Nice ride with wonderful views of Seattle that you wouldn’t normally get to see. Getting the tickets was super easy and boarding even easier. It’s a little bit bumpy in the cabin, and windy at the top but both are expected. You are able to get food on the ship though it was closed on our ride

One of the most beautiful sunset ferry rides in Seattle. Highly recommended when company is in town! Make sure you arrive 30-45 early so you save yourself a spot or you will be waiting much longer for the next ferry ride. Recently, the gully has been closed every time I’ve went. Dress warm for the chilly breeze on the deck!

This was a fun little trip! The trip from Seattle to Bainbridge is 35 minutes, and you only have to pay on the Seattle side. So we got tickets as walk ons for like $10 each. You can take the car but I’m not sure pricing! When you get on you can explore and even get food, and alcohol. We got some seltzers and enjoyed the view. They have an easy to read schedule and at least one trip an hour. Really awesome views of the Seattle skyline.

It was lovely trip. When the cars loaded into the ferry passengers are free to go to upper decks. The trip from downtown to the island was only 20 minutes. Price was $20.90 for car with only a driver in it.

A really enjoyable first experience. Got 3 different POVs: front deck, back deck (I know there are more legit nautical names, but they escape me), and from a window seat on the side. Biggest ferry I've ever ridden, so the vast space inside was a pleasant surprise. Lots of snack & meal options (had a beef dog) and available seats galore even on a sunny Saturday.

Just wanted to ride the ferry so we picked going to Bainbridge Island. Beautiful day for this short little ride. Fun time and a great way to see Seattle from the water.

Bought our tickets online and came early to watch the ferry arrive and the cars unload. Really efficient and fun to watch. It’s a beautiful ride across the bay to Bainbridge Island. 🤙🏼

Great views and experience riding the ferry. However the only downside is sometimes it can be running late unexpectedly so be prepared and allow plenty of time!

Yelp
We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island a few weeks ago during a large family trip to Seattle. My friend recommended the excursion, saying it would be great for our boys, in large part because of the ferry. She was totally right. We had a lovely day trip to the island, bookended by scenic, relaxing rides across the water. We didn't buy tickets in advance and showed up running to catch the 10:40 ferry on a Friday morning. We thought we'd barely made it, but there was some leeway built in while passengers disembarked and we waited to get on. Purchasing tickets was quick and easy, assisted by the nice people working the booth. The ferry was spacious and comfortable, with tons of open seating across two floors. There was an elevator, which let us go upstairs with a stroller. We claimed a couple of tables by a window and took turns sitting and walking around the deck. The ride was short, only about 40 minutes, and the views were great throughout, but especially as we left the terminal. Seattle looks beautiful from the water. Unfortunately, our two-year-old was more interested in the old fan in the cafeteria than in the marvelous ocean views, and I spent a good amount of time chasing him into that room. On the bright side, this was how I learned that the cafeteria sold Uncrustables. We bought one to go, and it ended up feeding our picky five-year-old while the rest of us ate fish and chips on the island. The ferry deposited us a short walk from the main downtown stretch of Bainbridge Island, where we whiled away a few pleasant hours. We caught the 2:55 ferry back, arriving with enough time to line up and watch the bikes and cars get off and enter the island in a little vehicular parade. We were back in Seattle less than an hour later, closing out our afternoon with the wonderful Overlook Walk. If you're spending any amount of time in Seattle, I'd highly recommend a day trip to Bainbridge Island, doubly so if you have kids. I've heard it gets busy on Saturdays and Sundays, but our Friday ferry experience was smooth, peaceful, and fun.

Yelp
+ Marvelous experience! An escort to the birthisland of pickleball, sign me up. + You can catch a sight of almost all WA's top attractions (like Puget Sound, Space Needle, Mt Rainier). + Both of the 2 vessels, Tacoma and Kaleetan, are beautiful. Huge. Fun to run around and explore the multiple floors, take pics with friends. + The ride is very smooth. So smooth that you don't even feel the takeoff. . Not much hearty meal food on board. Mostly just snacks, which is understandable, considering it's only a half hr ride. . $10.25 round trip for one adult (no car). + Why go on a $1000 cruise when you can go on a $10 one? xD

Yelp
What a fantastic day. Foggy, misty, ferry ride with my favorite human. Purchased tickets at the terminal. No line, no wait. As we waited in the terminal, folks began arriving. Ferry never felt crowded. Plenty of seating indoors and standing outdoors (if you can brace the cold!). My daughter was surprised at the smoothness of the ride. Water was somewhat choppy although we never felt it. The weight of the ferry allows for a very comfortable sail. A great way to spend a day!

