"Your First and Last Drink in Dubai During the many years I lived in Dubai , I must have sipped drinks on the wide, breezy veranda of Bahri Bar hundreds of times. It was the bar I took my many visitors to Dubai—from my Mum to my old school friends—on their first night in the city and on their last. On the first night it was all about setting the scene and creating an impression and on the last it was about making my guests already start to miss Dubai—and thereby ensuring they returned again to visit me! Although an expat favorite, it's undeniably touristy. But there are few lovelier ways to start a vacation in Dubai than settling into a cushioned chair on a deck strewn with Oriental carpets and dripping with lanterns, sipping a glass of wine, a cocktail or icy cold beer, and feeling the warmth of sun on your face and a breeze wafting in from the Arabian Sea. The interior of the colonial-inspired bar is sumptuous and that's where you'll want to retreat during the warm (i.e., scorching hot) months of spring and summer. But in the cooler months (i.e., the beautiful stretch of weather from November to April) you need to snag a table on the veranda for views of the abra boats cruising on the man-made waterways, the striking sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, and the sublime sunset. Make sure you book a restaurant for dinner somewhere else, or you might never leave."

Head Bartender Deepak was very attentive and brilliant at creating cocktails to our taste. Thomas was very chatty and knowledgeable about local spots of entertainment. We had a very enjoyable evening. Will be back.

My lunch at Bahri was an exceptional experience, offering a perfect combination of breathtaking views, elegant ambiance, and exquisite flavors. Located at the iconic Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, Bahri lives up to its name, which means "seaside" in Arabic, by providing stunning panoramic views of the waterways and the Burj Al Arab. The tranquil atmosphere and sophisticated decor make it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet refined lunch. The menu at Bahri reflects a delightful fusion of Middle Eastern and international flavors. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. I started with the mezze platter, which included fresh, vibrant options like hummus, baba ghanoush, and fattoush, all bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the grilled sea bass, perfectly cooked with a subtle yet flavorful marinade that complemented the fish beautifully. The lamb chops were another standout dish, tender and packed with bold, aromatic spices. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was taken care of without being intrusive. Their warm demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. What truly sets Bahri apart, however, is the view. Whether seated indoors or on the outdoor terrace, you are treated to a mesmerizing vista of the tranquil waterways and the majestic Burj Al Arab rising in the background. The setting is both peaceful and luxurious, making it a perfect escape from the bustling city. Bahri offers more than just a meal—it’s an experience that soothes the senses and elevates the spirit. Whether you’re looking for a romantic outing, a place to unwind with friends, or simply a quiet spot to enjoy fine dining, Bahri is a must-visit destination. I left feeling refreshed and eager to return for another enchanting afternoon by the water.

We wanted to go to a bar with a view and creative drinks and chose Bahri Bar. The view of Burj Al Arab is amazing from here. Abras are discreetly riding on the canal in front of the hotel. The hotel is in nice Arabic style and gives 1001 Nights impressions. Cocktails are really creative and delicious. For festive season they had a special, limited edition cocktail list which did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and kind. It was a little chilly in the evening and they provided a blanket upon my request. Special thanks to Zane for his professional service. After 9pm a DJ performs, but only inside and not on the terrace. If you are visiting Dubai, do not miss this bar.

Great vibes! Amazing views! & They let you smoke out on the terrace. The cocktails are good, but the playlist needs work. 😅

Booked a table at this lovely bar overlooking the Burj Al Arab for evening cocktails and nibbles. Was really floored by the overall hospitality and warmth of the staff and attention to detail. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff led by the manager Maria ensured we got a prime table and even send over complimentary macarons to sweeten the celebration. Our server for the evening Ismail was attentive, courteous and very helpful with recommendations. They have some really perky cocktails and just the right selections of hors d'oeuvre. The USP of this haunt would be it's relaxed ambience and views of the canal waters below and of the sea beyond, and of course the monolith, Burj Al Arab. They have a live band on Saturdays so that would be a good day of the week to book yourself in if you like the idea of being serenaded by lively singing, together with a saxophonist. All in all a great place and comes highly recommended.

Great location in the Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Hotel near the water with views of Burj Al Arab, and Atlantis The Royal in the backdrop. We were offered dates and coffee in the lobby on the way up. Lovely atmosphere. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed our wonderful drinks and views with friends. Great customer service.

I recently visited Bahri Bar, and overall, it was a great experience. The venue is beautiful with amazing views of the Burj Al Arab, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing evening. The managers and staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service throughout the night. However, I have to mention the music, which was honestly disappointing. While I understand the bar has a relaxed vibe, the slow, sleepy music after sunset really kills the mood. It’s the kind of music that makes you want to sleep, and let’s be honest, no one in Dubai comes out at 7 or 8 PM to listen to that kind of music when the night is just getting started. I was hoping for something a bit more upbeat as the evening progressed. If they could improve the music to match the vibrant energy of Dubai after sunset, this place would be perfect. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic spot with great views and service.

An upscale elegant and chic bar, that serves quite an interesting and cozy drinks and bites. Great selection of drinks coupled with elevated service and views. Has indoor ad outdoor seatings that are certainly satisfying with the backdrop of the canal and Burj El Arab. Located at Mina A’ Salam JUMEIRAH Hotel, a place to be for calm and lavish evenings. Their happy hours are quite indulging but you wouldn’t want to leave the place afterwards. Great decoration and style.
