Expect to pay anything from five bucks to thousands of dollars for the centerpiece of the gaudiest or coolest outfit on the planet, depending on your taste."

Google
Likely the widest selection of Aloha shirts in Oahu (if not the entire State of Hawaii) ranging from new contemporary and older classics to comical prints and decades-old vintage. Both men’s and women’s section. Old-school postcards, dashboard hula dolls and tiki memorabilia abound. A must-stop for anyone looking for a memorable gift for oneself or souvenir from the Hawaiian Islands.

Google
Nostalgia Hawaii shirts and vintage collectibles stuff. Nice helpful staff picked up a lunchbox for $79.00 n tax. ✌️

Google
An almost overwhelming stock to sort through. Give yourself an hour at least and be prepared for some sticker shock and consideration of what is vintage. I'm older so have a hard time thinking of the 90' as vintage. Lol. Still walked away with 2 new rayon vintage repros labelled as made in Hawaii. Would have like to have paid less but Hawaii is an expensive place and Waikiki is a heavy tourist area so prices go with the territory

Google
This place is an epic vintage shop. Yeah, they’ve got like 15,000 aloha shirts (not really my thing), but dig a little and you’ll find absolute gems—like perfectly beat-up cowboy boots in actual wearable sizes, crisp vintage hats, and incredible Japanese kimonos. I found one from the 1940s in stunning condition for a steal. Tons of ethnic pieces from different cultures, and it’s definitely a digger’s paradise.

Julianne Gray

Google
Really cool vintage spot with something for everyone. They have a wide variety of prices and items. Obviously lots of really cool vintage Hawaiian shirts. They also had some beautiful framed posters and wall art. Lots of personality in this place, and very kind staff!

David Capel

Google
Great place if you want an Ahola shirt that is a bit different from the selection in the standard places in Waikiki. Only 15,000 to chose from. A small trek from the main drag but Sunshine and Pineapple cafe was great for refreshments after the hard task of choosing a shirt.

Google
Wow, what an incredible treasure trove! Absolutely 100% worth it to visit if you’re in Waikiki or Honolulu. Yes there are 15,000 shirts but the friendly lady behind the counter will point you to the right direction and narrow down the racks which you can peruse and find your perfect Aloha shirt. Love the shirts we found - it’s the perfect Honolulu souvenir.

Trenton Bloom

Google
Loved visiting this place after passing it so many times in Waikiki and always wanting to stop in! There is an aloha shirt for everyone here and two sides to the store as well, it is huge! The owners are extremely nice and welcoming, I will definitely be back to explore again! Just be prepared it can be pricey since many of the shirts are designer or high quality vintage, but there are many shirts around $30-$40 as well.

Yelp
An incredible selection of vintage Aloha clothing. The owner has been collecting the clothes for years and is very helpful. I actually saw a Reyn Spooner maxi dress that I bought from a resale shop at home. I was shocked at the high price, but it is a very comfortable dress with big pockets in a great reverse print. When I wore the dress into the Reyn Spooner shop at Ala Moana, a sales associate was very excited to see a vintage dress. If you are looking for vintage Aloha clothing, this is a great shop.

Yelp
If you love Hawaiian shirts, you must come here. Mix of used and new, with some high end collector ones. Very friendly people!

Yelp
HUGE!! And I mean HUGE selection of Aloha shirts. So many it is hard to walk around the shop because there are so many shirts.

Yelp
Fun store to poke around in. They have a big selection of new, used, and vintage (more expensive) aloha shirts in the main part of the store and have a smaller selection of women's clothing in the back. The price can go pretty high for their vintage shirts, but there's plenty in the $10-$100 range as well. There were also a lot of great shirts that were XXL+ The staff is friendly and helpful and there is a small fitting area for you to try on clothes if you'd like (just a mirror behind a curtain though).

Francis B.

Yelp
I bought a shirt here a few days ago and noticed it had a SHEIN tag while washing it. I can't believe I paid double the price for what seems to be a used SHEIN shirt. This feels like a scam. really disappointing.