Yelp
We took the ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. It's about a 30 minute ferry ride to get to the city and it's a great way to get to Pike Place Market and the waterfront area. It's a beautiful scenic ferry ride and on a clear day you can even see Mount Rainer. The city skyline is also a sight to see!!

Yelp
Easy to purchase tickets and board the ferry. Great view of the Seattle skyline and smooth, relaxing ride to Bainbridge Island. We saw a couple is seals along the way! Great, affordable excursion.

Yelp
It was easy to purchase a ticket and ride the ferry the first time as a pedestrian. The ferry was not overcrowded and I was able to walk around while on it. I rode it from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge and back. The view of the Seattle skyline was beautiful.

Yelp
Quick and cost-effective way to cross the Puget Sound from Seattle to Bainbridge Island and back. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded, no wait to get tickets, which were $10 round trip. The terminal in Seattle was spacious with lots of seating and clean. You scan the ticket when you go, but they didn't check on our return. Lots of seating, as well as booth seating with a table if you want to have a snack of drink. There's a small cafe and vending machines on the ferry if you didn't pack any. It takes about 35 minutes each way, so plenty of time to get some photo ops. There are large windows all around and a top level where you can walk around, but it was super windy! Definitely recommend this ferry and a day trip to Bainbridge Island if you're visiting Seattle!

Yelp
This is located on Pier 52 on the ferry terminal. This is no small fairy. It is a huge with ample amount of space fairy you're able to roam around there is a sun deck. There's also an indoors they have restaurants they have bathrooms. They have a galley you could go all the way to the front part of the ship or the back part on two different floors there's tons of photo opportunities that you could take. The ambience is very calm as it is very open space the service they're constantly monitoring the boat you're able to just walk around or stay seated indoor or outdoor. They also provide board games which is very fun. Highly recommend.

Yelp
One of the things I learned about Washington is that it is a ferry and boat town. One of the main things to do while visiting Seattle is take the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Price- My dear friend Christina actually drove her car onto the Ferry and once you drive your car onto the Ferry, you drive off onto the island. She also paid for all 4 passengers. The Ferry is very fast, it takes only 30 minutes to get across to each side. It's the traffic you will have to deal with. Weather didn't cooperate so we didn't explore the island much. We just went for Thai food and icice-cream and then back so I can't really tell you about the island. It was such a cool experience for a first timer in Seattle. The Ferry is huge on the inside as well and has a diner to buy food and drinks on. I will definitely be going back to Washington.

Yelp
The Bainbridge Island Ferry had me living out my Grey's Anatomy dreams. We traveled between Seattle and Bainbridge for an afternoon of wine tasting. We drove a car onto the ferry. On the way there, we got in line about 40 minutes early, so we were able to easily get onto the ferry. However, on the way back, there were a lot of cars in line, so we weren't able to get on the first ferry we were waiting for. The ferries were also backed up, so we waited in line for a bit over an hour. We were in great company, so it was not an issue at all, but it's something to be aware of if you're on a time crunch. There's a lot of unpredictability that can come with the ferry, so you have to give yourself enough time! Once on the ferry, we got out of our cars and explored. The ferry gives gorgeous views of the shoreline including the Space Needle and observation wheel. There's plenty of space inside with lots of tables and chairs. We got a little booth and played card games. The ride itself is so short that I actually could've enjoyed a little more time on the ferry. The ferry is a fun way to explore the islands and the ability to bring on a car adds to the accessibility of exploration on the other end!

Yelp
A memory I will cherish forever! It was my first time in Seattle, and my friend recommended we take the ferry to Bainbridge Island. It was not what I expected at all! There's a cafe on board, beautiful views of the sound, PUZZLES for you to enjoy on the 50 minute ferry ride. If vibes are important to you, this place has them!!

Yelp
Another must do thing when in Seattle! Tickets are $10 per person for a round trip. You can see the Seattle skyline and stunning Mountain Views. The ride takes 35 min. The ferry is timely and it is a smooth ride. We walked 30 minutes from the ferry stop to see Pia the peacekeeper troll!

Yelp

Yelp
It's easy to access you can pay through the machine or you can pay while you are on the boat. It is better to pay in advance as it's cheaper and only takes 10 minutes to get there it is very spacious and plenty of room. The other one costs about $60 even though it's a tour type of ride. I hope that you enjoy.

