Nice spacious room and bathroom. The bed sheets, pillows and bathroom were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Reception needs a spruce up - is a lovely light space and some TLC and pride in the area would make a beautiful first impression and welcoming space. Under the reception stairs wasn't cleaned at all while we were there. Lady on reception with glasses was very helpful and professional. Some staff not friendly or engaged. Vents, windows, air conditioning all very dusty and need of a good clean. There is a lovely eating area outside, also needs tlc. Gardens outside reception need weeded. Great to have a communal laundry to use - unfortunately lazy guests have left it dirty, but it wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. Location is great, easy walk to train ststion and free CAT bus. Overall a good 3 star hotel, though I think was a little overpriced for the tired features. With a little effort and love, and improved customer service, Bayleys has the potential to be a fabulous hotel. The cleanliness, and customer service received are the ingredients that are remembered, and what makes people want to come back.

The service staff are excellent but in terms of the room, the toilet has flies and the shower head had rust If you have a short trip to Perth or you are there for an event or just want a cheap place to stay for your trip, this is a good place. There’s a free CAT bus service from the motel to CBD and the bus stop is only a minute walk away But if you are staying long, I would highly suggest to find a different place TLDR; You pretty much get what you paid for in terms of the room but the service staff is really nice

So close to Optus you can walk there. Rooms are big. Shower was hot with loads of pressure. Toaster microwave kettle and coffee pod. Easy check in. Will do a one night stay there again if going to Optus from the country.

Quite stunned, no tea bags replacement, unless requested to refill.Room bins not emptied unless full, to mention this to reception, was like telling them your best joke. Also waited for another ceral bowl for 2 days, had to share one. Beds comfy, shower 🚿 good..... would I recommend or come back, not really. This is my first negative review, but an honest one. Almost....like a faulty towers, no interest in your complaints, sad way to run a business 😕

Compact room that appeared clean. 3rd party booking states free parking however this is not the case and was charged an additional $15 per night for parking. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was in poor condition. There has been zero maintenance done in this room as swollen skirting, paint peeling and to top it off, I asked for a quiet room when I booked some time ago as am such a light sleeper. They put me beside the services/utilities room that runs the air con and exhaust fans for the restaurant below. I asked to change rooms and was told there was only a family room at an extra $400...but it was on the other side of the utilities room!! The fridge was leaking water and I turned the freezer unit up to stop that and then it froze my fridge items. A VERY expensive stay at a VERY disappointing place. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

Booked 7 nights under two different credit cards. 1st 3 nights personal, last 4 nights business. When we arrived all 7 nights were charged to the corporate card and it was a drama getting changed to personal for the initial 3 nights. I have just now gone to reconcile my business CC and found that was charged an additional $460 for the 4 nights, Quoted $1011 charged $1462.... When I phoned up to dispute was told the bank adds their fee. of 1.5%. I had a 50% increase. The reception person blamed the system so all I can say is CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS as if people dont this motel is raking in the $$$$$....

Very reasonably priced accommodation in a fantastic location. Our room was very well equipped with new furniture. We had a great view over the park too. Beds are super comfortable. Perfect for a short stay, or for families.

Booked this hotel for its location, walking distance to Optus Stadium and it’s free parking, not many hotels offer this.. wow get there at 2.02pm dead on check in time, only 2 people ahead in queue and all hell breaks loose with the guy in front.. no parking available, was told to park on street with paid meters..not enough parking for all rooms.. well the room card was thrown back at the desk clerk and refund was demanded.. totally agree with him, not good enough, can’t say what the stay was like cos we also went elsewhere.. be truthful when you advertise ‘free parking’
