We stayed one night for an experience of Nimman Soi 6 Walking Street. Hotel parking is tough if you have a vehicle (the courteous staff moved their mopeds to free up a parking spot for us). I booked a King suite room but received a two twin beds suite (perhaps a mistake on Expedia’s part). The airplane noise wasn’t as bad as in other reviews imo - it’s a given for being close to an airport. Also no noise from other guests. Spas, restaurants, wine and coffee shops are all close by within easy walking distance. Breakfast was included as an added bonus.

It was better than I expected. I stayed for a nearby conference and booked directly with them. The staff was helpful, and the room was a great value for the price. It’s also easy to get to from the airport, with buses available during the day. A short walk north along Nimman Road, you'll find affordable food stalls and a 7-Eleven. The only downsides were the mediocre breakfast and the lack of a view (our window just faced other buildings). Still, for a budget option, I think it's definitely worth the stay.

I got a great deal for this hotel from booking an air ticket. Center of Nimman, spacious room, but quite basic.

During my stay at Baiyoke Ciao Hotel in Chiang Mai, I found the experience to be a mix of positives and areas needing improvement. The hotel's location in the Nimmanhaemin area is excellent, offering easy access to local attractions and dining options. The room was spacious and equipped with a kitchenette, which added a level of convenience. However, the facilities felt somewhat dated, and certain aspects of the room could benefit from refurbishment. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the overall ambiance lacked the warmth I had anticipated. While the hotel provides basic amenities, a few updates could significantly enhance the guest experience. Overall, Baiyoke Ciao Hotel offers a satisfactory stay, especially for those prioritizing location and room size, but there's room for improvement in terms of modernity and atmosphere.

The staff were amazing, 5 Star Service. Building is a little older, but for that you get a larger room. The location is amazing, right in the action. Price is reasonable. Rooms big, clean, with large comfy beds. The hotels associated restaurant is just simple, amazing, food. Breakfast was fun, took a club sandwich to go. Two negatives: (1) bathroom is very dark, shower over bath is not recessed into the floor and makes for a somewhat awkward and slippery step in and out. (2) wonderfully generous aircon unit, which is a plus, but the external unit is right outside your window humming away all night.

Great location near Maya shopping mall. However, it is in the flight path, so expect loud airplane noise from 6am to 11pm everyday. Bed is horribly hard. Furnishing is old. There is a stove in the room but no pots and cooking utensils. Hot water is plentiful.

First the good... it was a relatively inexpensive large room with a bath. The bed was spacious and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV in the living-room with English channels. The kitchen had a 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, and a stove-top.||||The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, the Maya Lifestyle Shopping mall, Tawandang night club, as well as many other restaurants. There are several convenience stores just a few steps away from the hotel. Being on a main road through the city, transportation was not an issue.||||The hotels attached restaurant had excellent, reasonably priced, food, though was a little challenged delivering an included in room-charge "American Breakfast," though they really made an effort to get it right.||||Now the not so good... my room had ants, which seemed to get onto the furniture, and liked to crawl up my arms seemingly from out of nowhere... The hotel did spray the room to get rid of the ants when it was brought to their attention, the same day! ||||The furniture in the living-room was inexpensive, not in keeping with the rest of the room... the sofa was a low sitting love-seat with sides that lowered to make it a cot. It sat low to the floor and was uncomfortable. The table was small and round, though there was a counter top and another square table in the living-room that was also low to the floor.||||The staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate requests. If I return to Chang Mai I would consider the hotel again based on price, location, convenience to shopping, and friendliness of the staff.