Yelp
We just love taking the Bainbridge Ferry. It's so quaint and quick! It always caps off a relaxing day on the island.

Yelp
Traveling between Seattle and Bainbridge Island is easiest and most enjoyable by Bainbridge Island Ferry. The round trip fare is only $10. That represents a meaningful cost savings. The ferry operates with outstanding efficiency and smoothness. The ride is exceptionally smooth and this makes the adventure a meaningful part of the overall experience. This experience provides several extraordinary views. These views constitute the feature of greatest importance. From Puget Sound, you can enjoy stunning views of Seattle's skyline. If the weather is clear, Mount Rainier and the islands are also visible. The stunning scenery is absolutely stunning, whether you are relaxing in the exceptionally comfortable cabin or enjoying the invigorating ocean breeze on the deck; its beauty exceeds the trip's expense. The ferry's capacity to transport many pedestrians, several bicycles and a number of cars accounts for its suitability to the needs of multiple travelers. Each way, the trip takes about 35 minutes, providing plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery. Whether you're visiting Bainbridge Island for hours or just need a quick escape from the city, this ferry service is an important resource. It's a typical Pacific Northwest experience and it offers more than just transportation.

Yelp
Great ride on the ferry to Bainbridge Island. We are in search of a giant Troll. Clean restrooms. We found helpful crew members to answer our questions. On deck was brisk, but we were dressed for it, so it was no problem. After a short stay outside, we returned back inside to where it was warm n toasty. Fun facts: "Bainbridge Island is a city and island in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. It is located in Puget Sound. The population was 24,825 at the 2020 census,[6] making Bainbridge Island the second largest city in Kitsap County." Wikipedia

Yelp
The Bainbridge Island Ferry was my high school (Shorewood High School) girls water polo team's mode of transportation to and from the Bainbridge Aquatics Center when we competed there for high school water polo games in 2009 and 2010. It was one of our further competition venues, and we had fun bonding while waiting in line for the ferry and then getting pumped up for the game on the passenger deck(s). For our game in 2009, we caught the last ferry of the day back to Seattle and the workers were super professional - meaning we had to hurry to make sure and catch the ferry. It added to the excitement of an already fun evening. Plus, we got to see the lights of the Seattle skyline on the ride back to the dock in Seattle.

Yelp
My friend and I were stunned by the beautiful views and the size of this ferry! This ferry is a short ride to Bainbridge island and you can buy tickets at their little window. You pay a little over $9 per person and you only have to pay to get there since the return from Bainbridge to Seattle is included. If you have a car, you can do advance reservation which is recommended online. Their ferry terminal is really big, has a lot of the tourist information pamphlets that have all the activities and areas to explore in Washington. Their bathrooms are also clean and they have drinks and snacks in vending machines you can buy in the terminal. The ferry is huge! It has multiple decks. Lower for the cars, middle and upper decks with tons of seating. There is even an onboard restaurant with food, drink, and snack options! The view from the ferry is beautiful!

Yelp
With a few hours to wander around Seattle, I grabbed a Starbucks latte & rode the Bainbridge Island Ferry across to the island & back. So Seattle, right? It's a peaceful, relaxing ride. And at $9 for the ticket, it was almost the cost of the latte.

Yelp
This ferry is a great way to bypass I5 traveling into Seattle from the South or exiting Seattle to the South. If you are traveling from South to North on I5, it is easy to exit to 101 at Olympia or Route 16 at Tacoma towards Gig Harbor. I love the ferry for the novelty, the experience traveling that way in any weather, the choice of decks, and people watching. One time, traveling from Bainbridge to Seattle, I struck up a conversation stretching outside the car waiting in the boarding lineup in fair weather. The woman commented about a recent visit to Portland with her partner for a lecture. Because I was at the lecture, it was clear she was partnered with famous glass artist, Chihuly*. But she didn't name drop in that Seattle Scandinavian, Northwest anti-celebrity, and just plain not showing off way we do. They have 2 ferry vessels assigned to Seattle-Bainbridge. I traveled by the Tacoma launched 1996. I can't believe how quiet it was, and it is not a new boat. The Tacoma has 2 vehicle decks, an enclosed main passenger deck, with outdoor decks fore and aft. Above is the viewing deck with enclosed weather-shielded, semi-shielded, and open decks galore. Then above that are the fore and aft pilot houses. In the Sound, if you want wind and weather on your face and in your hair, you can have it. Great photo ops too! I think of the ferry as romantic. They have a little cafe run by a concessionaire. They even have beer and wine, but not for my early route. You can bring on great food, much better, like the trains in Japan, from restaurants and delis on shore at either end. The Washington Ferry is a government job. I have always found the employees solid and professional. That starts with the incoming traffic directors, to the toll booth collectors, line-up directors, boarding/parking directors, boat crew, and all the arrival directors. All professionals and safety professionals. They dealt professionally with a vey unusual boat grounding on that route too. The Washington Ferry system is built for bikes and peds with fast special embark and disembark. Long ago, a friend lived in walking distance of the Bainbridge terminal and worked in downtown Seattle for a job. That would be cool. The Seattle-Bainbridge is a short route in the Washington Ferry system so it can be an introduction to more expansive experiences. It is a great and worth it go out of your way, or make part of your regular commute, for a pleasurable experience. *https://www.yelp.com/biz/pilchuck-glass-school-stanwood

