We had a delightful early dinner at BAKE by Banyan Tree Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and it was such a lovely experience, especially with kids. The pasta was absolutely superb—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their cakes and pastries are a definite must-try! Each dessert was beautifully crafted and tasted as good as it looked. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. As an Accor Plus member, we were thrilled to enjoy a 50% discount, making the whole experience incredibly affordable for the quality offered. BAKE is a perfect spot for a relaxed family meal or even a casual hangout over coffee and desserts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and unbeatable value in the heart of KL!

Came by this morning 18/05/2025 to buy a last minute cake for a birthday. The two ladies working were so lovely and helpful! Ended up walking away with five sponge cakes and two cheesecakes, all of which were delicious!

I visited The Bake by Banyan Tree for breakfast this morning with friends and was thoroughly impressed with their coffee. The aroma and flavor were exceptional, making it one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in a long time. Chef Giuseppe’s Ferrero Roche delights were absolutely superb—each bite was a perfect blend of rich chocolate and hazelnut that left me wanting more. However, I do feel that the à la carte menu could benefit from a few more options to provide a wider variety for customers. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a great cup of coffee and delicious treats!

A lovely nook at Banyan Tree with such delightful pastries. I absolutely love the croissant. Their house special raspberry conserves and good butter works so well. I noticed interesting breakfast and tea time options, will definitely go back try it.

stayed at Banyan tree hotel and spotted this lovely shop downstairs. The place is usually relatively empty with only a few people seated a time. The cakes all looked delicious . Highlight was their chocolate cake which was rich and not overly sweet.

Went this morning at 910am. There were 3 other tables occupied. Place was dead with no soul, smile nor vibe. Only one staff seemed interested in even greeting and taking orders while the other looked pissed off and made coffee, avoiding any visual contact. Was told food (an avo toast) would take 20mins despite the place being half empty. My business partner was smart enough to cancel his order and simply leave for elsewhere while I decided to stay on. If is after all a lobby resto of Banyan Tree so how bad could it get? Oh was I to find out. When the food finally came it was average. To top the poor experience off, when it came to payment, I was told that the hotel had decided to end the 50% Accor Plus member offer UNLESS such a member was also an in-house guest. This is unacceptable and Accor has to be made aware. Combined a dour soulless experience, never again. Just go to Pavilion or Ruma hotel if you want an experience above the ultra low baseline set by Banyan Tree. As for me, I went to Coffee Academics at Pavilion for a double espresso to cleanse my palate of this experience, in more ways than one.

Nothing Beats Having An Authentic Meal Delivered After A Long Week First off, this is a review on their food delivery and not dine-in nor stay. Service: We ordered through a third party app hence not much to comment about. Packing: Not exactly your typical take out box with a little window set to make your mouth water. Nicely wrapped in cling wrap with cut chillies, napkins, cutleries and wet towels giving it a nice touch. Mee Goreng Mamak Style (RM46.01) Taste: Absolutely delicious and loaded with garnishings like taufu and tomatoes giving the dish much flavour. Simply as authentic as it gets. Last but not least, the portion was really generous which would easily feed 2 people or last 2 sittings. Price: Not the cheapest that we’ve had. But pretty reasonable given the size of the portion. All in all, though it was a little pricy, it was absolutely delicious and value for money. Our full review is on Instagram (@monk3yseendo)
