During my stay at Baiyoke Ciao Hotel in Chiang Mai, I found the experience to be a mix of positives and areas needing improvement. The hotel's location in the Nimmanhaemin area is excellent, offering easy access to local attractions and dining options. The room was spacious and equipped with a kitchenette, which added a level of convenience. However, the facilities felt somewhat dated, and certain aspects of the room could benefit from refurbishment. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the overall ambiance lacked the warmth I had anticipated. While the hotel provides basic amenities, a few updates could significantly enhance the guest experience. Overall, Baiyoke Ciao Hotel offers a satisfactory stay, especially for those prioritizing location and room size, but there's room for improvement in terms of modernity and atmosphere.

The staff were amazing, 5 Star Service. Building is a little older, but for that you get a larger room. The location is amazing, right in the action. Price is reasonable. Rooms big, clean, with large comfy beds. The hotels associated restaurant is just simple, amazing, food. Breakfast was fun, took a club sandwich to go. Two negatives: (1) bathroom is very dark, shower over bath is not recessed into the floor and makes for a somewhat awkward and slippery step in and out. (2) wonderfully generous aircon unit, which is a plus, but the external unit is right outside your window humming away all night.

Great location near Maya shopping mall. However, it is in the flight path, so expect loud airplane noise from 6am to 11pm everyday. Bed is horribly hard. Furnishing is old. There is a stove in the room but no pots and cooking utensils. Hot water is plentiful.

First the good... it was a relatively inexpensive large room with a bath. The bed was spacious and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV in the living-room with English channels. The kitchen had a 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, and a stove-top.||||The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, the Maya Lifestyle Shopping mall, Tawandang night club, as well as many other restaurants. There are several convenience stores just a few steps away from the hotel. Being on a main road through the city, transportation was not an issue.||||The hotels attached restaurant had excellent, reasonably priced, food, though was a little challenged delivering an included in room-charge "American Breakfast," though they really made an effort to get it right.||||Now the not so good... my room had ants, which seemed to get onto the furniture, and liked to crawl up my arms seemingly from out of nowhere... The hotel did spray the room to get rid of the ants when it was brought to their attention, the same day! ||||The furniture in the living-room was inexpensive, not in keeping with the rest of the room... the sofa was a low sitting love-seat with sides that lowered to make it a cot. It sat low to the floor and was uncomfortable. The table was small and round, though there was a counter top and another square table in the living-room that was also low to the floor.||||The staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate requests. If I return to Chang Mai I would consider the hotel again based on price, location, convenience to shopping, and friendliness of the staff.

The place is clean throughout and has a nice cafe underneath as well as a 7/11 and laundrette next door, the laundrette is closed on Sunday's. 24 hour subway and coffeeshop next door, nice for a midnight snack! ||Very large room, almost too big, has a separate kitchen area and bathroom. ||The bed is pretty hard but it's not the worst I've slept on to be honest. It's just a bit on the stiff side. ||The shower is a bit low, I'm over 6 feet tall and the water wasn't washing my nipples!! I think the builder must have been quite short! ||Of course the shower head comes off the wall but I'd prefer not to have to touch it to wash. ||Overall it's good for the price, the location is good, big shopping mall at the end of the street. ||They do what they do pretty well. ||I would stay again, it's definitely not a bad place. ||The area of Niman suffers from noise from the airport, from about 8am to 12pm expect to hear the aeroplanes! They are not far above.

The hotel room was like a service/studio apartment which comes with a bedroom, attached kitchen and bathroom. The small bathroom came with bathtub as well. Our room on fifth floor was spacious with windows overseeing Nimman. Location is strategic with walking distance to many trendy cafes and shops. Some furnitures can be slightly aged but not a big deal judging from the price itself.

A very nice hotel. We had a nice suite, with two rooms. The air was good, a TV in each room, and good internet. There was a kitchen that we didn't use as there is so much good food a minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was at the Dude cafe, which was fine although limited to three selections. Overall we had a nice stay and I would come back.
