Bahamas Rum Cake Factory

I am not a big fan of rum cake, or the rum drink. This is one of the main attractions in Nassau, we decided to stop in & visit. It was nice to see the bakery baking rum cakes from scratch. They have samples of every flavor rum cake they sell, which is a lot of flavors. They also have rum to sample & buy in different flavors & sizes. I purchased each flavor of rum cake to give out as gifts. Everyone I gave the rum cake to enjoyed their flavor. Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is a place you have to visit when you are in Nassau. If you like rum & rum cakes this is the place to go. The staff don't mind being generous with the rum & rum cake.

Great rum cake. We love pecans rum cake. Very moist. You buy the cake, and in the next store, upon showing a receipt, you get a try a shot of rum that the cake is made from

The Rum Cake Factory is a nice stop if you’re visiting Nassau. The cakes are soft, spongy, and full of flavor, with a clear hint of rum that makes them special. They offer a good variety of flavors, and we tried the chocolate rum cake, which was especially delicious. There is a restaurant next to the factory that feels more local and may not appeal to everyone, but the staff is very friendly and welcoming, so it’s still fine to visit. The main highlight is definitely the cake—rich, moist, and satisfying without being too heavy. If you’re in Nassau and want to try a local treat or pick up something tasty to take with you, I would definitely recommend stopping by the Rum Cake Factory.

I got a free rum shot. Got free cake! The cake is so good and definitely worth it! The cost is super cheap for great cake. This is a great gift for any of your friends back home!

I came to the Bahamas in November 2025 and came across this place. There was a glass window showing u inside the bakery area while they make it. Everyone had a smile on their faces. Even the staff was welcoming n giving us samples. I loved everything I sampled I got myself 2 six packs. Well done my ppl 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌👌👌

About 20 min walk from my hotel. Cakes were awesome! Got a six pack to take home to family. Service was great! I would go here again if I were to return to Nassau.... oh yeah you get a free shot of rum next door with purchase!

The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is a must-visit for rum cake lovers! Even though it was crowded, the staff was incredibly efficient, keeping everything moving smoothly. The best part is they offer free samples, so you can try before you buy! The cakes are incredibly moist and packed with a deliciously boozy kick. We picked up a variety of flavors such as banana, mocha coffee, Irish cream, amaretto, and pineapple. Each one had its own unique, rich flavor, making it hard to choose a favorite. Whether you're a fan of classic or bold flavors, there's something for everyone. It's definitely worth the stop!
