Quiet beach location with views across to Cambodia. Many boats nearby. Did not seem suitable for swimming with little amenity. Much rubbish (including mattresses) just dumped near the beach. May be a good place to visit for viewing sunsets.

Ganh Dau Beach offers a quiet escape on the northwestern tip of Phu Quoc Island, with views stretching across the sea to Cambodia. The beach is known for its soft, golden sands that gently curve around clear turquoise waters, creating a picturesque coastal scene. However, while the setting appears ideal at first glance, it comes with a few drawbacks. The presence of many fishing boats anchored nearby takes away from the sense of seclusion and limits the beach's suitability for swimming. Despite being bordered by pristine rainforests that serve as the green lungs of the area, the beach itself suffers from poor maintenance. Litter, including large discarded items like mattresses, is scattered near the shore, detracting from the natural beauty. Amenities are minimal, making it less appealing for those seeking a full beach-day experience. That said, Ganh Dau can still be worth a short visit—especially during sunset, when the sky ignites in rich hues and the calm sea reflects the fading light. It's a spot better suited for peaceful walks and scenic views than for swimming or recreation.

There is a small business at the south end of the beach that has fishing expeditions, kayak rentals, snorkeling rentals, and more. He is a very nice person with a nice family.

Most of the beaches on Phu Quoc are a bit dirty, that’s just how it is here. In time I’m sure they will clean up but for now this is what you get. We still went for a swim to cool off after the ride from the other side of the island. Nice enough - the views are lovely:) There is a restaurant near by you can get a cold beer or lunch. All in all - Worth a look

You can buy fresh fish in here from the local fisherman when they has just landfall ( ì you lucky). You can enjoy a cup of coffee on sidewalk and view the sea, the sea so clean at this season

Good place to enjoy sunset with your beloved and do fishing as well... Local people usually swimming in the afternoon and from this site we can see some island of Cambodia. The North of the island where strong windy from Jan to Jun of the year..other side will be from Jul to Dec. A lot of hotel and small resort around. Highly recommend from my side to go to Nam Phuong Resorts nearby..don’t forget to try steamed calamari and Bivina Beer.

We're lucky when come here and see the rainbow. You can see some Cambodia islands from here. Quite peace, not so many tourists. I loved this place!
