Balai Tinay Guesthouse

I’ve literally travelled around the world and this is one of the very best accommodations that I’ve ever booked. It’s such a unique and beautiful guesthouse and you really can’t beat the views from the terrace! The room and bed was extremely comfortable and they’ve thought of everything that you could possibly need for the duration of your trip. It felt like being at home! The owners and people who work there were incredibly welcoming and friendly too. I also really appreciated the free water and coffee which kept me going when waking up early each morning to view Mayon! Thank you all for an unforgettable stay :)

Great hospitality and lovely accommodation, especially given the price. Our room was spacious and well appointed, we also thought the decor throughout was cute. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. We would stay again.

THEY HAVE THE FASTEST INTERNET I'VE EVER BEEN TO! No complaints about their place. Good location, homey vibes, clean, has natural sunlight, very spacious, lots of plants, owner is really accommodating as well.

This guest house is located in a residential area in Legazpi, there are fast food chains, restaurants and cafes near the area. Most tricycle drivers also know the guest house. I appreciated the help of Sir Gerson when I got stucked in Sumlang Lake kasi wala ako mabook na Grab pabalik. The guest house is homey, very comfortable and I will totally recommend.

This guesthouse has been a home away from home to me. It has served as my perfect isolation for 2 nights to recuperate from flu and jetlag. The place is calm, spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, not to mention plenty household plants. Check out time is 12nn but we were allowed to get extended check out time to accommodate late departure time. Highly recommend this place if ever you want to visit Legazpi City.

We had a great relaxing stay here. Gerson, caretaker, welcomed us when we arrived and our room was lovely. Small but clean with comfortable bed and fresh clean bed linen and towels. The air-conditioning was so quiet which was great for sleeping 😴. The shower has hot water too. The guesthouse has several communal areas including a third floor area with great views of Mt Mayon. Hot and cold water is available to use, plus coffee and mugs. The kitchen area is free to use and you can store food in the fridge. The town centre is close by with a supermarket 5mins walk. We relaxed and slept well enjoying the tranquil surroundings including the plants Gerson has grown since lockdown. Balai Tinay is a lovely family run guesthouse and we would highly recommend a stay if you visit Legazpi.

Balai Tinay is a tastefully appointed guesthouse in the picture-perfect city of Legazpi. The rooms are kept tidy and come with free Wi-Fi and toiletries. You may help yourself to unlimited drinking water and coffee in the super cozy dining room-cum-living area, where guests are served an appetizing breakfast every morning. Did I mention that Small Talk Cafe, Bigg's Diner, Jollibee, and Robinson's Supermarket are a short stroll from the guesthouse? You won't have trouble finding Balai Tinay, because most tricycle drivers are familiar with the place.
