Baia Barbados

The perfect place for a sunset, the best place for a romantic date night! This location, being right at the ocean, is one of its kind locations and truly a hidden gem. The food is amazing and exquisitely different. The staff, particularly Shenice, was amazingly helpful and making it a very special night for us. This experience should not be missed, while being in Barbados, and I highly recommend to book in advance, as the upper deck fills up quickly. Don't forget to try out their drinks, as they also are great in taste. For a foody, this is an absolute must, not to be missed.

A true gem in Barbados with Michelin-style presentation and outstanding tasting-menu food. The staff were incredible and made us feel so special from start to finish. We would definitely come back again.

Absolute joy, a wonderfully warm welcome which carries through to all the serving team who looked after us so well. Contemporary in style, subtle soft designs throughout - a perfect dining environment with ocean front tables on lower floor and upper terrace. Exquisite menu - over two visits we experienced most of the dishes! Owned and managed by a charming couple who deserve all success.

I cannot speak highly enough of BAIA! My fiancé and I visited for Valentines Day and it truly was sensational. The best food and service we had during our holiday on the island. We are both vegan and were so excited to have so many options! I have been dreaming of the Ceviche de Platano ever since! We also adored the crispy vegetable tacos. Service was next level - so polite, friendly, professional - even brought over a little stool to place my handbag. The setting is beautiful with the ocean lit up in the evening. It was also my fiancés birthday and our wonderful waitress sensed he didn’t want a fuss, but still bought him out a dessert with a sparkler and happy birthday written on the plate, but saved him from being sung to (haha). It was so thoughtful and I really appreciated her sensitivity and awareness as to what he would be comfortable with, but still went out of her way to make him feel special. Thank you BAIA - you made our night! Wonderful, wonderful. Couldn’t recommend more!!

i have visited the island many times and never tried baia before however i will definitely be returning! everything from the food to the service was was impeccable we had a lovely server called shanelle who definitely added to our experience she was very friendly and helpful . the food is delicious and very different to the other restaurants on the island the pork crackling,guac and fish tacos were some of the best food i’ve tasted on the island, baia is a must visit. the atmosphere is also great it’s ocean side so great views aswell !

Gorgeous place. Phenomenal atmosphere right by the water, tasteful decor, amazing service, delicious food. What else could we ask for?

Amazing dinner here. As the non seafood eating person at the table, I was sceptical, but the vegetarian food was awesome. Top marks to the chefs, they really did a great job blending some amazing flavours. As to this really lovely, friendly staff who seem to be enjoying their jobs, and a location where you can watch the sunset with a cocktail, and this would have to be one of my favourite restaurants ever. Thanks.

So we have visited Barbados for many years, and not sure how we missed this one (they opened 4 years ago). Cannot say enough good things. Ocean view at sunset, 12/10. Food, 12/10. And we have been to the Cliff and several other of the tried and true. This is spectacular, do not miss. And service: not stuffy but very personal and attentive. 12/10. This is one we will come back to again and again.
