I would definitely recommend this place. You feel like you have your own private beach with less crowd.I stayed with my family for two nights, very nice, cozy resort on the beach. This is one of the only resorts right on the beach. Room are very nice with all the amenities. It was my anniversary & kids birthday they upgraded my room without any charges.the restaurant is decent . Pool & pool bar is good too. Many good restaurants around. Plays Conchal beach is just 10 minutes away from resort . You feel like you have your private beach. Staff is very nice. I

The property's grounds are lovely and lush, and the accommodations pamper and provide a restful, relaxing retreat.. The staff is welcoming and responsive, and the rooms are serviced regularly. The beachfront and pool area are private and ideal. The "starter" fruit plate at breakfast is delicious, and there is a variety of tasty menu choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Reception was exceptional. Staff was very nice. Housekeeping & Laundry services were great. |Great location obviously. Pool & grounds were well- maintained.|Very nice 3-star hotel! Impressed! |I traveled off the property at times - reception (Amy in particular) connected with me on WhatsApp so I knew I could contact hotel staff if any snags. That's was good for peace of mind as a solo traveler.

Great location right on the beach! Any pool with a swim up bar is a plus for us. The Pacific Ocean was gorgeous for a morning walk as well as wave jumping. Followed by breakfast which was included in our stay. Across the way is Hemmingway’s a fun bar and restaurant in walking distance. The staff was great at providing recommendations for shopping and helping with all our needs.

I think it could be argued you stay here mainly for beach access and the nice sunset views. Staff friendly and did their best to provide decent service. Rooms were very tired looking but comfortable. Kitchen had fridge/freezer and hob. Karaoke across the road on a Saturday night until 13.00am is like it's happening in your room so make sure you are out ;)

The good:|The pictures are completely accurate and you have a wonderful view of the sunset. Common areas, restaurants, staff are all fantastic. The food was very tasty, and be sure to ask for their hot sauce/salsa picante as it's the perfect mix of flavor and heat. This really is a wonderful place to visit outside and spend some time in the sun, in the pool, and in the ocean. Security on site, staffed 24 hours a day, free parking inside a gate/private area is a big plus.||The bad:|The rooms do not have deadbolts and our door handle felt very flimsy. It worked, but I didn't feel very safe. The doors also didn't have a barrier/sweep on the bottom, meaning it had a gap for bugs to get in. We consistently had ants on the floor and walls, as well as flying ants buzzing around us in the room visible every night. Everything in the room felt dirty, there were bug smears on the walls and the sofa looked stained and not something to sit on or even put clothes on. We didn't want to set anything on the ground (luggage/backpacks/shoes) because of the ants/bugs. There was an ant crawling in our bed on the left night we were there and it wasn't uncommon to wake up itchy and bitten. Unfortunately, we were actually looking forward to checkout because the room was causing us so much stress. Yes, we asked to be moved, no we couldn't be moved. The hot tub area in the back was a rock garden that wasn't maintained, and the tub itself was dirty and looked very sad. ||In the end, this felt like a perfect place for a day pass type visit, or college students on spring break. Unfortunately it's not somewhere I would look forward to visiting again. Giving this 3 stars because the good was SO good otherwise this is an easy 1 star/avoid.

The grounds were poorly maintained. The room was ok but the hot tub had no hot water and it didn't hold water anyway. Around the hottub the area was overgrown and also poorly maintained. The resteraunt was very good. The sunset views were great. Staff was great. The last 2 nights there were late night parties in the pool right outside our door. Noone to complain to. The spa was good. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. My rating was generous .

The staff were so friendly. Freddie the waiter was awesome. Amy and Angie front desk staff were the best and so accommodating. The continental breakfast is decent and they serve you, it’s not a buffet style, with a couple of options considering it’s free with coffee & fresh pressed juice. There’s a couple of tasty restaurants within walking distance. The beach is right off the property and the view is stunning. Rooms are clean, neat, AC works, TVs have apps to watch. Honestly don’t have any major complaints worth writing about, nothing is perfect. But going to Costa Rica and experiencing the sweetest people is what the experience is about. PURA VIDA Costa Rica! 🇨🇷
