First the good... it was a relatively inexpensive large room with a bath. The bed was spacious and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV in the living-room with English channels. The kitchen had a 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, and a stove-top.||||The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, the Maya Lifestyle Shopping mall, Tawandang night club, as well as many other restaurants. There are several convenience stores just a few steps away from the hotel. Being on a main road through the city, transportation was not an issue.||||The hotels attached restaurant had excellent, reasonably priced, food, though was a little challenged delivering an included in room-charge "American Breakfast," though they really made an effort to get it right.||||Now the not so good... my room had ants, which seemed to get onto the furniture, and liked to crawl up my arms seemingly from out of nowhere... The hotel did spray the room to get rid of the ants when it was brought to their attention, the same day! ||||The furniture in the living-room was inexpensive, not in keeping with the rest of the room... the sofa was a low sitting love-seat with sides that lowered to make it a cot. It sat low to the floor and was uncomfortable. The table was small and round, though there was a counter top and another square table in the living-room that was also low to the floor.||||The staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate requests. If I return to Chang Mai I would consider the hotel again based on price, location, convenience to shopping, and friendliness of the staff.
