Absolutely loved the free tour. We learned a lot from our guide, Jacob, who is enthusiastic and excited to teach about sugaring. Our group was really interested in the science behind sugaring and then we got to try the syrup. I obviously bought a whole bunch afterward for christmas gifts as well as for me and my husband. We enjoyed walking the grounds of some of the farm.

Found Baird Farm somewhat by accident, while exploring Vermont. We had an awesome time. Jacob gave us an impromptu tour and tasting. Everyone was incredibly generous with their time. The owners, farm and syrup were fabulous . Ordered syrup to deliver to Wisconsin. 4 days later and we’re enjoying waffles and Baird Farm Syrup for dinner. Strongly recommend visiting and enjoying their products. The experience was 110/100!

My family was recently in Vermont, and were able to take the tour of Baird Farms… it was outstanding! Wesley did our tour, and he was so great at answering questions and explaining the process. It was a beautiful day, and the farm and grounds are absolutely gorgeous… their enthusiasm is so contagious that one of my relatives is even going to try tapping a tree in her yard next year! Seeing the process and that it really is a family-run operation was amazing and convinced us all that real maple syrup is worth every penny. Having it from a small-batch farm was incredible, and even my long-time, fake syrup loving husband, was converted!! The Baird Farms Golden was his favorite, so we bought a huge bottle. I’ve been trying to change his mind for years, and their syrup managed the impossible! Their infused syrups and other sauces are also great - you have to do the tour and the tasting, you won’t regret it!! So glad they’ll ship as well, although it’d be worth the 8- hour drive!

Absolutely AWESOME experience and the syrup is fantastic! Jenna was great and quick with communication and greeted us warmly at the "store." Jacob was full or energy and very knowledgeable about the process. Meeting Bob seemed like a bonus, I loved the conversation we had with him on the way to see how the trees are tapped and the sap is moved around and up to the cookers. We had the best time, one of the best tours we have ever been on. Thanks Guys!

Stopped by the Baird Farm and Jenna and Jacob were visiting with some other Maple Syrup providers. Jacob was extremely welcoming. Jacob was busy but took the time to show us around and explain the Maple Syrup process, spent over an hour. We sampled multiple syrups, and Jacob made the purchase and shipping seamless. The samples were amazing and ordered 3 different flavors, Dark, Birch Bark and Mint. Will make this our go to syrups in the future. An amazing experience and wonderful people.

I make homemade sausages and one of my recipes is a maple breakfast. I use the maple powder in conjunction with maple syrup. I try my best to local source all my ingredients. It was a pleasure to find Baird Farms had just what I was looking for. I'll be making a batch next week and can't wait to try out this great find. Thanks Baird Farms

I was looking for a tour to take my kids on to learn about maple syrup making. Jacob was the best tour guide we could have asked for, funny, knowledgeable, full of facts that kept the kids interested. Jenna and Jacob were both great in the gift shop when it came to answering questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Even if we do not make it back (we probably will) I will 100% buy products from them to support their family farm. Even though it was not in season for making syrup they answered every question our group had.

We visited Baird Farm for a tour this past week. My husband and I brought our almost 3 year old and our 9 month old baby. We weren't sure what to expect, but it was so relaxed! Jacob led our tour and introduced everyone in the group. He was so friendly (and funny) and led the tour at a pace that was right for everyone in the group (including a pregnant lady and a fellow who had a little trouble walking). This is just to say that he was an amazing and considerate host! He tailored the tour to the group's interests. The trees were not currently being tapped, but we were able to see how the whole process works. The tour was followed by a sampling that was so lovely - Baird has really unique maple syrups infused with other local botanicals. It was so fun to try them and feel like we were sampling the local forests. There were picnic tables to use if you brought a packed lunch and honestly the cleanest port-a-potty I've ever seen in my life. The farm setting was unbelievably picturesque. It's a great place!
