Favorite :) good value of money. I like the room, toilet also big. There are 2 chairs and 2 others outside the room. A table ( long for helping girls to make up 😉And a round table inside the room. There's a fence ( my room area). I dry my clothes there after swimming🏊 No free water bottle. But you can buy at the restaurant. Free towel. If they forget, you can ask. Food 🍲😋 delicious😋 all of them. And they prepare them fast. View to the lake is perfect💯👍👏

I had the cheapest room and it was terrible. Mattress had lumps all over, bed was broken, no mosquito net (they later put one up after I asked a few times, and it fell throughout the night). The room was right next to the shared toilet and shower, which were both constantly leaking and didn't seem very clean. Staff seemed un bothered and didn't care about anything. It's a shame because the place has potential. There are much better options around.

It’s a beautiful place to stay. The room is quiet cold from natural air circulation and no need ac or fans. The room design depends on what u stay, there is a simple room and traditional batak house. The environment is very relaxing with greens and u can just walk to the lake Toba.

This quaint little homestay/guesthouse was ideally rustic with a very chilled manner.||The lady who appeared to be in charge, her name was Nita, and was exceptionally helpful and spoke perfect English. She led her team well and was so helpful.||The food was standard and priced accordingly.||The rooms were better than basic (we had a first floor Deluxe Room with balcony over looking the lake with attached bathroom) with clean sheets, towels and hot water showers (the hot water are solar based so best to shower around 4pm).||Would we stay here again? For sure. The location was very convenient with loads of little restaurants around.||We managed to secure one of the four parking lots, so that was good.||We booked a speedboat for one day and went to a really cool waterfall followed by lunch in an eco-village on the lake shore.

Love everything in this homestay. Very quite even near to the public street. The vibe just great. I love the view here with a lot of trees and was clean. The staff was great they great us in the morning. When i am asking for hot water the staff gave and it was free. Such a good experience stay in bagus bay homestay.

This place was ok to stay a few days. The rooms are fine but one power point to charge only, no fan and no cleaning in 3 days but maybe I had to ask. Also you must ask for towels. Wifi is in the restaurant only. You can walk down to the lake for a swim and sunbake which is nice. The restaurant food is quite nice and the staff are friendly. Anyway as it's cheap it's good for the budget traveller and the location is good right near the ferry drop off.

Nice affordable basic accommodation on the water. Can go swimming in the lake. The wifi only works in the restaurant, not in the rooms. However the 3 stars is due to the rude girl with the braces who gave us a basic twin room by the kitchen when we had booked and paid for a superior double. She didn’t offer any compensation, wasn’t apologetic, said it wasn’t her fault, and after about an hour of trying to sort it out she just started ignoring us. Shockingly bad service, especially when we have come to expect such amazing friendly and accommodating staff in Indonesia. The next day it was resolved, but our initial interaction was very unpleasant and defensive, and we did spend a night in the worse room when we’d reserved and paid for a better one.

Loved everything about this property, especially the food. Definitely the best food on the island, and they cook everything perfectly. A great common area, spent a lot of time there with friends and on my own. Room was simple with bed, table and a chair - but what else does one need. Definitely recommend and would love to be back.
