We arrived early, 18:50, and were nearly turned away by the waiter saying they open at 19:00. The head waiter intervened and seated us inside, at our request. We ordered glasses of house red and rose wine (E2.50) which was pleasant. The tapa that came next, some kind of cold beef with pine nuts or something was outstanding, but the waitress could not put a name to it, so neither we nor you can order it again.
We shared a rustic salad, which was excellent for about E8. Bread was an extra E1.1 each, a delicious but small crusty roll.
For mains, my wife tried the lamb shank with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, excellent at about E18. I had the pork belly with rice noodles which was tough, about E16. We may or may not have been offered cava after the meal, but I couldn't understand the waiter (my Spanish is minimal) and asked for the bill.
Overall, a good meal, but not a good value.