Yelp
Love vintage Hawaiian shirts? Well then.... You MUST drop into the "paradise" of vintage Hawaiian shirts at Bailey's Antiques and Aloha Shirts in Honolulu! We were in Honolulu, Hawaii for less than 24 hours and our soon to be 18 years old son wanted to explore the island paradise thrift stores. Our first stop was Bailey's which has been in business for 42 years! Great friendly owners! Interesting I shared with my son yesterdah, that my first visit to Honolulu was 1980---42 years ago with my parents and my siblings. In this visit we had just given our respects at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial a few miles away. Once we arrived I dropped my wife and son outside of Bailey's while I parked. I wasn't planning on joining them but my wife called me saying excitedly "You have got to come inside to see this place, its amazing! So I grab a required mask (October 2022) and then entered this Hawaiian shirt heaven. Apparently 15,000 Hawaiian shirt in seemingly ever possible pattern, color, texture, theme and size ranging up to 8X! Wow! It was a Saturday early afternoon and the store was busy but not packed. I began to browse this Mecca of "Aloha Shirts" which has had many famous celebrities make the pilgrimage over four decades including."Magnum P.I." "Blue Bloods" star Tom Selleck, "No Resrevations Required" celebrity ched Anthony Bourdain, and Margarittville rocker Jimmy Buffett who the owner shared she picked out his Halloween costume one year. If you enjoy thrifting and love Hawaiian shirts, this place a Honolulu MUST! Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours exploring not only vintage Hawaiian shirts, but also hats, jewelry, books and LPs. Pace yourself and you'll we be glad to entered Bailey's Antiques and Aloha Shirts! Aloha!

Yelp
They get a ding for horrible parking, higher prices, and its a very tight/cluttered space. That being said its a landmark for any Hawaiian/aloha shirt lover. I've never bought a new shirt here, just not my style, but the used and really vintage racks can be a gold mine if you take the time to search. Each visit i find a few in my budget but rest assured he has every size, style, color and brand you can imagine and its never the same twice!

Yelp
We called the day before and Minako cheerfully told us the hours. When we came in, she greeted us, kindly asked us to wear masks, and explained how the shop was organized. She was super friendly and helpful. This shop is crammed in the best way with inspiring, colorful, vintage, authentic, every verb a Hawaiian shirt shop should be. We were here a long time ago and never forgot it so we brought our friends.

Yelp
"Fun store to poke around in." Darn it, Jinny already said this! Well it is. There's just no better description. Like any good antique store, you never know what you will find here, but this place has treasures and junk you would never find on the mainland. Locals don't usually wear Aloha shirts unbuttoned over casual shorts with flip flops. Good Aloha shirts are worn like Guayabera shirts in Cuba, over nice pants for work. It's too hot to wear suits to work on tropical islands. They styles come and go, so older locals can come here and remember when this or that Aloha shirt was in style and younger locals can often identify the antique Aloha shirt in the store that they saw their grandfather wearing in a photograph. If they know what a photograph is. It's near a cat café, the Rainbow Drive In and a Zippy's, easily accessible by TheBus. This is not a place for bargains, the inventory is expensive because what they sell you can't get anymore unless someone on eBay is unloading an estate and doesn't know or care about the individual value of any particular old item.

