Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana

We had the absolute pleasure of spending our honeymoon here with our 2-year-old son, and it truly was the perfect choice for all of us. The resort is so thoughtfully designed for families — from the amazing castle that beautifully divides the pools (complete with its own bar!) to the incredible kids’ water park that’s packed with fun features for little ones and big kids alike. The food selection was fantastic, with plenty of variety to please both grown-ups and children, and the bars were just as enjoyable for us adults. Everything about the atmosphere felt welcoming, fun, and family-friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion — highly recommend to anyone, whether you’re traveling with kids or just looking for a mix of relaxation and entertainment!

Great all round experience. ||Booking in was easy, reception helpful. |Room good ( but fridge not always topped up) but did bring water to the room when asked. |Pool was good ( plenty of sun beds) maybe because time of year.| Pool bar - service was good, but not always the best drinks ( ice cream very nice, eat it before it melts ). |Lobby bar - very friendly, helpful and kept the glass topped up. ||Buffet Restaurant- breakfast very good variety and other times there was always something to eat. Service was good. |Personally I found it a bit noisy inside ( due to my hearing condition ) , so chose to use outside area. |Gourmet Restaurant- Excellent food ( Lobster with Steak) 👍👍👍|Circus grill- was nice , food was good. Let down a bit on second visit with service at the end of the meal. |Japanese experience- was very good and entertaining. Good Food. |Brazilian- not so good, Meat was very salty. So personally not impressed. ||Overall a great week.

Firstly, It was a pleasure being at Bahia Principe Fantastia. It was our first time in Dominica Republic and it will not be our last time 😊👍 Im going to do my best to break everything down. Driving up to the lobby it was beautiful great customer service they let you feel welcome it was quick, smooth and seamless. Room. Bell men has great customer service Big up youself Junior you did an amazing job helping us with our luggages and all. Our first room👎smell of paint and I wasn't going to let my kids inhale that so I had to pay for a room because I choose a different floor. Now that room, smell and view was great👍thanks Eric for helping. hot water excellent, beds well made, refrigerator stacked every day. My problem with the room service was that they gave us less washcloth and towels since it a family of 4 so I have to keep asking for more. Pool was amazing we like the fact it is very very spacious😊 and have lots of activities. Kids slide was great. One of my kid had an head injury where it was bleeding not a lot AND THE LIFEGUARD ATTENDED to her immediately. I love the fact that they were alert and understood the procedure of what to do👌❤ Beach, the view was great our problem was that It smell horrible, there were lots of seaweeds on sand and in the water so we didn't stay there for long Kids Club Department was great with my kids even though I was a bit scared lol but they loved it . Dining Room was great but I had an issue where they gave us a table then we went to collect dinner on our way back our table was taken from us where we had to be walking around with our food in our hands for another table. But the food was great Entertainment Department was excellent overall. I believe this department have lots on their hands than any other 🤣 I love the fact that they have activities to keep the children engaged, different shows each night for the kids which my little one loves. It was a pleasure to see her dancing on the stage. Music was clean which I don't know Spanish but I enjoyed it. Big up yourself Mr Alfredo and your crew for making it such an rememberable moment for us. You guys did great. Continue to do what you love. Love on those kids👌 Farewell: We didn't want to leave especially the kids. Our stayed there was amazing, memorable and we would love to come back Gods willing. Thanks for having us there. My rating is 9/10

During our recent vacation, we had the pleasure of being assisted by Andrews at the reception. From the moment we arrived from Canada, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. Andrews went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. He answered all our questions with patience, gave us excellent recommendations for local spots, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Thanks to his exceptional service, we felt truly cared for throughout our trip.