Yelp
While visiting Seattle we decided to take a Ferry to Bainbridge Island. I recommend Get there at least an hour and half before the time you'd like to leave, seems like a long time but if you don't you'll wait even longer for the next one. There's bathrooms and bring your snacks or you'll be paying $4 for water. Everything went smooth driving onto the ferry, after parking on there you can get out of your vehicle and walk around the ferry, have snacks take pics and even have beer and wine:) We arrived at Bainbridge in an hour which went by really fast, drove off the ferry and went exploring. We stopped At Pegasus Coffee(separate review) and then went walking in the area. On to the next, went to Fort Ward Park, took some awesome pics there and enjoyed the nature walk immensely. It was then time to head back to the ferry, just like going to the Island there are several time slots to return to the City. I highly recommend this experience.

Yelp
On our last day of our Seattle trip, we took a ferry boat out to Bainbridge Island. The ferry station was close to Pikes place, purchasing our day trip ticket was super easy, and the waiting area was clean and spacious. Inside the ferry, there was plenty of seating available, and even a place to purchase food. The experience as a whole was very pleasant and convenient, highly recommend!

Yelp
OMG this was one of the highlights of my amazing work trip to Seattle mid October. My friends from work and I went to Bainbridge Island for a couple of hours on our last day. I am so glad we did. We got lucky and our last day had beautiful fall warm sunny weather. We just barely missed the ferry we were planning to take. It was more confusing to cross the street to get into the ferry terminal than we realized, we had intended to give ourselves more time to spare but lost track of time at breakfast. Even for pedestrians, give yourselves extra time to get onto the ferry. The ferry is big, was clean enough, ran on time, and all of the staff seemed helpful enough. The views from the ferry were incredible. Just riding the ferry back and forth is a highlight of the trip. We could see the mountains, see the Seattle skyline when returning, see beautiful views of Bainbridge Island. Truly incredible. Everyone visiting Seattle should ride the Bainbridge ferry!

Yelp
So efficient and clean!! You can get your ticket online or at the booth. Bathrooms and plenty of seating onboard

Yelp
Bainbridge Island Ferry is worth taking visitors to the area on sunny days because it provides an awesome skyline view of Seattle when the ferry departs. For locals though, I forgot how expensive it is to take the ferry, especially with your car. It's just one of those thing where I've gone to Bainbridge Island and don't need to be back for awhile. Bainbridge Island Ferry is super easy to take, departing from downtown Seattle on the waterfront. If you plan to take your car with you and a friend, it will cost you over $25 for one way. Depending on what you plan to do on the island, I recommend just walking on if you're spending all your time in the downtown area of Bainbridge Island, which is walking distance from the port. The space on the ferry is large, fitting as many cars as possible and takes off every hour. On the ferry, you can purchase refreshments, from snacks to beer and the ride itself takes half an hour. Plenty of seats on board, with a viewing deck on top. Again, take visitors for the picturesque Seattle skyline, and walk on board if you're only spending time in the downtown area to save money.