Yelp
HAWAII 2020 ADVENTURES #12 - MONTGOMERY CLIFT INSPIRED SHIRT On the day before Thanksgiving after visiting the Halona Beach Cove I drove here to buy a Hawaiian shirt, which is very touristy. I came here because of the Hawaii episode of Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservation". He pointed to a shirt that Montgomery Clift wore in the movie "From Here To Eternity". When that episode originally aired I hadn't read the novel or watched the movie. When I came here I wasn't specifically looking for that shirt to buy. Entering the store I was intimidated by abundance of shirts from the racks and ceiling; there's so many shirts to choose from. Unlike in Kauai where at the last Hawaiian shirt store, which was Jacqueline on Kauai, I wasn't rushed by the manager of the store. I took my time looking at these shirts. The shirt displayed from the ceiling are the most expensive shirts in the store. One of those shirts was the Montgomery Clift shirt featured from the movie. That shirt costs over $2,000. In addition to the price I wasn't going to buy that shirt as it was a small size. From the Hawaii episode of Bourdain stated, "As with true love you don't pick your shirt it picks you." One of the shirts I was planning to buy was a white shirt with pineapples. The white texture had a similar appearance to a barong tagalog, which is a tradition Filipino shirt that men wear to church. I was going to buy that shirt until the manager showed me a retro Montgomery Clift shirt from one of the racks. Bourdain was right. This shirt was meant for me. Since it was not from the ceiling I didn't have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars. I didn't care if that shirt was used not new. I am not a big collector of Hawaiian shirts as I own only 6 Hawaiian shirts (ok that seems a lot of Hawaiian shirts). At that time I bought them they were new. I have to say the used shirt I bought at this store is my favorite Hawaiian shirt. Due to the manager assisting me in buying the Hawaiian shirt I give this place a better rating than the store in Kauai. The best advice I would give is to not come here with the exact type of shirt that you are looking for. Since there are so many shirts go through the racks to find the shirt that picks you. If you're traveling to Honolulu and want a vintage Hawaiian shirt I recommend coming Bailey's Antiques and Aloha Shirts as they probably have shirts made from all the Hawaiian Islands.

Yelp
My "go to" store for hard to find items! Unfortunately you'll have to pay the price!! I do pay his prices if I see something I like! David is a wealth of knowledge! Everyone is really nice in there. They all have a good sense of humor. Love seeing all the beautiful aloha shirts! Nice collection of rare items!

Yelp
I really enjoyed shopping at this little antique shop! The shop is small and literally filled to the brim. Two people barely fit through the rows of Hawaiian shirts. My boyfriend and I spent some time in this store. There was just SO many shirts. They Hawaiian shirts ranging from $10 - hundreds of dollars. I didn't even know Hawaiian shirts can be so expensive! My boyfriend and I had a successful shopping trip at the store. We both were very happy with our finds. I bought two shirts, totaling to only $30! What a steal! If you want a Hawaiian shirt from Hawaii, go here! You won't be matching everybody else wearing a Hawaiian shirt from the ABC stores lol.

Yelp
Undeniably the greatest selection of vintage aloha shirts anywhere is here! This place was recommended by the clerk at the Kahala store in the SALT center, so you know it's good. The place is small and jam-packed so tightly that it's difficult to move around between the racks of shirts. Luckily, they locate all of the plus-sized garments right at the entry of the store so bigger folks won't need to squeeze through to find XXL, 3XL, or 4XL. Yup, they've got some BIG shirts. So, the giant sizes are beside the entry, the smalls and XS sizes in the rear of the place. I wear a medium, so I was slithering and sliding between the racks nearer the back of the store. There are lots of other vintage items for sale, too, like ceramic tiki mugs, statuettes, posters, Snoopy memorabilia, and even boater hats. Go figure! I bought some 'vintage' postcards for 2 dollars apiece that I found later at the ABC Store for half price, but that's okay. It was worth a few shekels more to chat with the clerk (and see Magnum P.I.) and enjoy a moment of pure Aloha.

Addison R.

Yelp
Never seen this many Hawaiian shirts in one spot. Many of them are fairly priced but every one that caught my eye was pretty expensive. Many shirts for $100+. Owners are super friendly.

Yelp
The store is small and doesn't look like much on the outside but I promise it's worth a visit. There was street parking when we went, right in front of the store. We saw that Anthony Bourdain visited the store and have had it on our bookmark ever since. This is the place to go if you're looking for an aloha shirt. You'll find the shirts organized by size and gender. You'll also see a variety of styles and prices so you'll be sure to find something for everyone. There are new shirts and used shirts as well. We ended up buying a couple of shirts and they were so fun to wear. I'd recommend stopping in and getting an aloha shirt as part of your experience in Hawaii.

