The National Museum of Bahrain is interesting — not just for its architecture, but also for how it tells the story of the country. Compared to the flashy museums in Qatar or Abu Dhabi, it does feel a bit more modest, but still worth a visit.
It’s a great place to explore during the hot midday sun, and there’s even a little café where you can relax and cool down for a while. One thing I didn’t love was that many exhibits didn’t show any dates, which made it harder to get a sense of the timeline.
Otherwise, it was nice and quiet, entry was cheap, parking was free — can’t really complain.
