Bahama Bay Resort & Spa in Davenport by Vacasa

We have just returned after an 18 day holiday and would highly recommend this site, the accommodation was slightly dated but very clean, plenty of room with large confutable beds, the bathroom's had large shower, double sinks and all soaps and towels. fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, fantastic A/C, our only complaint was that we was on the 3rd floor with no lift and 60 steps with luggage which could be an issue for older people. |I would recommend shopping for food at the Aldi on the 192 just a 8min drive away, there is also a Publix opposite but more expensive.|Breakfast at the Golden coral which is also on the 192 approx 20min drive and was $12 each for all you can eat.|Recommend trying- Ford's garage eatery and Bahame Breeze, neither are cheap but are excellent.

Greta resort at a fantastic price! Super quiet. Great pools , updated unit. We stayed here for two weeks in May. Had a ground floor 3 bedroom unit . Unit was updated clean and perfect. Ample kitchen supplies, having an in room laundry was great. Found out you can rent from several different companies , look around for great rates. The resort itself is close to shopping the parks and major commuter routes, yet still super quiet and tranquil . Highly recommended.

room 610🤮🤮🤮 Do not rent rooms from private individuals at this resort! The pictures say it all! Apartment number 610 As tourists making just a short stop in Orlando, we expected at least a basic level of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, this place turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The moment we walked in, we were hit by the smell of damp and mold , something between a musty basement and an old man’s forgotten closet. We thought: “Let’s air it out, maybe it’ll be fine.” But the longer we stayed, the worse it got. At first glance, the apartment doesn’t look that bad but the moment you enter the bedroom, reality hits. The bedsheets looked like they had been chewed up and spit out wrinkled, messy, and definitely not prepared for guests. It honestly made us wonder if someone had stayed there earlier that day and ran out just like we eventually did. There was no duvet , just a thin, uncomfortable blanket. I’ve never encountered a rental where the bedroom didn’t have proper bedding. The floor was dirty, dust was everywhere, and the mirrors hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like multiple guest stays. The bathroom? Moldy, smelly, and with pubic hair right by the shower. The toilet brush was literally covered in filth and wrapped in a plastic bag💩💩💩 .. seriously, what is that even about? In the drawers, we found dirty, used tissues. Filth everywhere. And the kitchen? A complete disaster. The stovetop hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the fridge was just disgusting🤢 We lost half a day of our trip trying to find another place and move out. No one should have to go through this. This apartment is not worth a single dollar. Absolutely not recommended 🥴the worst accommodation experience we’ve ever had🤢 One star and only because the AC worked. Though, judging by the state of everything else, it’s probably full of mold too and we’re lucky we didn’t get sick🤮🤮🤮

Highly recommended. More than enough space for my family. Plenty of pools to enjoy. Very safe and quiet location. If they enjoy it then that’s all that matters. However, I didn’t see many popular/family eateries nearby.

I'll start by saying the apartment is very nice and the grounds are lovely but our main issue was after people moved in above us. The soundproofing is not existent, you can hear everything and we were awoken the first morning at 5am. The guy had a cough and never stopped, you could hear them opening and closing drawers, even heard the guy pass wind. The noise when they flushed the toilet was crazy and they flushed it every 10 minutes. We here now and not sure how much longer we can put up with it, it's driving us mad already.

Even though the condos are a bit outdated we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room, comfy beds, and a full size kitchen. The price was perfect & we will be back. All the staff was professional & knowledgeable.

Usually we're very pleased with Bahama bay. However during this visit my wife slipped in the shower. Fortunately she was not seriously injured.There were no grab bars or rubber friction mats. Most of the units have original bathtubs which are curved and slippery. The unit itself what is nicely decorated in all else was very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and very nice.

Stayed a month. Resort was clean, workers were accommodating and friendly. Amenities were so so. Pools were often crowded and loud. Restaurant was average. The unit we stayed in was dated and we had several issues. The host was very responsive and friendly.