Yelp
Excellent selection of vintage Hawaiian shirts. I loved the character ones especially like Star Wars Christmas ones which were in excellent condition. Large selection of snoopy/peanuts memorabilia but you'll get sticker shock for the prices. We had a lot of fun poking around. I loved seeing some of the 80s toys. If nothing else, you'll have a good time seeing the fun items and will be sure to find something unusual. Surprising to see quite of bit of Black Memorabilia/ Black Face - offensive, yes but a reflection of the country's past we must never forget.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bailey's. There were so many Hawaiian shirts with unique patterns and designs. There were a good amount of Hawaiian shirts from the '70s. The shirt racks are organized by size, and there are some women clothing items in the back. The store also has jewelry and little antique statues. Be sure to park on the street as there is no parking lot for this store. We read some reviews beforehand stating that you have to don a mask before entering so we came prepared. Upon entering, the store clerk told us that that they are not enforcing the face mask rule anymore.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
This was one of the coolest places we went in Honolulu. It is floor to ceiling aloha shirts. You can find reasonably priced second hand shirts alongside vintage shirts for the seasoned collector. There isn't really much of a changing room, so I suggest you have a bathing suit or sports bra on under your shirt. I will definitely be coming back when I am on O'ahu.

Yelp
My family will verify that I hate clothes shopping. But for Bailey's, I make the exception. It is the best mens Aloha shirt shopping I've ever seen hands down, bar none. Located just up Kapahulu from Waikiki, it is a non-descript little shop and parking can be tough (some meters out front and limited curbside up into the surrounding neighborhood) but the diligent treasure seeker will be rewarded once you enter. Literally thousands of Aloha shirts jammed into every nook and cranny will greet you including many hanging from the ceiling! Yes, it is jam packed but that is part of the fun...maneuvering through random racks of Aloha shirts with the potential to find a gem. The proverbial needle in the haystack Hawaiian style! If you aren't into mens Aloha shirt wear, you really won't get the appeal of this place. I love them for their comfortable, cool fabrics and wide variety of patterns including some that have great graphics celebrating some well-known things in American and Hawaiian history. The shopowner is prolific for buying Aloha shirts from the public (some used, some new) and offering them for resale. There is an entire culture around this that sort of feels a little underground Black Market since some of these shirts are so rare or of limited release from 40 years ago that they are selling for well north of $1000! The fun of stopping in here is spending some time searching all of the available racks for a hidden gem. I have scored a Disney Rattatouille print, a U of H Warriors print, and a cool law enforcement profession honor print over the years. If you are a little more sedate, there are large numbers of more standard and popular Polynesian batik style prints and for the occasional tourist that wanders in looking for the loudest shirt on the island, they have some of those too. If the owner is in, spend some time talking story with him and get an understanding of his hobby. He and his store are a unique addition to the local landscape and I do applaud him for promoting the Aloha shirt culture. Happy hunting!

Yelp
We love to find local antique shops, so we were anxious to check out Baileys, which was close to where we were staying. The store opens at 10 am. Parking is a challenge. There are some small spaces on the side of the building but the ally is impossible to navigate because it is too tight. The store has over 1500 vintage Hawaiian shirts. Shirts popular in the 70s and beyond. Racks and racks of shirts averaging $35 each. So many colors and patterns. They took me back to some old movies. I have to say the smell of laundry detergent was a little overwhelming to me. There are a few antiques on shelves around the perimeter of the store. The prices were crazy high. A jadite Fire King mug, which generally sells for $25 or less, was $99. There was a silk banner saying Remember Pearl Harbor for $48, which was interesting. The clerk was friendly, but on the phone for most of our visit.

Yelp
My family has been buying Hawaiian shirts here every single year since 2002! Last year we bought 4, talked with the owner for awhile and had a good experience. TODAY, a year later, we weren't admitted without a mask! We've been here for 2 weeks so far, from the North Shore to Kailua to Waikiki, and this was the first time there was a no mask, no admittance policy in any type of business. Wow! Lost our family's future business and my company's 70-member staff!

