Bahay Baluk-Baluk Restaurant

The food was pretty good overall; they gave us plenty, but some of it could've tasted better. The service was good too, with enough staff, but it would've been even better if everyone knew the menu and availability without having to keep checking. The atmosphere had a great view and lots of space, and they are pet friendly which is a plus for me! Just a heads-up, you'll be in the sun if you go after lunch until the afternoon. All in all, it was a good dining experience!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bahay Baluk-Baluk! VJ, our waiter, was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. We will definitely be coming back and will be bringing our friends and family with us next time. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing experience. The management doesn’t seem to handle things well, and it feels like the in-house staff and online management are not well coordinated. Service was disorganized and inefficient. Parking is crazy steep. The food wasn’t great either, it’s bad! Overall it just wasn’t worth the drive or the stress or the money. The view is quite basic. There are nearby restaurants that offer a better view, better food, and much better management. The only reason why this restaurant is getting a one star is because it doesn’t accept a no star!

Loved dining here and brought my family to try a farm-to-table restaurant with a beautiful view of Taal Lake. Best to come by car since it’s not easy to reach; parking is free. Great ambiance, friendly service, and flavorful Filipino food, I really loved both the presentation and taste. You can also visit their farm where they source their ingredients, which was a nice touch. Note: Cash only during our visit due to a card machine issue. There’s also a PHP 20 environmental fee and PHP 30 per takeaway container. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for Filipino food lovers.

Food is great. It's on the pricey side. Take note of the menu. It doesn't include VAT yet. The total bill might surprise you and doesn't match up. Add at least 10% to the amount on the menu to estimate your bill. It was a Sunday when we came, I think we were the 1st customer. I commend the staff for serving the food just about right on time compared to other restos/resorts around the area I've tried before. Nevertheless , the view of Taal Lake is really great. It has a lower elevation than Tagaytay but nearer.

Very nice view of Taal Volcano and Mt. Makulot. The food is organic- as per kuya waiter, all ingredients are organic. But sinigang can be a little better (kulang sa asim).

Had a great time at Marahuyo! If you’re craving delicious Filipino food with a serene view of Taal, this is the place to be. The decor is stunning, and the menu is full of witty dish names that really cracked us up. ​ We tried the: ​- Lumpia Charon & Tuna Salpicao - ​Itik Rendang & Pancit Guisado ​- Volcano Chocolate Eruption (A must-try!) ​ Shoutout to Sir VJ and the whole team for being so accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time eating here and I’d say it was worth it! As a person who loves good sceneries, I really had a great time because of how good the view is. The food was also good! I loved the kare kare and crispy pata. All staff were also very kind and accommodating.
