My experience with the resort was a pleasant one. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much. One of my favorite places to go to while on the resort was the Acuatico restaurant. The experience there was like no other. Himanor and Victor from the restaurant made us feel like family. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were delicious. |We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone that will want to experience the culture and hospitality.

Where do I begin. We were so excited about this trip until we pulled up to the lobby. Grand punta Cana Libby was under renovations which I was not mad aware of and had to check in a filthy lobby filled with roaches and worst smell. Had to get my room exterminated and still found roaches in my suitcase. The decor was pretty and size of room was perfect. The room had to be exterminated. Other rooms they offered was in first floor which was more bug infested. The staff was wonderful and it was the only thing that was good about the place. The place needs to be knocked down and fully exterminated. We were unable to watch the shows because roaches were climbing up the wall. We tried to get different hotels and no luck. We tried to move our flight and got stuck k in airport for nine hours. So we decided to just leave early on and go out to stay away from the roach infested resort. The hibachi sushi place smelled like a toilet that had not been flushed in years. Every person complained and staff apologized. The smell was not able to go away even with all the food that was being cooked. I wish I would of been told that it was under renovation. I have been to a Bahia principle in Mexico and had best experience. The renovations wrecked this place. The noise and smell. My biggest complaint is the roaches. Biggest roaches u have ever seen and walls with blood from them. STAY AWAY PLEASE!!

The hotel staff was helpful and attentive. The food was good but the restaurants were super. Where should I start? The best restaurant is Thalia!!! Thalia is a wonderful place to eat. The people and food were top tier. Welcoming and food was amazing...you must stop here for a friendly spot to eat. Wow.

Normally I try to be as positive as I can. My family and I recently traveled to the Dominican Republic to enjoy some family fun in the sun. Unfortunately this time we ran into some complications. The resort itself was fantastic. The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly. However our room was apparently under renovation. I should say the block of rooms we stayed at were all under upgrades. It was Unfortunately an overnight of ours. We figured we'd have an newer room. We tried to have them move us but it was an exhausting experience. Basically we spent the first 3 days disappointed with our accommodations. They kept promising to move us but it never came. Back and forth to the front desk. Which isn't close to our room and day after day they kept telling us to talk to a different person. The one day we waited for over an hour for the manager to meet us for an appointment we booked. He was just late. Anyway look at my photos. Make sure you understand what room your booking and where in the resort. You'll be disappointed if you get stuck in the non renovated areas and don't assume they'll upgrade you or move you. They'll charge the crap out of you too.
In the end it all worked out but we'd never come back.

the service was great all around wonderful view lovely entertainment always something going on every day. the foam part was li. I enjoyed the buffet the pool. I like how the staff gets you involved with activities and how they care about fitness with yoga aquq aerobics and spinning class. and room service gives you fresh towels blankets and refreshments everyday. Definitely can't wait to go back

The front desk mixed up our wrist bands. We had 4 rooms and we got bands to rooms not assigned to us. So we could not utilize the app to make requests. We were not able to adjust the temperature in our room at all, the thermostat on the wall did not work and nobody came after numerous calls to the front desk. Our group does not drink a lot. At the pool bars they refused to serve us water on multiple occasions. At restaurants they stopped coming to our table because we didn’t want alcoholic drinks. Buffet was a 2 out of 10. “The truck” had a max of 5 items available. Never had half of the items listed on the menu. Food quality at this resort were awful. And what they did offer wasn’t good. The ladies filling waters and coffee at the buffet were great and gave excellent service!

My family stayed 7 nights at the Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana, and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone who worked there was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the resort’s environment was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again

Restaurant Thali: This place is so beautiful, the service is amazing, the food is incredible, I love the shrimp curry, lamb, and the desserts are delectable. There is truly something for everyone. The dishes are an explosion of flavor, I will most definitely be returning.
