Short loop through Saguro National Park West. Lots of various hiking trails lead off the loop of various difficulties. The petroglyphs are an easy hike up a hill with steps and not to be missed. The loop is unpaved but very flat and most cars with low clearance would have no difficulty. This side of the National park has a much larger number of Saguro cacti. Pay at the visitor center.

Beautiful drive. Lots of view points, hiking options, and views of the desert. It was 100 when we visited so really appreciated the drive.

Loved this experience! It was a lovely time of year to visit. The sunset views were amazing on this drive and the small hikes were fun and easy for everyone. Highly recommend. Just keep an eye out for critters and the cacti.

We did the loop and hiked signal mountain to manville and back on castle wren. I would say moderate to easy hike if you are a hiker. Highly recommend doing the full loop. The Saguaros are amazing! Massive ones along the trail with unique views of the entire park through the trail. The visitor center was quite packed when we arrived.

Fun experience! Would recommend going early to avoid the crowds and catch an awesome sunrise!

This is fun place to see Saguaro cactus that are very densely populated. The loop road is not paved but it is overall a smooth ride. We did not hike here because we did a few walks at the other Saguaro NP site the same day.

This is a hidden gem!!! It’s a dirt road but well taken care of. Great spots to take pictures and enjoy nature 🌵🏜️

Great thing to do if is too hot outside because you get to stay in the AC of your car but still get a feel of what Saguaro National Park West (Tucson Mountain District) has to offer! It is a dirt road but is well maintained and I feel almost all, if not all, vehicles can make it. Definitely more Saguaro Cactus on this side versus the East (Rincon Mountain District).
