Balcon Del Mar

One of our dinner highlights in a two week Costa Rica trip. Good food, an amazing host (Kevin) and way cheaper then lots of other restaurants. Would go there again anytime, unfortunately we were just passing by in Montezuma.

Excellent meal and great service from Kevin. We had the Seafood Platter was fantastic!!! It had lobster, tuna, calamari and one of the biggest whole sea bass I've ever had, plus other local fish on the platter. Very fresh and cooked to perfection

Little place. Had fresh red snapper and had awesome drinks for under $20.00. The waiter was very nice.

We ordered the tenderloin steak with mashed potatoes, which was the most expensive meal we ordered in Costa Rica, and we were served a pathetic, tiny over-cooked piece of dry meat with a tiny portion of mashed potatoes. The tiny portion was just salt in the wound. There's no reason for that, especially not at these prices. We ate the meal and went straight to another restaurant since we were still hungry. The service was also not very good since we had to wait forever to get anything. I gave a 2 star review because the ambiance of the upstairs patio is quite nice.

This was the perfect lil hideaway spot to enjoy killer ceviche and watch the hustle and bustle of the tourists and community alike. I came back here a few times because I loved the vibe and food. The family that runs it seems very kind and does a great job in making you feel "at home."

Very good food and well presented. Staff was attentive and helped each other so we were never waiting long for anything. Beef medallions were perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. Best meal we had that week. Highly recommend.

Very nice, authentic and cozy place. So many lovely details and very friendly staff. The food was so fresh and delicious. Great view if you can catch one of the frot seatings. 👍🏻

Nice family run business. Delicious red snapper, a bit expensive for two beers and a fish, but it was good enough to be worth it as a special treat.
