Baker Bleu

Went to Baker Bleu and picked up a few baked goods -rhubarb danish, cinnamon scroll, custard tart & ham cheese croissant. The standout was definitely the custard tart - smooth, sweet filling without any eggy taste. The ham & cheese croissant was perfectly flaky and delicious. The danish was a bit chewy and not as flaky, while the cinnamon scroll could’ve used more cinnamon sugar and was slightly dry (wish it could’ve been warmed up, though only the croissant could be heated for some reason). Service was quick & efficient given how busy it was, and the coffee was pretty good too.

Stylish interior with a wide range of beautiful pasties. 🥐 I LOVED the almond croissant with Yuzu, creative and not overly sweet. 🥯 The open bagel was amazing! Highly recommend the Salted beef one! ☕️ The coffee was good too! Lovely indoor and outdoor seats available!

I was very excited to try it and my expectations were really high. Everything looks amazing and it tastes at the same level. We tried the potato pizza, pain au chocolate, the cookie and the ham baguette. The bread was good but I expected it to be even better. I recommend the pain au chocolate and the pizza was tasty too. I would definitely come back.

Pre-ordered the sesame challah, Fougasse (Onion, Garlic & Parmesan Onion & rosemary dough, topped with parmesan, confit garlic oil & fried shallots.) , country loaf roll, mini babka, Christmas croissant and panettone. I think everything was good except for the Christmas croissant & country loaf. Can't wait to try other things.

Was excited to finally visit Baker Blue, however the entire experience was very disappointing. The staff at the counter serving had poor customer service. Unfriendly and zero smiles. We went before lunch to avoid the rush too. Their chicken salad sandwich is supposed to be their best seller. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations and was quite average, salty and one dimensional. Bread was a bit dry too since it’s premade. Tables are not very clean as well.

The best sourdough in Melbourne — must try the Seeded Spelt Loaf, Multi-seed bagel and the Sesame Challah bread 🥵 Coffee is great + fast service + a real beautiful buzz about the space. Not too many tables so best to get in early or come later as it gets really busy around 8-11, otherwise this place is such a hit 💯

Great variety of options , the toasties and bagels at Cremorne need to be at each spot, they were amazing Great innovation Baker Bleu, always coming up with new flavour profiles but consistently nailing the pastry element! Still yet to find a better croissant after sampling most of Melbourne's best!

Portuguese egg tart was excellent, although a little pricey. Crust was flakey and the perfect custard to crust ratio. Filling is on the slightly sweeter side. The sausage roll was hearty, with good quality filling. Interesting that they used a phyllo pastry. Unfortunately this meant there ratio of pastry to meat was off and the pastry was quite greasy. I would pass on the sausage roll, but give the egg tart a try.
