Great spot right on the beach! We stayed in an apartment and felt it had all the necessities. We slept very well, almost overslept checkout. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, and quiet. The water pressure was great as well as the duel headed shower. Our host was very helpful and kind during checkin.

Nice apartments, it has everything you need. Good kitchen, good shower and bed. Perfect for the golden circle day. The downside was contacting them through email to confirm my reservation. I didnt get an answer

Really great apartment. We had everything that we needed: - reasonable price - great location directly at the see - clean and tidy, comfortable beds - warm and quiet - water kettle and coffee machine (pads) - hair dryer and cosmetics - you can pay in cash (€) - staff is very friendly and helpful We saw polar lights here twice 😲 (end of October)

I loved Bakki Hotel. It was clean, spacious, and complete with oven, microwave, dishwasher, stove, ref, and kitxhenware. The water had a hint of sulfuric smell but it didn't bother us at all. We just used bottled water for brushing and drinking. The place was very spacious since we stayed in the one bedroom apartment. I will definitely be back for sure!

Nice and comfortable stay, spacious room. Didn't know the economy studio only has microwave and cutlery.

We booked the 2 apartments for 7 adults. Each room had similar layout with bed for 2 and sofa bed laid out for another 2/1. They were thoughtful enough to put our rooms next to each other. They place is a very quirky place because on the out side it seems like they haven't finish renovation but inside is nice and well equipped with kitchen, dining table and bathroom. We enjoyed walking around the small town and walking taking sunset/sun rise photos. There is not much else to there and limited place to eat but it's a short drive to Selfoss for food and groceries. We basically cooked breakfast and dinner. Even made sandwiches for our lunch in the car.

I booked a bed in a dorm for one night and everything was fine. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were really clean and it was quiet after 10 pm. The hostel was quiet but, as the kitchen is quite small & there aren't a lot of showers, I could see how it could easily get crowded when the hostel is full.

This is located in a very nice town by the seaside. There's a lovely walk you can take out to the old dock that faces out to the sea. ||As for the private rooms, the beds were not very comfortable. The "blackout" shades had slits in them and didn't block out much light; which was especially important since we were visiting during the summer months. The climate was also finicky, some nights it was warm, others it was cold. There was no thermostat. Overall, it was difficult to get a good nights sleep most of the time.|However there is a kitchenette and free tea in your room. ||Theres also a few stray cats that hang around the hotel, which is personally always a plus for me.||I would probably not stay here again due to the poor sleeping conditions.