Bailey B.

Yelp
Super cool store with TONS of shirts available, as well as some antiques and trinkets atop the shirt racks. However the prices are insanely high, even for shirts in poorer condition or from cheaper producers. A bit disappointing for a second-hand store.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
I was In Honolulu for the day and got two shirts one for me and my son. One was 50 the other 100. Both looked good and had vintage patterns. The more expensive one had a bit more detail. The store was overwhelming with shirts . And lots of price points. The lady was helpful showing me what was where. You can spend stimuli's money here! But they have many price points and large selection

Yelp
For anyone interested in buying a unique aloha shirt, I always recommend Bailey's. It's been a while since I've been in, but on a recent trip, it was great to explore and look at everything. Bailey's is an antique and junk store that focuses in aloha attire. Shirts are roughly organized by decade and style. They have everything from expensive and tasteful selections to kitschy and silly. Guaranteed you'll find what you're looking for, especially if you need something holiday or theme related. Shirts are everywhere, so be sure to ask if you're looking for something specific. The store also has a ton of collectibles and other stuff around, many of it in glass cases at the back of the store. Prices all around are a bit high; simply, it's overpriced. Regardless, you probably aren't coming here to save money, so if you find the perfect shirt, it's worth the money you're paying. They also have a great selection of vintage and old looking postcards to send to friends back home; also very different from the normal stuff you'll find in the touristy areas. It's easy to get here by walking from Waikiki; Biki and bus is also a breeze. Parking is street only, be careful of the times posted.

Yelp
Awful ! Paid a dollar for paper mask. Rude and not helpful. Smells like a dirty thrift store

Yelp
Love this place and visit every trip to Oahu over the years. Although prices have risen worse than the inflation rate in Argentina, it's always been a fun shack that causes smiles. Really can't recall who discovered it first, me or Tony? Doesn't matter. Just don't tell people or their prices will continue to sky rocket.
google avatar

Jet T.

Yelp
This place is heaven for Aloha shirt aficionados. The racks and rafters are bursting with rare, vintage and reproduction classics, and new shirts for all ages. And kitschy tiki stuff galore. Your kind and knowledgable host behind the counter is Minako. She is infinitely helpful and patient to help both newbies and veterans alike who may be overwhelmed by sheer volume on sale. She helped me from Tokyo visiting San Francisco and my significant other who is also Japanese (both formerly from Honolulu). I found 4 wonderful shirts at a bargain. I will be back on my next trip to HNL with more time to browse.

Aaron S.

Yelp
Was looking forward to a visit but was told I couldn't shop without a mask -- there was no one else in the store. They condescendingly tried to sell me one. No thanks. This ridiculousness has to stop.

Monique H.

Yelp
I was so excited to come check this place out as I have seen it on the internet before but coming into this store was the most bizarre experience. The woman working there followed my boyfriend and I around everywhere, we could not even look at anything without her breathing down our necks. She made us extremely uncomfortable she even made a comment about his dreadlocks being "an unusual hair style." I would not recommend any of my friends/ family to spend their money or time here. We had to buy masks to even enter the store which is ridiculous. ALSO the prices were just outrageous
google avatar

Mimi A.

Yelp
Bailey's Antiques & Aloha Shirts has such a wide variety of products for the whole family from Levi type I and II jackets to kimonos and WWII jackets! If you are interested in antiques, collectables and vintage I would highly recommend stopping by!
google avatar

Ian B.

Yelp
Similar to other negative reviews, this store has way overpriced shirts. However, the service is nice. You'll enjoy walking in, being greeted by the 1,500 colorful and amazing aloha shirts, smelling the musty smell of older items that haven't seen daylight in years, and then looking at replaced tags charging 95.55$ for most. Seriously, go to other locations if you want a fair bargain. Otherwise, you do you.
google avatar

Justin J.

Yelp
If you are need of an aloha shirt, this is a great place to go. They emphasize Hawaiian made shirts and have a variety from vintage to modern shirts in every price range. Worth the stop to look, peruse the tight aisles filled with shirts, and try on a variety of shirts to see what fits you best with your personality.
google avatar

Ken P.

