The guides are exceptional and filled with local knowledge. The lodge is embedded in nature and provides an authentic Costa Rican experience. The tours and experiences are next level. The bioluminsecent kayak tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide was enthusiastic and informative, and his excitement for the whole experience was contagious. Not that the phenomenon itself isn't breathtaking enough - absolutely unforgettable, and highly recommended!

There are no words for how amazing this family was! We took the bioluminescence night tour and got the opportunity to meet Luis, he was the most incredible tour guide and was so knowledgeable about all things bioluminescence! We had the most amazing time with him. We enjoyed it so much we went back to their company to do the isla tortuga the next day and got to take a private boat ride with Chato, he was also equally as knowledgeable and friendly. They made us lunch on the island and brought us drinks and fresh fruit. This family owned business has been around for a long time and it shows. They’re so amazing

We started our Costa Rica trip off with the Isla Tortuga boat tour. Would highly recommend; we had such a good time. Our guide was amazing. The snorkeling was really fun, and the meal they made for us on the island was so delicious. It was a great way to spend the day.

We did the snorkeling tour to Isla de Tortuga and it was such a nice experience! Our guide Chato was very nice and experienced and Isabella prepared our very delicious lunch. We were lucky and had perfect conditions for snorkeling and were able to see many different animals. I would definitely recommend 🤿🌊

Bahia Rica is run by the nicest couple who made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Juan was our guide and truly went above and beyond. He was in the water with us the whole time during snorkeling, making sure we felt safe and comfortable. We saw the most adorable fish - pufferfish, starfish, and so many colorful little creatures. It was magical. The food was all absolutely delicious. Isabella is a star in the kitchen, and the vegetable ceviche in the coconut was such a nice touch! Overall the entire experience was so thoughtfully curated and had such a homey, personal touch. Highly recommend!

We booked the Bahía Rica Isla Tortuga tour and it was the best boat tour we have ever done. The trip was made amazing because of the Captain Juan and the cook Isabella. Juan had so much enthusiasm and passion for the tour. He took the time to explain every little detail to us about the beautiful and rich aboriginal history of Costa Rica. You could tell Juan knew his stuff, it wasn’t like other scuba trips we have been on where the guide just leaves you on your own - Juan was in the water with us and was arguably the most excited person on the tour. We were in the water for close to 2 hours and saw sharks, sea horses, puffer fish, sting ray and thousands of colourful fish. One of the highlights was visiting the family of spider monkeys on the side of the island. Isabella did an amazing job on the lunch. We had the most amazingly fresh ceviche on the side of the boat. It was caught about an hour before we ate it and it was delicious. We also had fresh pinnaple and coconut through the day. Another highlight was the amazing freshly cooked lunch with delicious coffee and brownies. We want to thank Juan and Isabella for the top notch hospitality and the entire Bahía Rica team for a great experience from start to finish.

We did the snorkeling and tortuga island tour and it was really a wonderful experience, we saw turtles, white tip sharks, pelicans and spider monkeys, I can really recommend it. Also the lunch was delicious