Yelp
Bainbridge island was AMAZING, and I am grateful that the ferry is so cheap (you only pay one way, the way from the island to Seattle is free). The island made it well worth the ride. The ferry is public transportation so it is a bit grimy. We walked on but you can also drive your car on, but I understand that the line to take your car on may take a lot longer. If you walk on you get on the ferry no problem - they're huge! The ride over offers awesome views of the skyline as well as the islands. The seats were pretty dirty and some were broken, but they offer seats inside, outside, and outside in wind shelters. Many people brought dogs on no problem. Overall very positive and would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Nice calming ride to the island Inexpensive way to see Seattle skyline Hate having to keep writing more just to post

Yelp
This ferry ride is always a wonderful experience. As a washingtonian ferry rides are one of my favorite experiences to enjoy the view, the water, the sun and the boatride. If you are a native or a visitor I would recommend riding the bainbridge ferry at least once. The ambiance is stellar, there are great views from every part of the boat, but also weather resistant refuges and indoor spaces for those who would like to avoid the heat or cold/rainy days. There are clean and convenient restrooms and vending machines while you wait as well. Before covid it was so nice to grab a snack and sit by the window. However, even without a snack the view is worth it. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They were kind and helped us get on board efficiently whether by foot, by bike, or by car. The price is reasonable for the trip, about $20-30 a car and $6 additional for every passenger over the driver. Overall, a nice ride, beautiful view and great fresh breath of air. Definitely recommend this ferry trip if you are looking for a nice day trip or even an overnight adventure.

Yelp
On a rare gorgeous, sunny, and warm day in May in Seattle, just the photo opportunities were worth the ferry ride. The visit to Bainbridge Island was almost like an added bonus. The ferry was large - it could hold 220+ cars and hundreds of walk-on passengers. Once you've parked your car, proceed to the top deck to enjoy the ocean breeze and the beautiful skyline of Seattle. There are many photo opportunities along the way, but the best ones are within minutes of departure. Reservations are not accepted for this route and it's first-come-first-served. We went on a weekday morning and arrived 30 minutes prior to departure with plenty of time to spare. On weekends and during summer peak seasons, it is recommended that you arrive at least one hour prior to departure time to ensure that you can get on. Late comers will have to wait for the next ferry. The ferry was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean as well. The cafeteria was closed due to COVID (or maybe a lack of business since travelers were not yet out in full force.) There were plenty of seats outdoors and indoors. The day we went, the vehicle decks were completely full but there were few walk-on passengers, so the interior felt very spacious and comfortable. Overall, it was an enjoyable ride and a pleasant escape from the city.

Mike R.

Yelp
This is the perfect boat ride for a day on Bainbridge Island. Short 35 minute ride but plenty to see. Awesome views of downtown Seattle and other islands in the channel. Beer and wine service enhances the trip along with many options for snacks and meals.

Susan N.

Yelp
Fabulous on time beautiful day!! No waiting and great service! The ferry must be new as not a speck of dirt anywhere!
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time hop into the ferry to explore Bainbridge Island. The transport time was about 35 minutes and I had a blast! Plenty of food choices on the passenger deck, nice view along Puget Sound / downtown, and surprisingly saw an orca jump out from the ocean. There were like 200+ vehicles on board the ferry. Even though the price for my vehicle was a little expensive than I predicted, still it's worth the purchase. Would love to do a walking trip to the island since it's free by foot from the island back to downtown.

Yelp
The ferry is always fun especially if you've never been in one. But those views... that's what gets me. Lived in Seattle and I still come for the view. Even if it's nice out bring a sweater and a beanie for those sensitive ears!

Alice W.

Yelp
So upsetting if you are from another State. One huge line with a wait of over 1.5 hours. Trying to get to SeaTac. Security won't answer any questions- people are very frustrated. Cant get any help trying to figure out to drive or take the ferry. Seems like a Town could figure out a better system.

Matt M.

Yelp
What a great trip. Smooth ride with plenty of seating. Blake enjoyed the snack bar, even had a bowl of chowder and a brew. Got to see the lights of Seattle and baseball stadium on the way back. Blake wanted to jump in and swim to that home opener. ( He's crazy like that)

Yelp
really nice ferry ride to bainbridge ferrry. only cost $9 for round trip for walk on and you get some excellent views of the city from the water. the ferry is about 15-20 min walk from pike place market. the ferry station is at pier 52 and you can just buy your ticket in person at the booth. recommend checking the ferry schedule and spending time on bainbridge island via bike rental or car.

Yelp
If you're looking for something fun to do while in the city that doesn't break the bank, take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island! For less than $10 round-trip, you can take a trip across the waters of Puget Sound with amazing city and island views. This ferry is huge! We boarded the ferry and watched in awe as all the cars loaded onto the boat. I've never seen anything like it and was amazed at how fast and efficient the whole process was. At over 400 feet long, the ferry can carry up to 200 cars and 2,500 passengers. I imagine this would be a good, cheap option for those that have a rental car. For 35 minutes we enjoyed views of Seattle in the distance, nearby islands, and the open waters of Puget Sound out on the deck. The wind picked up the further we got from the city, but thankfully there were a lot of seats available indoors and outdoors on multiple levels. There's also food outlets if you find yourself hankering for a snack. This was such a fun way to see a different part of Washington. I highly recommend sitting up at the top and enjoying the views. It's gorgeous and the perfect spot for photo ops, especially at sunset.
google avatar

Allan K.

