everyday royal household items that make the visit both educational and fascinating. One of the highlights is the evening cultural show (Dharohar Dance Show) held in the courtyard. The performances feature traditional Rajasthani folk dances, puppet shows, and music – an absolute must-watch if you want to experience the soul of Rajasthan. The atmosphere in the haveli during the show is magical, especially with the heritage backdrop. The location is superb – right in the old city, surrounded by vibrant lanes full of local shops, cafés, and just a short walk from City Palace and Lake Pichola. The entry ticket is reasonably priced, and the cultural show is also worth every penny. 👉 Tips for visitors: Reach a little early for the cultural show as seats fill up quickly. Carry cash for tickets since card/digital payments might not always be available. If you enjoy photography, you’ll love the architecture, lake views, and interiors here. Overall, Bagore Ki Haveli is not just a museum but a cultural experience – a perfect blend of history, art, and tradition. If you’re in Udaipur, this is a must-visit place to truly understand the heritage of the city.

On my recent visit to Udaipur on 14th September 2025, we decided to go for the cultural show from 7 to 8 pm. Tickets for the show are available online as well as offline. Online daily limit is 100 and the tickets open 7 days before. We purchased online tickets at Rs 125 for an adult. This is located near Gangaur ghat and the four wheelers do not go to this place. We were dropped around 1 km away and we had to walk to the place. We reached around 6.30 pm and the place was 70% occupied. People reach early as there is first come first serve to get good seats. Seating arrangement is a bit improper as there is no proper back support as well as fans are not located properly for good air. The show started at sharp 7 pm where there were various items like the intro song, Ghoomar dance, dance for snakes, puppet show and a final dance performance. All the shows were good and enjoyable. One thing that should be applied is that once the show starts, people shouldn't be allowed to come which disturbs others a lot. Overall a good experience. Some parts can be improved but all the artists performed really well. There is also a museum but we were not able to explore it. We enjoyed and again a must experience if you are in Udaipur. The host was hosting in both English and Hindi for the Indians as well as foreigners. When we left there was a long queue for the second show. I would recommend to buy tickets in advance else you need to reach early as there are high chances the show would be booked.

This is truly one of the must-visit places in Udaipur. The ticket is priced at ₹125 per person, and if you wish to use your phone camera to take photos or record videos, there’s an additional ₹125 charge. I highly recommend paying this extra amount — it’s a small way to show respect for the artists and the incredible effort put into preserving and showcasing Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage. The cultural show runs from 7 PM to 8 PM, and tickets are available starting at 6 PM. I suggest entering the museum by 6:30 PM to grab a front-row seat. Overall, Bagore Ki Haveli is a place you shouldn’t miss, especially the cultural performance — it’s absolutely worth it.

Bagore Ki Haveli is one of the most memorable places I visited in Udaipur. Located right near Gangaur Ghat and overlooking Lake Pichola, it gives off a very authentic Rajasthani vibe. The haveli itself is beautifully restored and has over 100 rooms filled with old photographs, costumes, weapons, royal artifacts, and some really intricate mirror and glass work. The best part for me was the evening cultural show (Dharohar) held in the courtyard—absolutely worth attending! Traditional Rajasthani folk dances, puppetry, and live music performances made it super lively and entertaining. The dancers were amazing, especially the woman who balanced multiple pots on her head—so talented! Pro tip: reach at least 30–45 minutes early to get front row seats because it gets crowded fast.I also enjoyed exploring the different parts of the haveli, like the royal bedroom, women’s quarters, and balconies with stunning views of the lake. The ticket prices are very reasonable (₹60 for Indians + ₹150 camera fee, approx), and it feels like a great value for the experience. It’s located in the Old City, so the streets are narrow, and it’s better to walk or take a tuk-tuk instead of driving. You can easily visit Jagdish Temple or take a boat ride nearby after this. Bagore Ki Haveli is a must-visit if you’re in Udaipur and love history, culture, or just want to see something different and real.
