Beautiful quiet beach. No restaurants or bars since the Hurricane. Bring a cooler, chairs and an umbrella and you're all set for a quiet day at the beach. Caution water can be rough with strong undertows. Use common sense to determine safe conditions.

Very quiet beach. It was very close to where we stayed which is why we visited multiple times. I read of the reviews that said there are no umbrellas or chairs, this is absolutely not necessary at this beach. Sure it would be nice, but if you bring a towel he will be just fine. Frankly, I don’t see any reason why you would not want to enjoy the water here. At any of these Caribbean beaches you can be in the water for as long as you like without risk of hypothermia. In the north east of the United States you cannot say this and so for that reason I would go and spend all of your time in the water. We snorkeled here too and that was as advertised. Very enjoyable but be prepared to do a bit of swimming and mind the current.

Breathtaking 😍 lots of sandstone and rocks. Nice stretch of sand. There is an area at the end where swimming is relatively calm, the rest of the beach you must watch out for rocks and heavy surf. Beach wasn't crowded at all. Bring water and snacks and possibly water shoes if worried about the rocks.

Extraordinary sand and rocks near cliffs, look like polished picture Jasper, water.is clear, decent snorkeling with colorful fish, David's hole goes right through the cliff. Very remote, never crowded, total privacy

Quiet, low traffic, fluffy sands. No toilets, restaurants, or chair rentals, "tout au naturel". The perfect place for a self reflection day. Try and also make sometime to watch one or two sunsets from here. They're fascinating.

This was not on our original itinerary but choppy seas ruled out some other options and we stumbled on Baie Rouge. Definitely take your snorkeling gear so you can swim over to the Devil's Hole. I was a little nervous to swim too close cuz there's a lot of different currents but we saw great marine life down in some of the trenches and holes and the water was pretty clear despite the waves. My favorite spot on the island so far.

Coming from Marigot the entrance is where the road turns after the lake and it looks like an old resort entrance. Arrive early as car park is small. Not ideal place for small kids with some waves but beach feel really peaceful with amazing views