Yelp
Was fun shopping in here ..lots to choose from. Good to know that celebrities come by here and shop as well and very friendly staff
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
This place has some interesting finds but also a lot of junk. There are decent prices on old aloha shirts, but anything decent is wayyy over priced. For example, they have some lovely jadite coffee mugs for $24. Piles and piles old stuff of no value. The store smells badly, too.
google avatar

Gwen I.

Yelp
Glad we stopped here. Soooooo many choices! I had been shopping during our vacation for a women's aloha shirt, but unable to find a reasonably priced shirt. Most vendors carried men's shirts or women's dresses, but not shirts cut for women. Finally! Lots of good quality shirt choices and sizes. And the patterns were not the typical patterns found at the ABC store, Aloha swap meet, or Costco.
google avatar

Misha T.

Yelp
Aloha shirt fever dreams. There's enough aloha shirts here to put one on like every single person you know. I'm not sure why that's a relevant fact but to witness such floral mania makes it absolutely worth a stop. I also picked up a cool dietrich varez reyn spooner shirt that i'm pretty fond of (though it was still $45).
google avatar

Tracey A.

Yelp
What do Anthony Bourdain, Charlie Sheen, and Tracey A. have in common? I wish I could think of a great joke here but I'm baffled. The one thing I know we all share is having purchased men's Hawaiian shirts at Bailey's, a dusty unassuming storefront packed to the rafters with new, vintage, and used Aloha shirts. If you're willing to do the hard work of sorting through tightly packed racks, you'll be rewarded with some beautiful finds. I was walking out of here with a gorgeous, new $90 reproduction of a men's Aloha shirt worn by Montgomery Clift in "From Here to Eternity" when I found a classic used men's Reyn Spooner shirt ($40) that I had to have. Then I doubled back and started looking at things again and wound up with another new men's shirt (Kalakaua, $63),and another used men's Reyn Spooner ($35). Anthony Bourdain paid thousands for his vintage shirt, so I didn't feel so guilty about my four purchases. The quality of the used shirts here is far above what I've come across in thrift stores and the selection is unequaled. Bailey's is selling the used shirts at $30 - $40 prices because they're vibrant patterns in good condition and there's a ton to choose from. The new shirt prices are also in line with the typical prices on these things. The vintage shirts look beautiful dangling from the ceiling and have prices to match. It's fine that they were out of my reach (in more ways than one). Bailey's also carries women's and children's clothes as well as some other assorted goods. To me, none of this compares to a good, colorful men's Hawaiian shirt. I poked around on that side of the store but found nothing that interested me remotely. The N.Y. Times listed Bailey's as the only "must see" shop for visitors with 36 hours in Honolulu. I wouldn't go that far, nor would I recommend going here if you don't care for Hawaiian shirts, but if that's your thing then definitely don't miss Bailey's.

Yelp
This is a weird place, guys. I don't actually know how to rate it. -Five stars for sheer quantity of aloha shirts. There are THOUSANDS. -Three stars for service--no one talked to me at all while I was there, and one girl who asked how much someone cost (no tag) was told "I'm not sure--you'll have to come back when my boss is here...he doens't come in until next Monday." -Four stars for price of shirts. There are actual vintage shirts that are pretty expensive, but lots of affordable replicas. -One star for accessibility. This shop is PACKED. Like...it's hard to walk around because things are so tightly packed in. I'm not claustrophobic, but even I was overwhelmed by how tightly things were packed in there. All in all...it was an interesting place. And I don't know how to rate it. But...it was interesting.

Ann V.

Yelp
Store is untidy and unorganized. Poor ventilation. Both on phone and in person staff weren't knowledgeable or helpful, one of them mostly looked at the phone the whole time I was there. Do you really need a vintage Aloha shirt? I suggest Savers, Goodwill, or Salvation Army.
google avatar

Birdie M.