Just got back from fantasia punta cana don't know where to start, a family holiday costing over £14.000 was joke from start to finish , rooms need updating , got to ask to change towels in room same to restock the mini bar, the pool area's a few broken tiles, one of the children with us cut his foot, water park not opened for 4/5 days when arrived kids really disappointed been looking forward to it for the last 10 months, the food, would have been better going to Iceland it would have been warmer hooray for the microwave and the same thing day in day out, the staff one or two where good where as the rest completely bone idle didn't want to do anything but stand and talk, how would you feel if you are told to use another water park on the complex but children cannot get a drink in heat of 30 odd degrees because they had a different wrist band on, (by the way we was all inclusive as well ) absolutely disgusting, I could go on and on , a full list of complaints have gone in to the hotel and the tui rep guess what they offered a voucher or a small cash sum of our next holiday also wanted us to sign a disclaimer, shows you are not getting what it says on the tui website, my personal opinion this is no more than 3 star hotel not a 4.5/5 star as advertised rant over feel sorry for the people who have got this hotel booked

Wonderful stay with a few areas for improvement We had a fantastic vacation at Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana! The resort is absolutely stunning — from the fairy tale-inspired architecture to the beautifully maintained grounds and pools. It’s a perfect destination for families, with plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The overall atmosphere was vibrant and relaxing. The staff were friendly and hardworking, always greeting us with a smile and doing their best to make us feel welcome. That said, improving the English skills of some team members — especially in guest services and the entertainment program — would make communication smoother and enhance the guest experience even more. As vegetarians, we would have loved to see a bit more variety in the food options. While we did find things to enjoy, expanding the selection would definitely be appreciated by guests with dietary preferences or restrictions. A couple of downsides: the beach wasn’t as enjoyable as we hoped — there was a lot of seaweed, and it didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. Also, the rooms and furniture are starting to feel a bit dated and could use some renovation or refresh to match the high standards of the rest of the resort. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this resort to families looking for fun and relaxation in a beautiful setting. With some improvements, it could easily become a five-star experience.

I feel the reviews on this hotel are quite harsh. |We have just returned from two weeks as a family of five, two adults one 15yo one 12yo and one 5yo. |Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained can use the pools in the other Bahia principe hotels on site. Beach is a coupe of minutes walk or there is a little shuttle that goes back and forth. ||Food was mostly good, got a bit repetitive but don’t they all?|Drinks were lovely and didn’t disappoint. ||Pools nice and clean and big enough, don’t need to get up early for beds as there is plenty some days we didn’t go out til after 10 or we’d go the beach of a morning and come back and there was still plenty of beds. |Most of the staff are friendly and polite. ||Only a couple of negatives. First one is the rooms, we managed but the rooms are small for a family of 5 all varying in age, two double beds one sofa bed! So two kids had to share. The bathroom has a huge glass window into the bedrooms and the pull over blinds aren’t on the bathroom side their on the bedroom side and don’t go all the way to the edge so a bit more privacy would have been nice. |Another issue with the room is the maids do not clean the rooms properly they come in and make your bed for you don’t wipe around or brush honestly don’t think our room was wiped or brushed in two weeks! After 8 days our beds still hadn’t been changed so we stripped them so they had to change the sheets other wise I think they’d still be on now! we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t a huge issue just could have been better. ||Second was how expensive their shops are on site and unfortunately you don’t have anything to go to off site! The beach had the same prices as the hotel! They wanted… 25 USD for a standard bucked and spade that you could go to home and bargain here and get for a few quid! Mosquito spray 15 USD Coldsore cream 30USD! One pack of crisp and two packs of sweets 27 USD! Not moaning as we did buy them but just felt it was not reasonable at all!|Also we were told to take their money but they actually mainly use USD! | |Would come here again and stay in any of their reports on this site. |||Make sure you take your mosquito spray they are bad here! Over 100 bites on my legs alone!

This place is terrible. Buffet looks nice on these YouTube videos because I’m guessing they’re sponsored but the food is terrible. The same food everyday and it does not taste good. This place is not a 5 star it’s a very worn down place that’s literally tearing apart. The rooms were disgusting bed sheets were never changed and the same one was used for a whole week even when we requested room service. My family members washroom had leaking ceilings and it also smelt so bad and they would not do anything about it. Please save your money book another place this place is not how it seems. I wasted my money on this terrible hotel. I promise you will regret booking this place if you’re looking to come for good service. Only thing I would say I enjoyed is the pool and for the kids the waterpark was nice. So was the lobby bar and bartenders. Other than that I would give this place a 1/5