Yelp
This ferry was soooo fun! I don't understand why most people would stay in their car when you can go on the deck to see the views and be cozy inside! Well, I can imagine if this is your everyday commute, it would get stale. It's defintiely worth seeing during the day and coming back at night to see all the city lights! It's a three level deck that can fit regular cars and logging trucks! Engineering at its finest. Took the ferry, ate at the Carl's rolling bay Cafe, hiked the fort ward park to blakely harbor and back, had pre-dinner at Jake's, and took the ferry back at night. Defintiely a day trip if living or visiting from the city.

Yelp
Washington state ferries all seem quite similar, and this one to Bainbridge Island is no exception. It gets you from point A to point B and back. The cost to walk on is reasonable, but driving - and cycling - can be a strike on the wallet, so be prepared. Plenty of indoor seating to watch the skies and water as you make your way across. A cafe with prepared, hot and bagged foods and snacks is available in case you get a hankering on the 30-minute journey across.

Yelp
First time on the Ferry going over to Bainbridge Island , smooth ride , beautiful views and lots of space to sit and a dining room area with a snack bar, clean bathrooms , seen lots of cars loaded on and the experience was great! enjoyed the ride over. price very reasonable from Seattle and your return back.

Yelp
The ferry is great for using as transportation to and from Bainbridge Island. It's gigantic with lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. And of-course the beautiful views of the Seattle skyline as you are pulling away. The ride itself lasts about 35 minutes. I recommend sitting outside on a nice day and getting great shots of the deep blue water.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great experience this was going Seattle to Bainbridge Island. The station is easily marked out as to where to get tickets and where to wait for the ferry. The ferry itself is so spacious and clean. My teenagers liked the downtime from sightseeing. We chose not to bring our rental car on board, but I think it would be better for seeing the whole island. However, walking to and from the ferry to the main street is so easy.

Yelp
This is my second time ever riding a ferry and it was a really great experience! Tickets were super cheap, they had plenty of options for ferry times. Boarding process was smooth, plenty of room as the ferry is massive. Quick ride over to the island and the ride back is free. Plus great views of the city.

Yelp
Took the ferry to Bainbridge Island and had such a great experience. The ferry terminal is located in downtown Seattle at the waterfront. It's only $8.50 per person for a round trip ticket. Once you get on the ferry, there is plenty of seating both inside and out. Not only do you get beautiful views of both Seattle and Bainbridge Island, it's a comfortable and relaxing 35 minute journey across Puget Sound. And because you are crossing the sound, it's not choppy. For those that get sea sick, not to worry, as both directions are very smooth.

Yelp
The Bainbridge Island Ferry is a great activity to do on a day with great weather. It cost 10$ for a round trip walk-on ticket and takes 35 minutes one way. You can plan a whole day trip on the island as well. The views from the top floor are amazing, to see the islands and Seattle skyline. There is plenty of seating all around and a galley for drinks and food. We got the house wine (chardonayè) and PPONOCR, which is a quirky way of spelling popcorn but still tasted good. They also had free Smuckers grape jam, which was to die for! Chef's kiss. I also love the views returning back from Bainbridge approaching the city. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Washington Ferry...runs like clockwork. Pay, wait a bit, load cars, people, cyclist aboard quickly and flawlessly. Sit in the car, get food or drinks on the passenger deck, sit outside or inside, there's plenty of space to relax, talk or just take in the sights...it was a great trip to Bainbridge Island. We stayed two nights on a quiet tranquil island. Ferried to Seattle to see the Space Needle, visit Market Street and eat crepes than buy some of the most beautiful colorful flowers at great prices. We had a memorable time visiting Seattle and sailing back to Bainbridge every day. Thanks WSF...

Yelp
This is the biggest and easiest ferry ride I have ever been on! So quick and easy! Highly recommend if you're in Seattle to make the trip on the ferry to Bainbridge Island! Such a cute little island for wine tasting.

Yelp
The ferry is great once you get on. However, the wait can be two hours! We got here at 11 am. It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get on the ferry. I would happily pay more to get a ticket with an appointment time to avoid lines.