Yelp
I guess it really depends on what kind of thrifter you are. If you don't mind dropping a couple hundred on used clothes, you'll probably love this place. Personally, I prefer finding vintage gems which you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for, but to each their own. I assume people must be willing to pay what they're asking here or the store wouldn't have been in business so long. If you got the cash and don't want to search every Goodwill on the island to find a unique, retro aloha shirt you should definitely check this place out. If you're cheap like me, just go to Goodwill or Assistance League.

Yelp
What a find this store was! As soon as I walked through the door I thought I was in Aloha heaven; racks and racks of shirts and Hawaiian collectibles. There are vintage Hawaiian shirts hanging from the ceiling. there are long sleeved shirts and slightly used shirts. And odds- and-ends everywhere. It is pretty cramped in the store as there is sooooo much stuff. At the till checkout the photos, maybe ( LOL ) you'll recognize some of the previous customers. This is the store to buy your Aloha shirt.

Yelp
Friendly service. Great selection of new and used Aloha shirts. Men's and women's. Also women's dresses and kimonos

Yelp
My family and I were really excited to shop here. We arrived and we saw lots of great looking shirts that we were ready to look through to find a new piece. Unfortunately my brothers, husband and I felt extremely un welcomed. She addressed my husband asking if he needed help so she can cut "through the chase". She seemed to be the owner/manager and proceeded ranting to herself about people coming late when she needs to catch a bus, although we walked in around 5:15 and her business technically closes at 6pm. Regardless, I'm sure if you're looking for cool Hawaiian shirt this is a good place to stop by, I just hope you don't go through the experience we went through.

Yelp
Parking is terrible. Store smells musty. There are a ton of aloha shirts for men, but the place is so packed that it's hard to maneuver and find what you're looking for. But the worst is if you are shopping for a woman's aloha shirt. The selection for women is terrible. You'd think that a specialty store would offer so much more for women than what you can find at any Waikiki souvenir shop...but no. And to top it all off, the prices really aren't that great. I don't want to spend nearly the same amount for a used shirt than I would for one brand new. Come on now!

Yelp
They should just call this the Hawaiian shirt Emporium. I did my homework before coming to Hawaii for the first time. I read about this place but could never have imagined the number of Hawaiian shirts available. Racks and racks all categorized by size and color. One amazing group is closer to the counter because of the fabulous vintage quality. Some of these are authentic and beautiful dating back to the 60s - and yes you will pay more for them. But you don't have to pay a lot. My husband found 2 that we finally landed on and paid for. Super cool and 1 in silk with an ethnic print. The other is more tiki and cotton for $20. So happy I convinced him to buy vintage instead of the overpriced merch around Waikiki. Not as much for the ladies but there is beautiful vintage barkcloth, quite a collection of old toys and Hawaiian treasures as well as some dishes. Careful because you could get lost in there easily... but that's the fun!

Yelp
Oh how awesome! My hubby found and bought 2 amazing quality hawaiian shirts. They are available in so many sizes, it's fantastic. Reasonable prices. also couldn't help but look at all the great antiques. Some of the unique stuff was so great we bought and packed back to the mainland. Need to see. Street parking, uh, challenge

Yelp
I am not the fan of used anything. That's just my preference. My husband wanted to visit this place as we always pass it when we are on Kapahulu. I always cringe but this time I gave in to his request. You walk in an it's like a plethora of aloha shirts. It even smells like old shirts and fabric. There are tons. I was so amused at The BUS shirts and old paniolo shirts although I know there would be no use for it. Loved the old Hawaii stuff. Oh they also have weird collectibles like old McDonald's toys and even the Snoopy Snocone maker that I used to have as a child. They have "choke" Reyn Spooner shirts some that look really used and some fairly new. Despite the fact that I try to keep my thoughts of them being on a dead guy, the selection is immense. Prices can be a little steep as they are used but I think it's possible to find a deal in the midst of the chaos of hangers and hangers and hangers. I would definitely recommend this place to any tourists and visitors to the islands. Lots of history and lots of aloha shirts.
