Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana

This place exceeded so many expectations! After seeing some pretty harsh, and negative reviews I really was worried it wasn't going to be as it was cracked up to be. I was definitely NOT disappointed!||The rooms were cleaned to a fantastic standard every day, the maids were so lovely and kind, nothing was too much trouble whatsoever. The mini fridge bar was stocked daily and you could still request things on the app! We didn't get great WiFi in the room but I am not that fussed about sitting on the Internet all day, when I am here to relax and spend time with family!||The food was fabulous and so much choice. The buffet was plentiful, hot and always seemed fresh. They had children's stations and catered for people that may be a little fussy with eating. ||We tried two of the restaurants outside of the buffet; the Circus steakhouse which was okay, but the Italian (Il Paradiso) was divine! The tuna steak is a must! Again the waiting staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. ||You could always get sunbeds and they were kind enough to change if it rained (which we was lucky only happened one day of our 7) ||The entertainment was decent and loads of relaxing places to sit and enjoy a drink. ||All staff across the board were helpful and kind (special shout out to Genesis in the main buffet, she was such a gem, with such smile and grace in everything she did) ||I would absoluteky return as I enjoyed every moment!

Wonderful stay with a few areas for improvement We had a fantastic vacation at Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana! The resort is absolutely stunning — from the fairy tale-inspired architecture to the beautifully maintained grounds and pools. It’s a perfect destination for families, with plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The overall atmosphere was vibrant and relaxing. The staff were friendly and hardworking, always greeting us with a smile and doing their best to make us feel welcome. That said, improving the English skills of some team members — especially in guest services and the entertainment program — would make communication smoother and enhance the guest experience even more. As vegetarians, we would have loved to see a bit more variety in the food options. While we did find things to enjoy, expanding the selection would definitely be appreciated by guests with dietary preferences or restrictions. A couple of downsides: the beach wasn’t as enjoyable as we hoped — there was a lot of seaweed, and it didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. Also, the rooms and furniture are starting to feel a bit dated and could use some renovation or refresh to match the high standards of the rest of the resort. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this resort to families looking for fun and relaxation in a beautiful setting. With some improvements, it could easily become a five-star experience.

We went as a family of 10 for husbands 60th birthday with four grandchildren. The hotel is beautiful and by far the best of any of the sister hotels on the whole resort. The buffet food was plentiful but some hot food could have been hotter. We had a junior suite facing castle which was very spacious. Room was cleaned everyday, the hotel always looked spotless. Staff were always happy to help. We had champagne and chocolate on arrival and a birthday cake at one of the speciality restaurants on my husbands birthday. The little golf carts/trains take you around the resorts, stopping at beach and water parks. Speciality restaurants were good but the gourmet restaurant and steak restaurant were the best. I have one point to make, it’s hard to get a decaf coffee on the whole island, I have a heart complaint and cannot have caffeine. There were very little caffeine free sachets in the lobby, sometimes none. It would have been nice to have a proper filter coffee rather than an instant sachet. We had trouble with our door for a few days, eventually they fixed it. Overall we had a great holiday, the kids loved it and I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with kids of all ages. We made some great memories.

​The staff's dedication to outstanding service made my stay exceptional. The live shows were highly entertaining, and the hotel's amenities were immaculate and well-maintained. Considering the high quality of service and facilities, this hotel offers excellent value for the price.

It's a great place to go on vacation and have a great time, special if you have family, very kids friendly. Food it's awesome, attention awesome. The only downside it's that depending on the season the beach could be very bad, the seaweed it's horrible, and did not get clean up often. Besides that everything else it's excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel I want to acknowledge the team at the Snack Bar at Fantasia during my stay. It’s a perfect spot by the beach during the mid day Hours. The Snack Bar” quickly became one of my favourite moments each day. The staff truly go above and beyond—always pleasant, welcoming, and professional. Service is consistently top notch, the area is spotless, and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. A special shout-out to Carolina, Edwardo, Daniel, and the rest of the amazing team for their hard work and warm hospitality. You all made my visit extra enjoyable. Thank you!

I am very happy we selected this hotel for our family vacation. Upon check in we were greeted warmly welcomed by Israel and Joan who were very helpful and provided us with great service. They were exceptional and the check in process was quick and seamless. They made sure we felt incredibly comfortable as they showed us around the resort and walked us to our room. The entertainment was also great. Particularly the dance team with Glenda and Dareling, they provided great service and were so much fun. Our little one had a great time and we will be returning. ❤️❤️ Luis is also one of the most fun entertainers at the pool 🙌🏾

Well, our experience at the Hotel was terrific,marvelous.That was ours first time in 5 star hotel and,it was very nice. The whole staff were very polite. Buffet and,restaurants were excellent. French restaurant there was a guy Francisco very professional like David in the Italian restaurant. At the pool there was a new boy. His name was John, who did very important job selling excursions. We were very happy with his job. Also,the ladies who clean the room were very polite and,hard working girls.Good work for Joanna,she works in the rooms next to water park 99.... She was working even with her daughter sick. Thanks to all the staff.We loved the experience.
