Baigal Guest House

What an amazing experience we had via baigal. Texting them the day before they organised us a ger with them before embarking on the most incredible journey with their driver to meet the horseman and the reindeer herders. We LOVED every second. Their hospitality blew us away from lifts on arrival, breakfast and a hot meal before leaving. We were truly taken care of. They let us shower, sleep in and be comfortable throughout. The driver went above and beyond. We stayed at his mums and went to a concert, he let us meet the most famous singers in mongolia!! The horsemans was in the most beautiful steppe in the whole of mongolia, a very special place indeed. The reindeer herders was a next level experience. So kindly warm and it will imprint me for the rest of my life. Extraordinary. Don't hesitate to stay with Baigal or book via them.

Really nice place. Ger with electricity, warm shower and normal toilet. Close to supermarket and busstation. Baigal is a really nice women.

Baigal is a super host: warm, kind and forgiving; she is very helpful and well connected to make independent travel easier. Her son is a manager in local long distance bus station, can arrange bus tickets quickly. The price is very affordable 30000 MNT including breakfast. The accommodation itself is simple/basic.

After a long road trip, we arrived at Murun at night under heavy rain. We found Bairal's Guesthouse easily using Google maps and were warmly received. The traditional gers have electricity and the bedding is clean and comfy. Boggii made us a fire which kept the ger dry, warm and cosy. Despite being worn out from a long journey in the rain, the hospitality of the place warmed us up. Very good value for money and more than that, a lovely place to arrive at.

I stayed here because of my Canadian friend recommended here. It was so nice to get to know about Baigal and her family. Her family introduced me about mongolian lifestyle and also offered me so much nice foods while I stay there. Even though It was short time staying in her guest house, I would like to come back again on the way to go to Hovsgol. Her guest house is the best in Murun! I highly recommend this guest house to traveler who stays in Murun. 😀

Overall experience was great. The host gave us some hot and cold water to wash our hair. They were very welcoming.

Very nice and affordable place, we came here after a week camping and traveling and we slept in one of the rooms(a ger is also a possibility), they have a shower(low stream) an included breakfast and an option for laundry with a cost. But the most important part is baigal herself, we were missing a sleeping bag zipper and she took us herself to the market and then to the bus station to buy tickets, she really saved us, very highly recommended.

The stay at Baigal Guest House was really nice. We got there really late and a friend of Baigal came to pick us up. The place it's really near to the bus station we stopped. She offered free dinner for us and in the morning we had the breakfast included as well. She also helped us to find a driver to go to the lake and she was always taking care of everything! We payed 15.000 MNT (around 6 eur).
